USER MANUAL MS 900 Efbe-Schott
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any changes except under special instruction from Team International BELGIUM. q Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
q Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.
q Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the instruction manual together with the appliance.
q Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
q People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
q Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
q Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they use it as a toy.
q From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician (1). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified service (2).
q Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
q Never immerse the motor block in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
q Never use the appliance near hot surfaces. Do not stand the appliance on hot surfaces (e.g. a cooking plate) or near a flame.
q Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
q Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
q Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
q Always switch off the appliance when it is not in use and unplug it. Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
q Always unplug the appliance before attaching or removing an attachment or before approaching a part that is mobile during use.
q Always unplug the appliance from the power supply when it is not in use, especially if you leave the appliance unsupervised or if you assemble or disassemble it or before cleaning it.
q Only use this mixer for cooking purposes.
This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section "Important information" in the instruction manual.
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
The blade of this appliance is extremely sharp, always be very careful when handling the appliance.
q You may use a scraper (to clean the blades) when the appliance is unplugged.
q When mixing warm liquid, be particularly careful as a projection of hot liquid could cause serious burns. Never use this appliance to mix boiling liquids.
The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food, which have to be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.
q Never touch the blade when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the blade in any way whatsoever.
Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not intended for professional use. The short-time non-stop operation should not exceed 30 seconds. The breaks should then last at least 1 minute. It is better to operate the appliance in intervals.
HOW TO USE
Your new stick mixer is convenient and easy to use for powerful high speed blending. It is great for shakes, soups, sauces, omelettes and much, much more.
Your appliance is delivered with a mixing cup. The lid (7) can serve as non-slip bottom for the mixing cup as well.
Before using for the first time, the appliance should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged first!
- Fit the shaft (1) to the appliance in such a way that the triangular markings are facing each other under the opened padlock. Screw the shaft anticlockwise onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit (3) - the triangular markings under the closed padlock are facing each other. Using gentle hand pressure ensures that the shaft is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
- Put the ingredients into a suitable container such as a mixing bowl, cooking pan or mixing beaker (if included). Do not overfill to avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
- Plug in at the mains.
- Put the head of the shaft into the foodstuffs before pressing the key. This will avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
- Do not use the appliance for longer than 30 seconds of continuous use. The appliance must then have a break of at least 1 minute.
HOW TO CLEAN THE APPLIANCE
Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
The motor unit should only be wiped down with a moist cloth.
- Unscrew the shaft from the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft clockwise.
- Wash the shaft under running water immediately after use. If it is very dirty, it can be cleaned in warm washing-up water.
DO NOT put the detachable shaft in a dishwasher. The chemicals used in dishwashers and the salts will mark and stain the surface.
- For best results after cleaning and drying, lightly coat the metal surfaces with cooking oil. This will keep the finish bright and stain-free.
- Dry the detachable shaft thoroughly after washing.
-NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT IN ANY LIQUID.

This guarantee which covers all material and manufacturing defects. No guarantee claims will be accepted for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use, excessive wear due to intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observation of the instruction manual, or failure to descale where appropriate or otherwise clean/maintain your item in line with the instructions and good practice. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if some attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held responsible in case of accidents.
In the event of claim, in the first instance, please contact your vendor and return him your complete appliance. The guarantee will only be valid if the date of purchase and signature of the vendor is clearly indicated on the guarantee card or if a copy of the receipt is sent with the appliance that needs repair.
Or send the appliance well packed and freight prepaid to our customer service with a short description of the default in capital letters with the mention "Repair under guarantee" together with the guarantee card or receipt.
In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear (e.g. motor brushes, dough hooks, driving belts, spare remote controls, spare toothbrushes, lighting, etc.) as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!
AFTER THE GUARANTEE PERIOD
Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified technician or a repair service.

The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with the directive.
