How to descale the KM 46 machine?

Use a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1) or a special descaler. Pour into the tank, run a cycle without coffee, then rinse with two cycles of clear water. Repeat every 2 months depending on water hardness.

What type of coffee to use?

Use ground coffee for filter (medium grind). Do not use too fine coffee to avoid clogging the filter.

How to clean the removable parts?

Wash the carafe, permanent filter, and water tank with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not put in dishwasher unless otherwise indicated.

The machine stops by itself, is this normal?

Yes, the automatic shut-off activates after about 30 minutes of inactivity to save energy and ensure safety.

Why does the coffee overflow from the filter?

This can be due to too fine a grind, too much coffee in the filter, or a dirty filter. Use the recommended dose (one spoon per cup) and clean the filter regularly.

How to replace the permanent filter?
