How to connect Munet Link via WiFi?

Connect the power adapter and connect the audio cables. Enable WiFi on your audio source, connect to the temporary network "My Munet xxxxxx", then open the configuration page (iOS automatically, Android via 192.168.1.1). Choose your WiFi network, enter the password, and click "Save". Then download the Munet App to control the device.

How to connect via Bluetooth?

Connect the power adapter and connect the audio cables. Enable Bluetooth on your audio source (phone, tablet), search for devices, select "My Munet xxxxxx", and confirm the connection. If asked, enter the password 0000. Only one Bluetooth connection is possible at a time.

What do the indicator lights mean?

The LED indicator shows the state: red flashing = startup; steady red = power off; blue flashing = WiFi connection in progress; steady blue = connected to WiFi; blue 3 flashes = connected via Bluetooth; steady violet = standby; rapid violet flashing = software update; violet 2 flashes = volume min/max; violet 3 flashes = identification via app.

How to add another Munet speaker to the network?

Repeat the WiFi connection steps for each new device. Connect to the temporary network of the new device, configure it on the same WiFi network as the first, then use the Munet App to group them and stream music simultaneously.

Can I use Munet Link without the app?

Yes, for wired (AUX IN) and Bluetooth connections, the app is not required. For WiFi connection, initial setup requires a web browser, but the app is recommended for multiroom management. Streaming via WiFi is possible without the app once configured.

How to reset Munet Link?

The manual does not describe a reset button. In case of a problem, unplug the power adapter for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If the problem persists, contact customer service. A software update may also resolve some issues.

What is the maximum Bluetooth range?

The Bluetooth range is about 10 meters in open space. Walls, furniture, and other obstacles can reduce this range. For optimal connection, place the devices close to each other.

How to update the software of Munet Link?

The update is performed via the Munet App or automatically when a new version is available. During the update, the indicator flashes rapidly violet. Do not unplug the power or Internet connection for at least 10 minutes.

What to do if WiFi connection fails?

Check that the WiFi router is on and the password entered is correct. If the network does not appear in the list, press "Refresh". Make sure your audio source is connected to the Munet temporary network. You can also restart the router and Munet Link.

How to clean Munet Link?

Unplug the power adapter before any cleaning. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaning products. Avoid moisture entering the device openings.

- During setup and normal operation, the MUNET's indicator light provides information on connection statuses.

Connection modes

- The MUNET can easily be connected to an external audio source by 3 different ways. With wired or Bluetooth connection, MUNET can act as audio source. Under ideal setup conditions, among them a suitable WiFi connection, up to 14 MUNET speakers can stream your music, everywhere throughout your house.

Wired connection

1. Connect the supplied adaptor to the power inlet. Connect the adaptor to a suitable wall outlet.

2. Connect the supplied audio cables with the Line Out R/L sockets and with an audio output source (i.e. your stereo).

3. Connect the supplied audio cable to the AUX IN socket and to an external audio source (e.g. mobile phone).

4. Start playing music from the audio source.

• No installation of the Munet App required.

Bluetooth connection

1. Connect the supplied adaptor to the power inlet. Connect the adaptor to a suitable wall outlet.
2. Connect the supplied audio cables with the Line Out R/L sockets and with an audio output source (i.e. your stereo).
3. Activate Bluetooth on audio source (e.g. mobile phone). Browse for devices and select "My Munet xxxxxx *".
4. Establish connection. If necessary, enter password 0000.
5. If necessary, select "My Munet xxxxxx * " as audio output device.

Notes:

• No installation of the Munet App required.
• Only one Bluetooth connection is possible at a time.
- In order to connect another audio source with Bluetooth, the previous connected device must be disconnected.
* For "xxxxxx" use the WiFi Mac address of the individual MUNET.

Preparation

1. Place the MUNET LINK in range of your WiFi router.
2. Connect the supplied adaptor to the power inlet. Connect the adaptor to a suitable wall outlet.
3. Connect the supplied audio cables with the Line Out R/L sockets and with an audio output source (i.e. your stereo).
4. Activate WiFi on audio source (e.g. mobile phone).
5. Open the list of available WiFi networks on your audio source.

Establishing the WiFi connection

1. Open the WiFi connection on your audio source (e.g. mobile or tablet).
2. Connect to your designated MUNET device.
3. Join the temporary WiFi Network "My Munet xxxxxx *". No password is required.

1. Your MUNET is now paired with the WiFi network.
2. Download the MUNET App from the Apple App Store (iOS) or from Google Play (Android) to control the MUNET.
