Frequently Asked Questions - 360001 PRINCESS

How to fill the water tank?
Remove the tank, unscrew the filling cap, fill with cooled boiled water (max 4.8 L, max temperature 40 °C), screw back on tightly and replace the tank.
What vaporization modes are available?
Two modes: cold vaporization (position 'cold vaporization') for normal use, and hot vaporization (position 'hot vaporization') for accelerated humidification or low ambient temperature.
How to adjust the vaporization capacity?
Turn the dosage selector (mark 10) to the desired capacity. The device can vaporize about 300 ml of water per hour.
What to do if the indicator lights flash?
This indicates the tank is empty. Turn off the device, unplug it, fill the tank with water and follow the startup steps. If you do not fill it, the device turns off automatically.
How often to clean the device?
Clean the device every week. Change the water daily, even if you use the device little, to prevent bacterial growth.
How to descale the humidifier?

PRINCESS 360001 - 3

Algemeen

An atmospheric humidity of 40-60% is a climate in which people feel comfortable. This handy, quiet humidifier changes the atmospheric humidity in your home.

It is necessary to humidify the air when the relative atmospheric humidity is low, such as in the summer when using an air conditioner and in the winter when using a heater. By humidifying the air, you produce a more pleasant interior climate and prevent wooden furniture and floors from drying out and cracking.

PRINCESS 360001 - Algemeen - 1

Only use the air humidifier if the air is relatively dry. You can use a hygrometer to measure the atmospheric humidity.

The humidifier has a durable vaporiser and a safety device to protect it against becoming empty. The humidifier's water tank is also easy to see in the dark thanks to the integrated light.

  • Change the water daily, even if the appliance has not been used very often.
  • Never fill the appliance via the nozzle.

6 Screw the cap firmly back onto the filling opening.

8 Place the nozzle back on the water tank and aim the nozzle in the desired direction.
9 Insert the plug into the plug socket.
10 Turn the selection switch to the required setting.

The setting (cold vapour) will

normally be used. Select warm vapour) if you wish to produce a vapour more quickly or if the room is cold.

PRINCESS 360001 - If the indicator light and/or the I/O indicator light blinks, and you do not refill the water tank, the appliance will stop working automatically and the indicator lights go out. - 1

Maintenance and cleaning

PRINCESS 360001 - Maintenance and cleaning - 1

  • Clean the appliance once a week.
  • Change the water in the appliance daily, even if the appliance has not been used very often. If this is not done, then bacteria may start to grow in the water, which may be harmful when vaporised.
  • Scale may form in the appliance in areas with hard water. If this is the case, regularly clean the appliance, particularly the vaporiser.
  • Make sure the plug has been removed from the plug socket before cleaning the appliance.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water.

2 Use a soft brush to remove any scale on the vaporiser sprayer and the float mechanism.
3 Rinse the reservoir three times with cold water.

Descaling

Scale may have a negative effect on the appliance's performance. Scale often occurs in areas with hard water. We advise you to use a suitable descaling agent when scale appears. Always follow the descaling agent's instructions. Less scale will form if you use a water purification appliance.

PRINCESS 360001 - Descaling - 1

  • Use a descaling agent to clean, in particular, the vaporiser and the float mechanism.
  • Make sure there is no descaling agent in the water when you use the appliance again.
