acetone, undiluted acids and solvents as these

corrode the materials used on the unit.

Do not draw in burning or glowing objects.

Do not direct the unit at people or animals.

When unpacking this appliance, do not just

consign the packaging materials to the bin.

Deliver the packaging materials to a suitable

collection point for recycling.

The electric motor has been designed for one

voltage only. Always check that the power supply

corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.

Using an extension cable

If an extension cable is required, use an approved

triple-core extension cable suitable for the power

input of this tool (see technical data). The mini-

ENGLISH Assemble your suction unit as follows.

• Open both container locks and lift off the

• Invert the dirt container.

• Press both steering rollers into the holes

provided until they latch into position.

• Push the axle of the wheels into the guide.

To do this, first push the bearing disks to the

outside left and right to the wheels.

If necessary, push back the parking brake.

• Fit the holder for the vacuum pipes and the

• To suck dry, push the enclosed paper filter

bag onto the suction neck.

3. Putting into operation

Prepare your suction unit for operation as

• Twist the vacuum hose into the suction hose

connection (bayonet joint).

Attach adapter to suction hose:

• Adjust adapter to the diameter of the electric

tool connection piece; use a knife or saw.

• Instead of the connection sleeve, screw the

adapter onto the NW 35 mm suction hose and

fit onto the connection piece of the electric

• Insert the mains plug into the socket.

Note:The flat folding filter must always remain

fitted in the suction unit.

The vacuum cleaner is not suited for sucking up

health-endangering dusts, such as asbestos.

The unit is electrically conductive. Accessories

must be antistatic for this to be effective.

The cleaner has 2 operating modes selectable

via a rotary switch.

for dry suction and wet suction

Industrial vacuum cleaner mode (IS)

small vacuum extractor mode (EOB)

4.1 Automatic Mode via Socket

• When the cleaner is being used in con-

junction with an electric appliance, the latter

is plugged into the grounded outlet of the

cleaner, and the switch is set to position 2.

The cleaner is then automatically switched

on and off with the electrical appliance.

Note:The built-in electronic system has a start-

delay for the suction turbine of 0.5 s and a run-

on time of 15 s. Electrical appliances of 150-

2100 W can be connected.

The unit must not be connected if the

connection piece diameter of the dust-ge-

nerating electric tool is larger than the dia-

meter of the suction hose.

The unit does not have a low-voltage re-

lease for the integrated socket, therefore

always switch off the electric tool (operating

device) in order to prevent it from uninten-

tionally starting up when the extraction unit

is restarted. DANGER OF ACCIDENTS!

You can suck up dry dirt without any problem

both with and without a paper filter bag.

We recommend that you always use the paper

filter bag for sucking up fine dirt.

The paper filter bag gives you:

- significantly higher dust holding capacity.

- simple and hygienic dust disposal.

Operation with compressed-air operated

hand-controlled machines

• Rotary switch position 1

When switching on the unit, the dust extractor

must be switched on first, followed by the dust-

generating machine. When switching off the

unit, the sequence is carried out in reverse. The

minimum volumetric flow indicator is set during

automatic operation. If the volumetric flow drops

below the minimum, the signal lamp illuminates.

• Always work without a paper filter bag.
