HEATING WATER TO A SELECTED TEMPERATURE
The temperatures available are 100, 95, 90, 85, 80, 75, 70, 65, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, and 25 (ºC).
1. Press the < button.
2. The display will show 100ºC and the < icon will ash.
3. Use the u and d buttons to set the temperature you want to heat the water to.
4. After 5 seconds the < icon will stop flashing and the kettle will start to heat up the water.
5. When the water reaches the temperature you set the kettle will switch o automatically.
6. You can switch the kettle o at any time by pressing the < button.
7. The display will continuously show the temperature of the water in the kettle.

This function only works at the 95, 90, 85, 80, 75, 70, 65, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, and 25 settings. If you have chosen a temperature below 100, and you want to keep the water warm:

4. After 5 seconds the > icon will stop flashing and the kettle will start to heat up the water.

6. After 40 minutes, the keep warm function will switch o. The > icon will disappear from the display.
7. The display will continuously show the temperature of the water in the kettle.
8. To cancel the keep warm feature, press the > button until the > icon disappears from the display.
- When you lift the kettle, you may see moisture on the stand. Don’t worry – it’s the steam used to switch o automatically, which then condenses and escapes via vents under the kettle.
- You may see some discolouration on the oor of the kettle. Again, don’t worry – it’s due to the bonding of the element to the kettle oor.
- If you normally heat water to less than 100°C, and keep it warm, you may ignore the < button, and use the keep warm function on its own.
- You must then remove the kettle from its stand to reset the cut-out.
1. Unplug the stand from the wall socket, and let the kettle cool down fully before cleaning.
2. Wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth.
4. Grip the top of the lter, and push it down and into the kettle to release it.
5. Lift or tip it out of the kettle.
6. Rinse the lter under a running tap while brushing with a soft brush.
7. Fit the bottom of the lter into the mount at the bottom of the spout.
8. Push the top of the lter towards the spout, to force the top hooks under the rim of the kettle.
DESCALE REGULARLY Descale the appliance at least monthly with a proprietary descaler. Follow the instructions on the package of descaler. Products returned under guarantee with faults due to scale will be subject to a repair charge. RECYCLING
