Thank you for having purchased the Solnan air humidifier, an air&me product. We hope that it will bring you complete satisfaction and improve your indoor air quality.

As with all electrical appliances, it is important to maintain the appliance properly in order to avoid any damage or injury. Please read these instructions carefully before switching the appliance on and keep them for later reference. WAF-direct society accepts no liability for any damage that is caused by noncompliance with this instruction manual. The appliance is only to be used in the household for the intended purposes described in this user manual. Using the appliance for other purposes than the intended ones or performing technical changes to the appliance could be hazardous for health and life.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Please read all the instructions carefully before using Solnan.
2. Any use that is not recommended by the reseller can lead to fire, power surge or can hurt people.
3. Remove the packaging and make sure that Solnan is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your reseller.
4. Do not let children play with the different pieces of the packaging.
5. Before using Solnan, make sure that the voltage indicated on the product is in accordance with your electrical installation.
6. Pay special attention when using the appliance near a child.
7. Using an extension electric cable can create overheating and fire.
8. Do not pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance. Always unplug Solnan by holding and pulling on the socket.
9. Do not insert object inside the wet air outlet. It can cause electrical shock or damage the appliance. Do not cover or put objects that can obstruct the air flow.

10. Always unplug Solnan when you are not using it.

11. Never use Solnan if it can fall into a liquid.

12. During operation, leave at least 20cm behind, around and in front of the appliance.
13. Make sure the product is on a dry flat and horizontal surface.
14. Do not use Solnan outdoors.
15. Do not use Solnan in a room where you are using aerosol or spray products.
16. Always unplug Solnan when moving it.
17. Keep the product clean and in good condition.
18. Only use the recommended spare parts (non official parts could be dangerous and invalidate the warranty).
19. Store Solnan in a dry and safe place, away from children.
20. If the power cord is damaged, it can be changed by the reseller. Only qualified persons can make this repair.
21. This product cannot be used by children less than 8 years old. Please read carefully this user manual and use Solnan with caution.

USE PRECAUTIONS

• Never connect the appliance when the tank is completely empty.
• Fill the tank with tap water or demineralised water. Do not fill the tank with softened water with a salt softener.
• Make sure the product is placed on a dry, level surface and 10cm away from the wall.
• Before first use or after transportation, the unit will take approximately 30 minutes to display the actual room temperature and humidity.
• Make sure that the removable filter and the tank are correctly positioned and depressed.
• Do not remove the float from the tank, as this will prevent the unit from starting.
• If you want to move the air humidifier, make sure to hold the appliance base and not the tank.
• Do not put essential oils directly in the tank; it will damage the components.

FILLING THE TANK (SEE PAGE 3)

Make sure the appliance is switched off.

① Lift the tank out of its base and remove the upper lid.
② Fill the tank with cold water. Do not fill the tank with hot water as this will cause leaks.
③ Replace the lid.
(4) Replace the tank on its base, in the right direction, using the float as a guide.

YOU CAN ALSO FILL THE TANK WITH A BOTTLE OF WATER:

After having removed the upper lid, empty the bottle in the tank and replace the lid.

The humidifier automatically turns off when the tank is empty et the light indicator turns red, to avoid any overheating of the appliance and for safety reasons. After filling, the humidifier restarts taking into account the previous settings and the light turns blue again. Otherwise, it turns off after 5 minutes.

AROMATHERAPY (SEE PAGE 3)

Solnan has an aromatherapy function. To use it, press the broadcast drawer at the bottom of the left side of the device (⑨). Once the drawer is open, pour a few drops (4 to 8 drops depending on the desired olfactory power) of the essential oil of your choice on the cotton. Close the drawer and turn on the unit. It is recommended to renew the cotton with each change of essential oil.

Never put essential oils directly in the water tank: this will damage the unit.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fill the tank with water.
2. Plug the power cord. The digital display will turn on and you will hear one beep. Then, the display will turn off after one second and the appliance will be in standby mode.
3. Turn the appliance on by using the ON-OFF button (A). The humidifier starts working: steam comes out of the appliance and the blue LED is turned on. The digital display indicates the ambient humidity rate.
4. After 15 seconds, the display changes and indicates the humidification power on which the appliance is set up.
5. Press the buttons to select the operating modes.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

[POWER] FUNCTION: Solnan is equipped with 3 levels of diffusion power, allowing to increase the speed of air humidification and to regulate the intensity of the mist. The corresponding number appears on the digital display:

1-Low power
2 - Medium power
3-High power

When the digital display indicates the ambient humidity rate, press it once to increase the preset power. Press it a second time to change the power.

At full power, the mist produced may condense around the appliance and give the impression of a tank leak. To avoid this phenomenon, reduce the diffusion power and/or place the humidifier towards a heat source (at about 1 meter).

[8] [TIMER] FUNCTION: This function allows you to choose the operating time of your appliance, from 1 to 12 hours.

1. By pressing button ⑧, the digital display indicates "01" for "1 hour of operation". Press the button repeatedly to reach the desired value.
2. Without any action on your side, the digital timer display stops flashing after 5 seconds, which means that the setting is successful.
3. Once the desired operating time is set up, the digital display indicates the remaining time every minute, and decreases from hour to hour. If you have set the Timer to "03" (3 hours), the digital display will indicate "02" after one hour of operation.

To cancel the Timer setting, hold down button 電 for 2 seconds.

[HYGROSTAT] FUNCTION: This function allows you to set up the ambient humidity rate to the value you want (between 30 and 90% ). For maximum comfort, we recommend a humidity rate between 45 and 55% .

1. Before pressing button ⑨ , the digital display indicates the ambient humidity rate.
2. Press button ① , several times to select the value you want. The value increases in steps of 5 %
3. Without any action on your side, the digital hygrostat display stops flashing after 5 seconds, which means that the setting is successful.
4. Once the desired humidity rate is set up, the digital display indicates this rate every minute, flashing slowly.

Set up of the appliance in CONTINUOUS mode:

To activate this function, press several times the button ⑨ until the “CO” acronym appears. After 5 seconds, the digital display indicates again the ambient humidity rate.

Caution: By selecting the [HYGROSTAT] function, it is not possible to adjust the power of the appliance.

NIGHT MODE: You can activate or deactivate the LED display of the appliance:

1. Hold down the button ⑨ for 2 seconds: the blue LED situated under the appliance and the digital display turn off.
2. Press one of the buttons to reactivate the digital display.
3. Press again one of the buttons to modify the operating mode of the appliance.
4. Hold down the button ⑥ again to reactivate the LED lights.

AUTOMATIC AIR HUMIDIFICATION

Solnan is equipped with an [HYGROSTAT] function that allows you to choose a desired humidity rate in your room. By making this setting, the appliance will automate its operating.

MAINTENANCE

• Make sure the unit is turned off and unplugged before handling.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use corrosive, abrasive or flammable products to clean the unit.

CLEANING THE TANK: To avoid scale deposits, clean the tank at least once a month with a suitable product or white vinegar. To do this, remove the tank from the unit and remove the cap, then fill it with water and cleaning agent. Let stand for 15 minutes, then empty and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water before putting it back in place and turning on the device again.

CLEANING ULTRASONIC PLATE: Dry the ultrasonic plate and clean it with a soft brush. Then wipe it with a soft cloth.

STOCKAGE: To avoid any bacteria or virus proliferation, never store the appliance with water inside the tank and be sure that the appliance is perfectly dry.

1. Empty and clean the tank.
2. Clean the pre-filter.
3. Store the product in a place that is protected against dust and that is clean and dry.

The water filtration cartridge of Solnan is made of ceramic beads. It guarantees a healthy and good quality steam by eliminating the excess of calc and bacteria. Easy to use, it has to be screwed inside the tank cap and then will remain immersed in water.

We recommend you to change it every 4 to 6 months depending on the use of the appliance and of the hardness of the water you are using.

The appliances are under warranty for a 2-year period from the purchase date. The warranty covers all failures resulting from hidden manufacturing or raw material defects. This warranty does not cover failures or damages resulting from an inadequate setup or usage, or from the normal wear and tear of the product. Spare parts are also available for a period of 2 years after the date of purchase.
