How to pair the Luna 50 speaker via Bluetooth?

Press the MODE or BLUE button on the speaker or remote control until 'BT' is displayed. Activate Bluetooth on your phone, search for devices and select BOOST-LUNA50. The range is 10 meters.

How to charge the speaker's battery?

Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. The battery charges even if the speaker is off. The charge indicator shows 1 to 3 bars. When fully charged, all 3 bars stay lit. Important: fully charge before first use and avoid letting the battery completely discharge.

Can I use a microphone with the speaker?

Yes, plug a microphone (6.35 mm jack) into the MIC input. Use the Mic Volume, Echo+/- and Mic Priority buttons to adjust the sound. The priority function reduces music volume when you speak.

How to connect a guitar?

Connect your guitar to the GUITAR input (6.35 mm jack) located on the top of the speaker. Adjust the master volume and mic volume if needed. An echo adjustment is available.

How to use a USB drive or microSD card?

Insert the USB drive or microSD card into the corresponding ports. Press MODE to select 'USB' or 'TF'. Playback starts automatically. Use the Previous, Next, Play/Pause buttons to control music.

How to adjust the equalizer?

The speaker has a 5-band equalizer. Use the Menu button and the +/- keys to adjust frequencies. Settings are displayed on the screen.

How to use the echo effect?

Press the Echo+ or Echo- keys on the speaker or remote control to increase or decrease the echo effect on the microphone. This is useful for singing or announcements.

How to replace the remote control batteries?

Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control. Insert 2 AAA (LR3) batteries respecting polarity. Warning: risk of explosion if battery is replaced incorrectly. Do not ingest batteries, keep out of reach of children.

How to change the LED lighting mode?

Press the LED key (or the lighting key on the remote control) to cycle through the different light animation modes. You can also turn the lighting on/off using the dedicated switch on the top.

What to do if the speaker does not turn on?

Check that the battery is charged or that the speaker is plugged into a power outlet. If the battery is completely discharged, let it charge for a few minutes before turning on. If the problem persists, contact customer service. Do not attempt to open the casing.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

1. Connect the mains power plug to an AC outlet and the built-in battery will start charging, no matter if the speaker is on or off. On the display, the battery charging symbol will run from 1 to 3 cells.
2. Once the battery is fully charged, it will display steadily 3 cells.

PLEASE NOTE: If the speaker has been switched into standby mode via the remote control, the built-in battery will NOT charge.

After 30 minutes of inactivity, the unit will switch automatically into standby mode.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES

1. PRIOR to using the unit for the first time, please charge fully the battery.
2. Charge the battery regularly after each use. Don't wait until it is discharged!
3. DON'T allow the battery to discharge completely! Once the battery is fully discharged, the 3. DON'T allow the battery to discharge completely, otherwise it will lose 20% of its capacity or even be totally damaged! If the voltage becomes too low, the internal circuits are not powered anymore and it will become impossible to recharge the battery!
4. If you don't use the unit for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge it at 40% of its capacity and check/charge it once per month. THE LIFE TIME OF THE BATTERY DEPENDS ON THE OBSERVANCE OF THESE RECOMMENDATIONS.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL

Remove the battery cover from the back of the remote control as shown and insert 2x AAA size batteries ensuring correct polarity

BLUETOOTH PAIRING PROCEDURE

Press MODE or Blue button on the unit or the remote control until BT is displayed.

1. Put the cell phone within 10 meters
2. Activate the BT search function on your cell phone to search for the BT device. Please refer to the user manual for details
3. Select BOOST-LUNA50 in the list of found devices.
4. Shortly press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play or pause the music. Shortly press the "▶" or "▶" button to select the previous or next track.

LINE IN MODE:

Press the MODE button on the unit or the remote control until LINE is selected. Play the music of the device connected to the LINE input.

USB MODE:

1. Press MODE to select "USB" and insert the USB device. The unit will automatically read and play the music in the USB device.
2. Press "▶ II" button shortly to pause or play.
3. Shortly press "▶" button to go to the previous song.
4. Shortly press "▶" button to go to the next song.
