How to install the appliance side-by-side with another?

Place the fridge on the left and the freezer on the right. Use the junction kit available from your retailer and stick the spacers to the four corners 5 cm from the lateral edges after degreasing the surfaces.

How to reverse the door opening direction?

It is recommended to entrust this operation to the after-sales service. Before any intervention, disconnect the appliance. Follow the order of the numbers in fig. 1 of the manual. Carefully lay the appliance on its back with a cushion.

How to change the door handle?

Follow the order of the numbers in fig. 4 of the manual. This operation is performed if necessary, depending on the model.

How to mount the wall spacers?

Mount the wall spacers to achieve the stated energy consumption. A smaller gap does not hinder operation but may slightly alter consumption.

How to adjust the appliance to make it level?

Place the appliance in the intended location, then adjust the two front screw feet with a fork wrench. Check the level with a spirit level to ensure a vertical position.

What distances must be observed from heat sources?

3 cm for electric or gas cookers, 30 cm for oil or coal heating appliances. Use an insulating panel if necessary.

Where to install the appliance?

In a dry and ventilated room, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The floor must be stable and level.

Can I install the appliance on an uneven floor?

Yes, by compensating for unevenness with shims under the appliance and adjusting the front screw feet. Make sure the appliance stands plumb.

How to degrease the surfaces before sticking the spacers?

Use a degreasing solvent or alcohol to carefully degrease the bonding areas on the right side of the fridge.

Can the appliance be laid on its back?

Yes, but with caution: place a cushioning material under the back to avoid damage. Note: do not mount the side wall spacer while the appliance is lying down.

Installation location

A dry, well ventilated room is suitable as an installation location. The installation location should not be exposed to direct sunlight and not placed near a heat source, e.g. a cooker, radiator, etc. If installation next to a heat source is unavoidable, use a suitable insulating plate or observe the following minimum distances from the heat source:

3 cm to electric or gas cookers.
30 cm to an oil or coal-fired cooker.

The floor of the installation location must not give way; if required, reinforce floor. If the floor is uneven, compensate with supports.

When installing the appliance, ensure that the door can be opened by 90^ .

When installing two appliances, ensure that the refrigerator is on the left and the freezer is on the right.

The right side panel of the refrigerator is heated slightly. This prevents condensation from forming between the appliances.

1. On the right side of the refrigerator, degrease the adhesive areas with petroleum ether or spirit.
2. Stick spacers in all four corners at a distance of 5cm from the side edges to ensure a minimum gap between the appliances.

Changing over the door hinges

We recommend that you have the door hinges changed over by our customer service. You can find out the costs for changing over the door hinges from your appropriate customer service.

Warning

While changing over the door hinges, ensure that the appliance is not connected to the power supply. Pull out the mains plug beforehand. To prevent damaging the back of the appliance, place adequate padding underneath. Carefully place the appliance on its back.

If available:

Fit wall spacers to obtain the indicated energy absorption of the appliance.

A reduced wall gap will not restrict the function of the appliance. The energy absorption may then change slightly.

Aligning the appliance

Place the appliance in the designated location and align. The appliance must be level. If the floor is uneven, use the front height-adjustable feet. Adjust the height-adjustable feet with a wrench.

Note

The appliance must be upright. Please align it with a spirit level.
