How to use the crushed ice function?

Place 12 to 15 ice cubes in the glass bowl. Press the Ice Crush button (C) in rapid succession without holding it down continuously.

Can I blend hot liquids or ingredients?

No, never pour liquids or ingredients exceeding 80°C. To mix hot ingredients, keep your hands away from the lid and measuring cap to avoid burns.

How to clean the blender?

Unplug the appliance. Clean the motor unit (A) with a damp cloth and dry it. Rinse the glass bowl and its accessories under running water. All accessories (bowl, lid, cap, blades) are dishwasher safe. Be careful with very sharp blades.

What to do if the blender does not start?

Check that the bowl is properly placed on the motor unit, that the speed selector (B) is on a position (1 or 2) and not on 0, and that the bowl is not filled above the maximum level (1.2 liters). If the problem persists, contact an authorized after-sales service.

Are the glass bowl and accessories dishwasher safe?

Yes, all accessories (glass bowl, lid, measuring cap, blade block) are dishwasher safe. However, the motor unit must never be immersed.

What is the maximum bowl capacity?

The maximum capacity is 1.2 liters. Do not exceed this level to avoid overflow and ensure optimal blending.

How to use the ice-stick?

Fill the reservoir with coarse salt up to the indicated level, then with cold water. Screw on the handle, shake to dissolve the salt, then place in the freezer for at least 12 hours. Insert the frozen ice-stick into the lid opening to cool your preparations. You can also use it as a pestle.

Can I blend frozen fruits or hard ingredients?

Yes, you can blend frozen fruits, but cut them into pieces first. The appliance is designed for crushed ice, but for very hard ingredients, use the Pulse function with short impulses.

How to change the blades?

The blades are not meant to be changed by the user. If damaged, contact an authorized center for replacement.

What is the warranty of the appliance?

The standard warranty is 2 years for household use. Any commercial or non-compliant use voids the warranty. Keep your proof of purchase.

Safety instructions

• Read the instructions for use carefully before using your blender for the first time, and follow them very closely. In the event of any use that does not comply with the instructions, the manufacturer shall accept no liability.
• Check that the power voltage for your blender corresponds to that of your mains installation.
• Any connection error renders the guarantee invalid.
• This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Always unplug your blender from the mains as soon as you have finished using it, when you clean it, or whenever there is a power cut. Do not unplug your appliance by pulling on the power cord.
• Use your blender on a work surface that is flat, stable, heat-resistant, clean and dry.
• Never place your fingers or any other object in the blender while the appliance is working.
• Handle the blades with extreme care, they may injure you as they are very sharp.
• Never put the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
• Do not leave the power cord within the reach of children, close to or in contact with the hot parts of your appliance, close to a heat source or a sharp edge, or in contact with the blades.
• Never use the blender without ingredients or with only dry products, and never pour boiling liquids into it.
• Do not place the accessories in a microwave oven.
• Do not leave long hair, scarves, ties, etc. dangling over the bowl and the accessories when they are working.
• Do not use your blender if it is not working properly, if it has been damaged or if the power cord or plug has been damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an approved after-sales service or a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid any danger.
• All repair work other than cleaning and basic maintenance by the customer must be done by an approved centre.
• Only use original accessories and components. We cannot accept any responsibility if this is not the case.

Caution: never pour or blend liquids or ingredients whose temperature is higher than 80^ C (176°F). When blending hot ingredients, keep hands well away from the lid and the measuring cup (D1) in order to avoid any risk of burning.

Using the blender for the first time

• Before using the blender for the first time, clean all accessories (D & E) in hot soapy water (except for the motor unit (A): see "Cleaning" §). Rinse and dry them carefully. Handle the blades with extreme care.
• Ensure that all packaging has been removed before using the blender.

Using the blender

• Lock the blade holder (D3) onto the glass jug (D2) by giving it a quarter turn anti-clockwise (1a, 1b).
• Place the blender jug (D) onto the motor unit (A) (1c).
• Place the food to be blended into the glass jug (D2), starting with the liquid ingredients first, never exceeding the maximum level (1.2 litre).
• Plug the appliance in, turn it on and choose the speed most suitable for your preparation using the speed selector switch (B).
• To stop the appliance, turn the speed selector switch (B) to 0.

The lid and its measuring cap (D1) must always be properly fitted when the appliance is working. To add ingredients while the blender is operating, insert them through the feeder hole in the lid.

Ice crushing

• Put some ice cubes into the glass jug (D) (12 to 15 ice cubes). There is no need to add water.
• Press the "Ice Crush" button (C) in quick succession but do not hold the button down.

Using the ice stick (E) (depending on model)

This accessory enables you to cool mixtures down, or keep them cool.

• Fill the container (E1) with coarse salt right up to the level indicated inside (2a). Then fill it with cold water (2b).
• Screw the handle (E2) of the container on very tightly (2c) and shake until the salt dissolves.
• Place the ice stick (E) in the deep freezer, preferably in an upright position, until the salt water mixture has frozen (12 hours minimum).
• Make your preparation in the blender, and then introduce the frozen ice stick (E) through the feeding hole in the lid. This will keep your mixture cooler.
• You can also use the ice-stick as a mixing stick to help mix up your preparations, by introducing it through the feeder hole in the lid.

Cleaning

• Unplug the blender and remove all the accessories.
• Wipe the motor unit (A) down with a damp cloth. Dry carefully.
• Never plunge the motor unit (A) under water.
• Rinse the glass (D) under running water, along with its accessories.
• Handle the blades with extreme care as they are very sharp.
• All the accessories are dishwasher-safe.

What to do if my blender doesn't work?

Start by checking the power cord and plug, then check:

• that the blender (D) is properly fitted onto the motor unit (A).
• that the speed selector switch (B) is in the right position.
• that the glass jug (D) has not been overfilled above the maximum level (1.2 litre)
