STANDARDS FOR SAFE FUNCTIONING

Before beginning to operate the pressure water washer, read the operating manual in its entirety and follow the instructions.

The warnings or indications affixed on the pressure water washer offer important recommendations for safe operations.

Observe the general safety standards in addition to the operating manual in order to prevent accidents.

Use appropriate protective equipment to use the washer: double insulated noise protection and safety glasses for eyes.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Discarded electrical products must not be thrown away with household garbage. This device must be brought to its local recycling center for safe processing.

WARNING

Palson recommends using specific special detergents for pressure cleaning. Using other chemical substances or more abrasive products can create serious harm or a lack of safety for the pressure water washer.

Do not aim the nozzle towards yourself or other people or animals when you use the washer.

Do not use the pressure washer without having fully read the instruction manual.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WHEN YOU USE THE PRESSURE WASHER ALWAYS OBSERVE THE ATTACHED DETAILED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

Pressure washers must not be used by children or employees who do not have training. This product is not authorized for child use or by other people without assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory, or mental state limits their safe use. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.

Note: When the high water pressure machine is activated, the high pressure water being released from the nozzle may cause a delay. Therefore, when the machine is activated, be sure to hold the nozzle/wand firmly. When a pressure washer is being used, other people should maintain a minimal distance of 10 meters away from the work area.

High pressure nozzles can be dangerous if used incorrectly. The nozzle must not be aimed at other people, animals, or equipment with electrical components or even at the washer itself.

Do not use for cleaning pools that contain water.

If an extension cord is used, it must be waterproof.

Note: Using the extension cord without proper safety is dangerous.

In order to ensure the pressure washer's safe functioning, only use original manufacturer replacement parts.

The device may be used with the supplied accessories. It is dangerous to use accessories or parts that are not supplied by the manufacturer.

Do not use the pressure washer if the power cable or other important parts are damaged (for example, safety devices, high pressure hoses or the wand).

Keep the hose connected to the pressure water washer while it is in use. Disconnect the hose while the device is in operation: it is even dangerous keeping the activation switch in the "0" position (off). Before disconnecting the hose, it is necessary to depressurize the washer.

Do not use corrosive or flammable liquids in the machine.

Never try to touch the electric outlet with damp hands.

To ensure safety, only use manufacturer supplied parts.

Do not step on, put pressure on, or pull the electrical cable to avoid damage to it. Keep the electrical cable away from heat sources, oil, and sharp edges.

The power connection cable must be kept away from splashing water areas. Never submerge the plug in water or any other liquid. The high pressure hose must be kept in perfect condition (otherwise there will be a danger of explosion). A damaged high pressure hose must be replaced immediately.

Only the manufacturer supplied water hose and connection can be used.

Disconnect the device before handling it.

Check that the power supply always corresponds to the indicated voltage in the product plate. It is preferable to connect the machine to the outlet with a 30mA grounded protective switch at a maximum.

If the electrical cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized technical service, or by a qualified technician, with the goal of avoiding danger.

WHAT IS A PRESSURE WATER WASHER?

A pressure water washer is essentially an electric motor that conducts a piston unit that makes water pass through a small nozzle.

A pressurized jet of water is created in this way. This provides enormous cleaning power.

A pressure water washer can be used for multiple tasks at home and in the garden. It offers an efficient method of cleaning different types of surfaces without any effort. All water pressure washers (apart from hot water systems) are designed to function with a cold water supply at least at 50^ . This water pressure washer can work in an effective manner with water temperatures from 5^ - 50^ .

APPLICATIONS

Main applications for this device are domestic cleaning tasks such as:

Cars, motorcycles, caravans, boats and bikes.
- Patios, fences, garden walls, paths, driveways and walls.
- Removing stains and mildew from roofs, brickwork and gutters.
- Cleaning garden tools and machinery, furniture and barbecues.

DESCRIPTION

Your pressure water washer has been designed for outside use and only for cleaning stone, pottery, stoneware, glass, metal and plastic materials.

Check the suitability of the cleaning surface. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage caused by inappropriate use.

Before assembly / disassembly of the product, make sure it is unplugged from the outlet.

WAND ASSEMBLY (DIAGRAM A)

Connect the wand and the pistol (6 and 7) by pushing the bayonet into the nozzle (6) towards the cap of the pistol (7) and mounting it in position (turning it clockwise until its position is blocked). Assembly must be carried out before using the pressure water washer. Be sure that both parts are firmly connected with each other. Otherwise, the wand could come off the pistol.

Always remove or replace parts while the pressure water washer is disconnected and unplugged from outlet power.

WATER OUTLET CONNECTION (DIAGRAM B)

Screw the high pressure hose (5) in the water outlet (4).

Be sure the connector is firmly affixed (but not tightened excessively).

The minimum supply hose length (not included) advised for maximum user comfort is 5 meters with a 12.5 (1/2") mm diameter to prevent delay pressure and any potential damage associated with the pressure water washer.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Connect the supplied hose to the water outlet (Diagram B).
2. Connect the plug to a grounded outlet.
3. Fully open the water faucet, do not activate the pressure water washer yet.

Never begin the pressure water washer's operation without supplying connected water. Keep the pistol trigger tightened (7) until all the water pressure air and water begin to flow. As soon as the water begins to flow out from the nozzle continually, release the trigger. Now the pressure water washer has been primed with water.

1. Set the power switch in the "I" position (on).

Never try to open the pressure water cleaner's cover during operation.

CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION

In order to activate the pressure water cleaner, select "I" in the on/off switch.

In order to deactivate the pressure water washer, select "0" in the on/off switch.

In a dangerous setting, the pertinent safety standards must be observed to set the water washer in operation. Using the water washer in an area where there could be a danger of explosion is prohibited.

Do not inject water into materials containing asbestos or other harmful substances.

Never use liquid containing organic solvent, acid or solvent, including gasoline, paint or oil, whose vapors are extremely flammable, explosive, or toxic. Furthermore, acetone, acids, solvents, etc are corrosive to the water washer.

In the case of breaking during use greater than two minutes, be sure to deactivate the pressure water washer's power in order to avoid harm.

WATER PRESSURE WASHER FUNCTIONING (DIAGRAM C)

Its spray wand has two main settings. These settings can be changed when turning the nozzle's adaptor found on the end of the water wand outlet (6).

Turn the nozzle clockwise for a flat stream or in the opposite direction for a more concentrated stream.

Always be sure that the trigger is closed and the pressure water cleaner is disconnected before changing the nozzle settings.

WHEN YOU USE THE PRESSURE WATER CLEANER IN HIGH PRESSURE SETTINGS, THE RECOMMENDED WORK DISTANCE BETWEEN THE NOZZLE AND THE OBJECT OR SURFACE TO CLEAN IS 30 CM.

IT MAY BE LESS IF REQUIRED FOR PATIOS OR MASONRY.

Aim the wand towards the object to be cleaned, ensuring that the recommended work distance is maintained. Tighten the wand's trigger until the water begins to flow. Then activate the pressure water washer.

The pressure water washer stream is capable of carrying out the majority of the cleaning tasks for gardening or construction but the use of detergent is advantageous when vehicles are cleaned or other paint finishing are carried out.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DETERGENT USE (DIAGRAM E)

1. Remove the receptacle from the detergent, fill it completely with soap or detergent and put it in the machine again.
2. Remove the pistol's safety.
3. Tighten the trigger to set the machine in operation.
4. Turn the start switch to the "l" on position.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING

The high pressure hose connection is a very important part of the pressure water washer. Use the manufacturer supplied hose and always try to connect it firmly to the washer. Also try to assemble the pistol wand in a safe manner. In the case of the pistol's abnormal operation, loss of water, hole in the hose, etc., washer operations must be stopped immediately and it must be taken to the closest Authorized Technical Service.

The washer is equipped with a safety valve that frees pressure in case of overpressure in the circuit. In case this valve enters into the operations, do not touch it. Do not handle or disassemble such valve.

The water washer must be deactivated and disconnected from the electrical outlet before cleaning, maintenance, and replacement of its components. Repairs should be carried out only at the authorized Technical Service.

In order to guarantee an extended useful life and use without problems from the pressure water washer, we strongly recommend carrying out regular maintenance in the following manner:

Nozzle: visual check to see if the nozzle is blocked by sand or dirt. If so, remove the dirt with the provided cleaning tool. Then rinse with clean water on the outside.

Water connection: After approximately 30 minutes of running, remove the filter in line with the water intake (2) (DIAGRAM D) and check for obstructions. If there are any, flush out and clean the filter.

IMPORTANT

Note that frost may damage your pressure washer if it has not been fully emptied of water after use. Always keep it in a location protected from frost.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you have a problem, first check the following table.

If the methods indicated cannot solve the problem, bring the water washer, packaging, and stamped warranty to the retail store or Authorized Technical Service to get help.
