• All Bébé Confort products have been carefully designed and tested for your baby’s safety and comfort. Use only accessories sold or approved by Bébé Confort. Using other accessories may prove to be dangerous.
• Please read these instructions carefully and make yourself familiar with the product before using it.
• Always keep the instructions for future reference; there is a storage compartment specifically provided on the child seat.
• During installation of MiloFix on your seat, use the bar in the front of MiloFix in order to insert

your MiloFix at the maximum. Make an alternavie movement on the left and on the right. The Bébé Confort MiloFix car seat in the car:

• SEMI-UNIVERSAL ISOFIX SYSTEM in rearward facing position (Gr0+ / 0-13 kg), class size C,D,E.
• Before using the ISOFIX anchorage system, you must IMPERATIVELY read the instruction manual of the vehicle, before installing your child car seat. This manual will indicate the places compatible with the class size of the car seat, SEMI-UNIVERSAL, UNIVERSAL ISOFIX approved.
• UNIVERSAL ISOFIX SYSTEM in forward facing position (Gr1 / 9-18 kg), class size B1. Baby in the Bébé Confort MiloFix car seat:
• In the rear-facing position, the MiloFix car seat is automatically placed in the maximum reclining position, therefore, the angle of recline handle cannot be used for safety reason.
• Never leave a child unsupervised.
• Never leave the child alone in the car.
• Even a gentle impact on a vehicle can turn a child into a projectile.
• For your own safety and that of your child, always put the child in the child car seat, however short your journey may be.
• Ensure that the straps under the stomach lie as low as possible, to properly support the pelvis.
• The temperature inside a vehicle may become very high, particularly after a long period of exposure to the sun. It is strongly recommended, under such conditions, to cover the seat of

the car with a piece of material or something equivalent to prevent the harness fixings, and in particular the metal parts, from becoming hot and burning the child.

• After putting your child in the seat, ensure that the harness straps are properly tight. Also ensure that the strap is not twisted.
• After putting the child in the car seat, ensure that the harness is sufficiently taut by pulling the belt. Ensure also that the belt does not become twisted.

never combine two ISOFIX anchorage and car seat belt systems to install your child car seat. ATTENTION: in ISOFIX use the fitting clips for lower anchorage to the vehicle is not sufficient. It is essential to fix the “Top Tether” to the upper anchorage point recommended by the car manufacturer. “Fitting the MiloFix seat with additional tethers using the vehicle’s ISOFIX additional anchorage points. The ISOFIX anchors have been developed to obtain a safe and easy fixation of the child safety systems inside the car. Not all cars are equipped with these anchors although they are standard on more recent models. Consult the attached list of cars for which the car seat can be installed correctly (you can also consult additional updates of this list on the website www.bebeconfort.com)”

• In rear-facing position (GR0+), this product must not be installed to places equipped with a frontal air bag. You might be able to deactivate it (see your car manual). In this case, if you can deactivate the air bag, you can use the car seat on the front seat.
• In forward facing position (GR1), the seat must be placed on the car rear seat or exceptionally on the front seat in accordance with the legislation in force in the country of use (In France: in accordance with the conditions stipulated in decree n° 91-1321 du 27-12-1991). If you use the MiloFix on the front seat, it should be possible to deactivate the airbag of the seat in question or move the passenger seat back to a maximum (Please consult your car manual). “• When installing the seat in the rear-facing position, the belt of the top tether can turn one quarter turn according to the position of the anchorage point. This does not impair the proper operation of the product.
• When installing the car seat, it is necessary to remove the headrest in order to put the top tether through correctly.
• Warning: when installing the car seat, spaces between the base of the car seat and the vehicle seat are possible depending on the position of the anchorage points within the vehicle.
• It is essential that the car seat be replaced after an accident.
• The user must always check that any luggage and other objects likely to cause injury to the occupant of the car seat in the case of impact are properly secured.

• The rigid parts and the plastic sections of a child restraint device should be positioned and installed in such a way that they cannot, when the vehicle is being used under normal conditions, become trapped under a moving seat or in the vehicle door.
• Never modify the construction or the materials of the car seat and the seat belt without consulting the manufacturer.
• Do not use the child restraint device without the cover. Do not replace the seat cover with a cover other than that recommended by the manufacturer, because it will have a direct effect on the functioning of the child restraint.
• This child restraint is effective only if the instructions for use are respected.
• Always fasten the child restraint even when the child is not sitting in it.
• Never place heavy objects on the rear parcel shelf, to avoid the danger of projectiles in the event of an accident.
• Always check that no part of the seat or the harness is trapped under a seat or in the vehicle door.
• Folding seats must always be locked in place.
• After purchasing, install the seat in your vehicle. If you encounter any installation problems due to the length of the vehicle seat belt, contact your distributor immediately.
• If in any doubt about the correct installation or use of the system, the user is advised to contact the distributor or the manufacturer of the child restraining device system.

• Before cleaning check the label sewn into the fabric, you will find the wash symbols indicating the method of washing each item. Washing symbols : Shoulder pads:
• After safety reasons, shoulder pads are not removable. Clean it by using a damp cloth. Shell:
• Clean the shell using a damp cloth. Environment Keep plastic covering away from children to avoid suffocation. For environmental reasons, when you have stopped using this product, we ask that you dispose of the product in the proper waste facilities in accordance with local legislation. Warranty We guarantee that this product has been manufactured in accordance with European safety standards and quality requirements in force at the present time and that, at the time of its purchase by the retailer, this product was exempt from any defect of composition and manufacture. During its production process, this product was also subjected to various quality controls. If, in spite of all our efforts, a material and/or manufacturing defect should occur during the warranty period of 24 months (used normally and in accordance with the instructions), we undertake to respect the warranty conditions. The warranty does not apply in the following cases :

• When the product has been used for a purpose other than that provided for in the instructions for use.
• When the product has been repaired by a non-approved supplier.
• When the product is not returned to the manufacturer with the original till receipt (issued by the retailer and/or importer).
• When repairs have been carried out by a third party or a non-approved retailer.

• When the defect was caused by incorrect or insufficient use or maintenance, neglect or impacts at the level of the textile and/or chassis.
• When it is a case of normal wear of the parts, such as can be expected from daily use (wheels, rotating and moving parts, etc.) When does the warranty come into effect ? The warranty period starts on the purchase date of the product. For how long ? For a period of 24 consecutive months. The warranty is only valid for the first owner and is not transferrable. What should you do ? When buying the product, please keep the original till receipt safely. The purchase date must be clearly visible. In the event of problems or defects, please refer to the retailer. No exchange or refund can be demanded. Repairs do not entail the extension of the warranty period. The products which are not returned directly to the manufacturer are not covered by the warranty. This warranty clause is in conformity with the European directive 99/44/CE of May 25th 1999.
