Congratulations on your purchase. For the maximum protection and comfort of your child, it is essential that you read through the entire manual carefully and follow all instructions.

Safety General instructions Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 1. You are personally responsible for the safety of your child at all times. 2. Never hold your child on your lap when driving. 3. The Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 is for car use only. 4. Do not use second-hand products whose history is unknown. 5. Replace the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 after an accident. 6. Read this instruction manual carefully and keep it in the storage space under the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2.

Warning: Correct fitting of the car seat belt is essential for the safety of your child. The car seat belt must be installed following the red parts of the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2. NEVER fit the seat belt in a way other than described. Warning: Do not make any changes to the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2, as this could lead to unsafe situations. Maintenance instructions Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 1. Use the original cover only, since it is part of the safety features of this product. 2. The foam parts of the headrest and backrest may not be removed. 3. Clean the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 regularly with lukewarm water, soap and a soft cloth. Do not use any lubricants or aggressive cleaning agents on this product. The Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 has been approved in accordance with the latest European safety standards (ECE R44/04) and is suitable for children from 15 to 36 kg (approx. 3,5 years, with a maximum height of 1,50 m).

EN Your child in the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 1. Never leave your child unattended. 2. Always secure your child with the seat belt. 3. Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the proper height. 4. Before every use, make sure the seat belt is not damaged or twisted. 5. Remove all objects from the child’s coat and trouser pockets so they cannot get stuck between the child and the seat belt. Such objects could cause injury in case of an accident. 6. Tell your child not to play with the seat belt buckle and to keep its head against the headrest. Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 in the car 1. Use the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 only on a front-facing seat that is fitted with an automatic or static 3-point belt that has been approved according to the ECE R16 standard or similar. Do NOT use a 2-point belt. 2. Make sure the car seat can be installed properly in your car before purchasing it. 3. Always fully install the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 with the car seat belt, even if there is no child in it. 4. Deactivate the airbag if using the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 on the front passenger seat. If this is not possible, place the passenger seat in the rearmost position.

5. R emove the car seat headrest if it stops you from adjusting the headrest of the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 to the desired height. 6. Always install both components of the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2: seat + back support. 7. Make sure that fold-down rear seats are locked into position and that the back rest of the car seat is upright position. 8. Prevent the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats and/or slamming doors. 9. Make sure all luggage and other loose objects are secured. 10. Always cover the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 when exposed to direct sunlight in the car. Otherwise, the cover may discolour and plastic parts may become too hot for your child’s skin. Warning: The Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 must only be installed in the car in a forward-facing position.

Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of your child to avoid the risk of suffocation. For environmental reasons, when you have stopped using this product, we ask that you dispose of the product in the proper waste facilities in accordance with local legislation.

We guarantee that this product was manufactured in accordance with the current European safety requirements and quality standards which are applicable to this product, and that this product is free from defects in workmanship and material at the time of purchase. During the production process the product was subjected to various quality checks. If this product, despite our efforts, shows a material/ manufacturing fault within the warranty period of 24 months, (with normal use as described in the user instructions) we will comply with the warranty terms and conditions. Questions If you have any questions, contact your local Bébé Confort retailer (see www.bebeconfort.com for contact information). Make sure that you have the following information on hand: - Serial number on the orange ECE sticker at the bottom of the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 base; - Car make and model and seat on which the Bébé Confort Rodi XP 2 is used; - Age, height and weight of your child.

The warranty is not valid in the following cases: • In case of a use or purpose other than described in the manual. • If the product is submitted for repair through a dealer that is not authorized by us. • If the product is not supplied to the manufacturer with the original purchase receipt (via the retailer and/or importer). • If repairs were carried out by third parties or a dealer that is not authorized by us.

If the defect is the result of improper or careless use or maintenance, negligence or impact damage to the fabric cover and/or frame. If the parts show normal wear and tear that may be expected from daily use of a product (rotating and moving parts etc.)

Date of effect: The warranty becomes effective on the date the product is purchased. Warranty term: The warranty period applies for a period of 24 consecutive months. The warranty only applies for the first owner and is not transferable.

EN What to do in case of defects: After purchasing the product, keep the purchase receipt. The date of purchase must be clearly visible on the receipt. Should problems or defects arise please contact your retailer. Exchanging or taking back the product cannot be requested. Repairs do not give entitlement to extension of the warranty. Products that are returned directly to the manufacturer are not eligible for warranty.
