General Bébé Confort Pebble instructions 1. You are personally responsible for the safety of your baby at all times. 2. Never hold your baby on your lap when driving. 3. Do not use the Bébé Confort Pebble for more than 5 years.
4. D o not use second-hand products where the history is unknown.
5. Replace the Bébé Confort Pebble after an accident. 6. Read this instruction manual carefully and keep it in the storage compartment in the Bébé Confort Pebble. Warning: Do not make any changes to the Bébé Confort Pebble whatsoever, as this could affect the performance of the car seat and render it unsafe. Warning: Do not use this car seat as a bouncer seat. Bébé Confort Pebble maintenance instructions 1. The cover, cushions and belt pads of the Bébé Confort Pebble can be removed in order for these to be cleaned. They can be machine-washed. The flexible plastic edge can be cleaned with water, soap and a soft cloth. 2. If the cover needs to be replaced at any time, only use official Bébé Confort fabrics. 3. The Bébé Confort Pebble must undergo regular maintenance. Do not use lubricants or aggressive cleaning agents. The Bébé Confort Pebble and your baby 1. Never leave your baby unattended. 2. Always secure your baby with the harness belt.
3. B efore every use, make sure the harness is not damaged or twisted.
4. Make sure you can fit no more than one finger between the harness and your baby (1cm). 5. Only use the headrest of the Bébé Confort Pebble when the shoulder belts are in the lowest position.
8. T he car safety belt must be threaded along all blue markings. For proper installation instructions, see pages 8-9 and/or the sticker on the side of the Bébé Confort Pebble.
9. Always cover the Bébé Confort Pebble when exposed to direct sunlight in the car. Otherwise, the cover, metal and plastic parts could become too hot for your child’s skin.
Warning: Never place the Bébé Confort Pebble on an elevated surface (such as a table or chair).
Warning: The Bébé Confort Pebble may only be installed in a rear-facing position in the car.
Bébé Confort Pebble car use
1. Always check to make sure the car seat can be installed properly in your car before purchasing it. 2. Make sure the fold-down rear seat is locked into position. 3. Prevent the Bébé Confort Pebble from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats and/or slamming doors. 4. Make sure that all luggage and other loose objects are secure. 5. The safest place for your baby is the rear of your vehicle, however if you need to install the seat in the front passenger seat, please ensure that any airbag is deactivated. 6. Only use a forward-facing seat that is fitted with a 3-point safety belt that complies with the ECE R16 standard (at a minimum). 7. Make sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a straight line and stays below the belt hook of the Bébé Confort Pebble. See the p.8 example.
Bébé Confort Pebble in aeroplanes
• Installing the Bébé Confort Pebble with a 2-point safety belt is only allowed when used in an aircraft. • In an aircraft, the Bébé Confort Pebble may only be used on forward-facing passenger seats.
Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of your child to avoid the risk of suffocation.

For environmental reasons, when you have stopped using this product, we ask that you dispose of the product in the proper waste facilities in accordance with local legislation.
We guarantee that this product was manufactured in accordance with the current European safety requirements and quality standards which are applicable to this product, and that this product is free from defects in workmanship and material at the time of purchase. During the production process the product was subjected to various quality checks. If this product, despite our efforts, shows a material/manufacturing fault within the warranty period of 24 months, (with normal use as described in the user instructions) we will comply with the warranty terms and conditions. In this case please contact your dealer. For extensive information on applying the warranty terms and conditions, you can contact the dealer or look on our website: www.bebeconfort.com. The warranty is not valid in the following cases: • In case of a use or purpose other than described in the manual. • If the product is submitted for repair through a dealer that is not authorized by us. • If the product is not supplied to the manufacturer with the original purchase receipt (via the retailer and/or importer). • If repairs were carried out by third parties or a dealer that is not authorized by us.
If the defect is the result of improper or careless use or maintenance, negligence or impact damage to the fabric cover and/or frame.
If the parts show normal wear and tear that may be expected from daily use of a product (wheels, rotating and moving parts etc.)
The warranty becomes effective on the date the product is purchased. Warranty term: The warranty period applies for a period of 24 consecutive months. The warranty only applies for the first owner and is not transferable. What to do in case of defects: After purchasing the product, keep the purchase receipt. The date of purchase must be clearly visible on the receipt. Should problems or defects arise please contact your retailer. Exchanging or taking back the product cannot be requested. Repairs do not give entitlement to extension of the warranty. Products that are returned directly to the manufacturer are not eligible for warranty. This Warranty Clause conforms to European
