How to attach the whisks or dough hooks?

Insert the accessories from underneath the appliance, turning slightly until they click into place. Note: the dough hooks and whisks are marked and must be inserted into the right opening of the mixer.

Which speed to use for whipped cream?

Use the whisks at setting 1 or 5 for a maximum of 5 minutes. For best results, gradually increase the speed.

How long can I use the appliance continuously?

Do not exceed 5 minutes of continuous operation. Then let the appliance cool for about 10 minutes before using again. In Turbo mode, do not exceed 2 minutes.

How to clean the appliance?

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth without abrasive detergent. The accessories (whisks and hooks) can be washed in soapy water.

Can I mix hot foods?

It is not recommended to mix very hot foods. Only use the appliance for food products at room temperature or cold.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

Check that the speed selector is set to a position other than 0/Off and that the appliance is plugged into a 230V outlet. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to use the Turbo function?

Press the Turbo (1) button for short bursts at very high speed. Use it intermittently for a pulse effect. Do not exceed 2 minutes of continuous use.

Are the accessories dishwasher safe?

The manual does not specify. It is recommended to wash the accessories by hand in soapy water to preserve their lifespan.

What is the warranty on the appliance?

CLATRONIC offers a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. Keep your receipt.

Can I use the appliance to knead bread dough?

Yes, use the dough hooks at setting 1 or 2 for a maximum of 3 minutes for thick dough (300 g max). For heavier doughs, use a stand mixer.

• Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not put it in water.
• When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
• Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).
• To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
• Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.

Special Safety Instructions for this Machine

• Do not touch any moving parts of the machine and always wait for it to stop.
• In order to avoid splashing, always insert the rods fully into the food being mixed before you switch the mixer on.
  Only mix or whisk food with this machine.
• Do not operate the mixer for more than 5 minutes! Then let it cool down for approximately 10 minutes before using it again!

Initial Operation

Ensure that the machine is not connected to the mains.

Assembly of the Whisk/Kneading Hook/Beater

Press the two whisks or kneading hooks on the bottom by turning slightly until they lock in place.

Note: The kneading hook/whisk must be inserted into the correct opening of the mixer!

Using the Machine

1. Please ensure that the speed switch (2) is turned to "0/OFF".
2. Connect the mixer to a properly installed power socket, 230V,50Hz

Always choose a utensil and a speed according to the following table

Note:

For optimum results use high-walled vessels that are not too large. Tilt the machine slightly up and down.

Turbo Switch (1)

This is for switching to maximum speed for a short time. Press at short intervals for pulsed mode operation.

WARNING: Do not use this function for more than 2 minutes!

Releasing the kneading hook / whisk

• Ensure that the machine is not connected to the mains.
  In order to release the hook, press the release button (3).

Cleaning

1. Before cleaning the equipment, always remove the mains plug from the socket.
2. Only a damp cloth should be used for cleaning the outside of the machine.
3. Do not use any caustic or abrasive detergents.
4. Removable parts that have been in contact with the dough or mixture (kneading utensil and whisk) can be cleaned in soapy water.
