How to turn on the HL 2770 heater?

Turn the function selector to LO or HI. The indicator light turns on. Set the thermostat to the desired level.

How to set the desired temperature?

Turn the thermostat to the highest setting. When the desired temperature is reached, slowly turn the thermostat back until the appliance stops. The thermostat then maintains that temperature.

How to use the cold air function (fan)?

Set the function selector to '0', then turn the thermostat to HI. The appliance will then operate in fan mode without heating.

What to do if the heater switches off automatically?

This is probably the overheat protection. Set the selector to '0', unplug the appliance and let it cool down for about 10 minutes before reuse. If the shutdown recurs, contact a qualified technician.

7. Do not use this heater in the direct vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool. Never operate the heater when you are in any of the above. Keep a safety distance of 60 centimetres.

Initial Operation

1. Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety socket, 230V / 50Hz
2. Make sure that the degree of protection of the socket to which the device is connected is of at least 10 ampere!
3. Place the device on any heat-resistant flat surface. Ensure that air can enter and leave unhindered. The distance from the air inlet and outlet grill to the nearest wall should be at least 20 centimetres.
4. The indicator light lights up when the unit is in operation.
5. After use, pull the plug out of the socket.

• You can set the room temperature with the temperature control.

• Turn the thermostat control knob to the highest level. The LED will light up.
• Once the desired room temperature is reached, turn the thermostat control knob slowly back until the device shuts off. The thermostat maintains the set room temperature by switching the device on and off.

Cold air operation:

If you would like to use the machine as a ventilator, move the function switch to and turn the temperature regulator to the HI position.

Overheating Protection

The device is equipped with an overheating protection that switches the device automatically off in case of overheating. Shift the function switch to "0" position and pull out plug out of the socket. Let the device cool down for about 10 minutes before using it again.

Should the overheating protection shut the device off again shortly after, there is probably a defect. Switch off the device again and pull out the plug. Let the device be checked by an authorized dealer or by our customer service (or contact your dealer).

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Before cleaning the machine you should always remove the mains lead and wait until the machine has cooled down. The machine should only be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Do not use any strong detergents or solvents for cleaning.

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
