Thank you for purchasing the Jabra BT620s Bluetooth® Headset. We hope you enjoy it! This instruction manual will get you started, and ready to make the most of your headset.

E Remember, driving comes first, not the call!

Using a mobile phone while driving can distract you and may increase the likelihood of an accident. I driving in bad weather high traffic density, with children in the car, or under difficult road conditions, pull off the road and park before making or answering all. Also, try to keep conversations short and do not take notes or read documents.

Use of this headset with both ears covered while driving is not permitted in certain states.

Remember: Always drive safely, avoid distractions and follow local laws.

Avoid using headphones with the volume turned up for an extended period of time. Doing so may damage your hearing. is advisable to keep the volume at a moderate level at al times.

HE GETTING STARTED The Jabra BT620s is easy to operate. The buttons performs different functions depending on how long you press them.

l Duration of press:

Tap Press briefly and let go Press Approx 1 second

E Charging your headset

Make sure that your JABRA BT6205 is fully charged for two hours before you start using it. Use only the chargers provided in the box - do not use chargers from any other devices 25 this might damage your Jabra BT620s.

Connect the headset as shown in fig. 2 to the AC power supply to charge from a power socket or charge directly from your PC with the USB cable provided. When the indicator lights are solid red, your headset is charging. When the lights turn to green, the headset is fully charged.

[2 | Turning the blue lights off and on

You can turn the blue lights on or off on the headiset by pressing and holding both the play/pause/stop button and answer/end button simultaneously. When the headset is charged the lights wil| be on again.

E Turning on your headset

Press the answer/end button to turn on your headset - when the headset is on the LED indicator light will flash four times.

+ Press and hold the answer/end button to turn the device off. The LED indicator light will flash four times. To turn off the headset press and hold the answer/end button till the LED indicator light flashes four times.

E Pairing with a phone or other device

Before you use your Jabra BT620s you must pair it up with a mobile phone or/and another Bluetooth enabled device.

1. Putthe headset into pairing mode: + Make sure headset is turned off. + Press and hold the answer/end button until the indicator light is solid blue.

2. Set your mobile phone or other device to ‘discover’the Jabra BT620s. Follow your phone‘ instruction guide. This usually involves going to a "setup" “connect'or “Bluetooth” menu on your phone and selecting the option to discover or add a Bluetooth device. (See example from typical mobile phone in fig. 3)

3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT620s. Your phone or other device will ask if you want to pair with it. Accept with “Yes” or “ok”and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros).

Your phone or other device will confirm when pairing is complete. In case of unsuccessful pairing repeat steps 1 to 3.

E Connecting with a second device

You can connect your BT620s with two devices to enable music playing and phone connectivity at the same time.

Please note that two devices can be connected at the same time only ifthey are using different profiles. When one profil is being used by one device, it cannot be used by another. After having paired the Jabra BT620s with your mobile phone, the headset needs to be paired with your music player or PC (see Section 90n using with a PC). The music player will be paired with the A2DP and the AVRCP profile, so you can use the remote control and the music features (it supports these profiles). The phone will be paired with the headset/hands-free profiles (depending on which profiles the phone supports) so you can use the phone features, To start, put the headset in pairing mode, then follow the user guide for your MP3/music player or Bluetooth stereo adapter for details regarding pairing/connecting a second device.

6 | Wearing your Jabra BT620s

Your Jabra BT620s is designed to be comfortably worn with the neckband behind your head. The microphone is integrated in the right earpiece. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) enahances clarity of voice pickup.

Answer a call Tap the answer/end button on your headset to answer a call when the phone is ringing. To transfer the call to your headset, tp the answer/end button on the headset once (depending on your phone)

End a cal Tap the answer/end button to end an active call.

Press the answer/end button when the phone rings to reject an incoming call. Depending on your phone settings, the person who called you il either be forwarded to voice mail or hear the busy signal.

When you make a call from your mobile phone, the cal will automatically be transferred to your headset when connected (subject to phone settings).

Activate voice dialing*

Tap the answer end button and speak the name. For best results, record the voice-dialing tag when you are wearing the headset. Please consult your phone user manual for more information on using this feature.

Redial last number* Press the answer/end button.

Call waiting and placing a call on hold*

This lets you put a call on hold during conversation to answer an incoming call.

+ Press the answer/end button once to put the active call on hold and answer the incoming call

+ Press the answer/end button to switch between the two call.

+ Tap the answer/end button to end the active conversation.

Adjust sound and volume Press the volume up or down (+ or -) to adjust the volume. (See fig. 1)

#Device dependent E How to play music in stereo

Your Jabra BT620 realizes its full potential when connected via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth stereo device. The buttons on the right-hand side of your Jabra BT620s are used for playing music in stereo. They work when the device you have connected to supports the Bluetooth remote control (AVRCP) profil. (See Glossary, page 13)

The prominent center button on the right side of the device is the play button. On the top there are the skip forward Be and skip back | buttons.

To start play ap the play button once.

To pause ap the play button - tap again to resume playing.

To stop Press the Play button.

Answer a call when playing music* ap the answer/end button to pause the music and the call will be connected. The music will resume after the cal has ended (depending on the device supporting this feature).

Skip one track forward ap the skip forward button > 1- Continue tapping to skip several tracks forward

Skip one track back ap the skip back button | 4- Continue tapping to skip several tracks backwardl.

Fast forward” Press and hold the skip forward button.

Fast rewind* Press and hold the skip back button.

Lo | Using the Jabra BT620s with your PC You can connect your Jabra BT620s with your PC for listening to music or using VolP communication using a Bluetooth USB stereo adapter, such as the Jabra A320s. For further details on compatibility and how to connect, please visit wwwjabra.com/bt620s

Ho Using the headset with the USB cable

You can listen to stereo music by connecting the USB cable to a PC that plays in stereo. The headset will charge at the same time but at a slower rate than normal.

1. Attach the USB cable to the device and your PC.

2. Wait 10 seconds and than press the answer/end and play/pause buttons simultaneously.

hear crackling noises Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it is sensitive to objects between the headset and the connected device. is designed for the headset and the connected device to be used within 10 meters (33 feet) of each other, with no major objects in the weay (wall, etc).

I cannot hear anything in the headset Increase the volume in the headset.

Ensure that the headset is paired to a device that is playing.

Make sure your phone is connected to the headset by checking the phones menu or by tapping the answer/end button.

have pairing problems You may have deleted the pairing connection in your mobile phone. Follow the pairing instructions in section 3.

have problems streaming in stereo from another device (PC, MP3-player etc.) Make sure the other device supports Bluetooth 1.1 or 1.2 and that the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) is active, or it will not work. Please consult the other device's manual for how to pair to a headset.

I can hear stereo but the music control buttons do not work The connected device must support the Bluetooth profile for remote control, AVRCP to make the music control buttons work. Try to re-connect.

I cannot use reject call, call on hold, redial or voice dialing These features are dependent on the ability of your phone to support a hands-free profile. Please consult your phone manual for details

Will it be possible to listen to radio on my phone with the Jabra BT6205? Being able to listen to radio via Bluetooth depends on your phone. Most of the mobile phones currently on the market require a corded headset that uses the cord as an antenna.

ŒE Taking care of your headset

+ Always store the Jabra BT620s in a safe place with the power off.

+ Avoid storage at extreme temperatures [above 45*C/113*F, including direct sunlight, or below -10*C/14°F). This can shorten battery life and may affect operation. High temperatures may also degrade performance. Low temperatures (down to -10C/114F) will shorten battery life and may affect operation but should not permanently damage the Jabra BT620s.

+ Do not expose the Jabra BT6205 to rain or moisture.

Jabra warrants to Purchaser that for a period of one (1) year after the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”) of any Jabra Product Product") by Purchaser, the Product will substantially conform to Jabra's published specifications for the Product on the date of Purchaser’s purchase ofthe Product, subject to the terms herein. Bluetooth is a radio technology that connects devices, such as mobile phones and headsets, without wires or cords over a short distance (approx. 33 feet). Get more information at www bluetooth.com.

Bluetooth profiles are the different ways that Bluetooth devices communicate with other devices. Bluetooth phones support either the headset profile, the hands-free profile or both. In order to support a certain profile, a phone manufacturer must implement certain mandatory features within the phone's software.

Pairing creates a unique and encrypted link between two Bluetooth devices and lets them communicate with each other. Bluetooth devices will not work if the devices have not been paired.

Passkey or PIN is a code that you enter on your mobile phone to pair it with your Jabra BT6205. This makes your phone and the Jabra BT620s recognize each other and automatically work together.

Standby mode is when the Jabra BT620s is passively waiting for a call. When you “end'a call on your mobile phone, the headset goes into standby mode.

A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) is a Bluetooth profile that enables stereo sound. Both the headset and the device it connects to must support A2DP in order to hear A2DP sound in the headset.

AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) is a Bluetooth profile that enables remote control of the device that the headset is connected to. Both the headset and the device it connects to must support AVRCP in order for AVRCP to work.
