Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for use in commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, farms, hotels, motels, and offices.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age when the appliance is plugged into a mains socket or when it is cooling down.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is hot, plugged into an outlet, or on the ironing board.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains before filling or emptying the water tank.
- The filling opening must not be open during use.
- Place and use the appliance on a flat, stable, dry, and heat-resistant surface. Make sure the surface is stable.
- Do not operate the appliance if it has been dropped, shows visible damage, or is leaking.

- This symbol means: "Caution, hot surface". The accessible surfaces of the appliance may reach high temperatures during operation. Be careful not to burn yourself. Do not touch hot surfaces during operation or immediately after.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If
the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Cecotec's official Technical Support Service or similarly qualified personnel to avoid hazards.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the product's rating label and that the socket is properly earthed.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Never let the power cord come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Avoid contact with the steam emitted by the appliance. Steam temperature is very high and can cause burns and other damage.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning it. To unplug the appliance, pull the plug, not the cord.
- Keeping the iron at maximum temperature for too long may cause discolouration, which will not affect the performance of the appliance.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact
Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service for any doubt.
- Cecotec takes no responsibility for any damage caused by misuse of the machine. Any misuse or non-compliance with these instructions voids the warranty and Cecotec's liability.

2. Before use
- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.
- Some parts of the iron have been lightly greased and, as a result, the iron may emit a little smoke when switched on for the first time. This will not occur again after a few uses.
- Before using for the first time, remove any protective film or adhesive from the soleplate and housing. Clean the soleplate with a soft cloth.
- When using the iron for the first time, test it on an old piece of fabric to ensure that the soleplate and water tank are completely clean.

3. Operation
Water selection
- The iron is compatible with tap water.
- If the water in your area is particularly hard, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralised water.
- Avoid using chemically softened water or other liquids.
How to fill the water tank
- Ensure that the steam control knob is set to "0" and the temperature control dial to "OFF".
- Unplug the iron from the mains supply and wait for it to cool down.
- Open the water inlet cap.
- Fill the tank to the maximum level indicated as "MAX".
Temperature control setting
● Always check the garment's care label for ironing instructions before beginning.
- If ironing instructions are missing, the table below may be helpful.
- First, sort the clothing: wool with wool, cotton with cotton, etc. Begin ironing fabrics that require the lowest temperature and progress to those needing higher temperatures, as the iron heats up faster than it cools down.
- If the fabric is composed of several types of fibres (e.g. cotton with polyester), always select the ironing temperature for the material with the lowest recommended temperature.

Temperature settings
- Plug the iron to the mains supply and place it in the upright position.
- Turn the temperature control dial to the desired level.
- The iron will reach the selected temperature when the indicator light turns off. This will turn on and off occasionally to maintain the temperature.
Spray function
The spray function can be used at any time without affecting the ironing temperature.
- Fill the water tank following the instructions.
- Point the nozzle towards the garment.
- Press the spray button.
Steam ironing
This function is ideal for higher temperatures:
- for moderate steam - or MAX for maximum steam
- Fill the water tank following the instructions.
- Place the iron in the upright position and plug it to the mains supply.
- Select the temperature ●●, ●●● or MAX on the control dial.
- Wait for the indicator light to turn off, indicating that the temperature is ready.
- Adjust the steam control knob to the desired level to begin ironing.
Note: If the temperature is too low, water may leak. Ensure the dial is adjusted to the recommended position to prevent this. Steam will resume when the appropriate temperature is reached.
Steam shot
This function provides extra steam to remove stubborn creases:
- Fill the water tank according to the instructions.
- Set the temperature dial to "MAX".
- Wait for the indicator light to turn off, indicating that the temperature is ready.
- Press the steam shot button to release additional steam onto the garment.
- Wait a few seconds before repeating if necessary. Normally, three presses are sufficient.
Dry ironing
- Plug the iron to the mains.
- Ensure that the steam control knob is set to "0".
- Set the temperature dial according to the garment.
- The iron will be ready when the indicator light turns off.
Automatic shut-off
- Automatically shuts off in horizontal position after 30 ± 5 seconds (60HZ).
ENGLISH
• In vertical position, it switches off after 8 ± 1 minutes.
Anti-drip
- When disconnected, steam stops, preventing water leaks.
Anti-scale system
- It includes an anti-limescale cartridge that reduces deposits and prolongs service life.
- The cartridge is an integral part of the tank and does not require replacement.
Self-cleaning function
- Removes limescale and impurities, recommended every two weeks (more frequently in hard water areas).
Steps for self-cleaning:
- Unplug the iron.
- Set the steam knob to "self-cleaning".
- Fill the tank to the maximum.
- Set the maximum temperature.
- Plug in the iron and wait for the indicator light to turn off.
- Unplug and hold the iron over the sink.

Press the self-cleaning button and shake gently.
Note: Steam and water will come out, eliminating impurities. -
Release the button when the tank is empty.

Repeat if necessary to remove more impurities.
When finished ironing or leaving the iron unattended
- Turn the steam control knob to the "0" position and the temperature control dial to "OFF".
- Place the iron upright.
• Unplug the iron from the mains.
4. Cleaning and maintenance
- Switch off the iron, unplug it and allow it to cool completely.
- Use a cloth with a mixture of vinegar and water to remove deposits on the soleplate.
- Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Avoid using abrasive products on the soleplate.
- Keep the soleplate free from scratches: avoid contact with metal objects.
Storage
- Switch off the iron and ensure the steam knob is set to "0".
- Unplug it and empty the water tank.
- Allow to cool completely in an upright position.
