How to use the vacuum cleaner for the first time?

Unpack all accessories. Make sure the dust filter is correctly installed in the tank. Plug the 12V connector into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Press the switch to turn on the vacuum.

Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum?

No, this vacuum is designed only for vacuuming dry surfaces and dry materials. Never vacuum liquids, as this could damage the motor and pose a risk of electric shock.

How to clean the filter?

Unplug the vacuum. Press the release button to remove the dust tank. Take out the filter and rinse it under cold water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling. Never use the vacuum without a filter.

The vacuum does not start, what should I do?

Check that the 12V connector is firmly inserted into the cigarette lighter socket. Make sure the socket is powered (some vehicles cut power after a while). If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Can I use the vacuum on upholstered furniture?

Yes, use the large brush for wide surfaces like seats or carpets. For difficult areas, use the crevice nozzle. Avoid pressing too hard to prevent damage to the fabric.

How to change the accessories?

Accessories are attached by simply pushing them into the suction opening or onto the adapter piece. To remove, gently pull them off. Make sure the attachments are well fitted to avoid loss of suction.

Is it normal for the vacuum to get hot?

Slight heat is normal during prolonged use. However, if the vacuum becomes very hot, check that the suction opening is not blocked. A blockage can cause the motor to overheat. Turn off and unplug immediately.

• When not in use, always ensure that electrical devices are kept out of reach of children. Do not let anyone use the device if he or she is not familiar with it or has not read the instructions and advice. Electrical devices are dangerous when used by inexperienced people.

Before first use

Take all the parts carefully out of the packaging and remove all the packaging material. Dispose of all the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner. Fully unwind the lead attached to the 12V plug [3].

Note: Always make sure that the dust filter [11] is installed before you use the device.

Adapter piece 4:

You need the adapter piece 4 in order to use the extension hose 6 and the large brush 7.

Insert the adapter piece 4 snugly into the front nozzle 5.

Use the extension hose 6 in combination with the large brush 7.

Insert the smaller end of the extension hose snugly into the adapter piece 4. Insert the large brush 7 snugly into the extension hose 6.

Large brush 7:

Use this attachment e.g. for cleaning larger surfaces such as seats or car mats.

Insert the large brush 7 snugly into the adapter piece 4. You can also use the large brush 7 with the extension hose 6 as described above.

Small brush 8:

This attachment has harder bristles and is therefore very suitable for loosening stubborn dirt, e.g. on the upholstery or in the footwells, before vacuuming it away, see Fig. D.

Insert the small brush 8 snugly into the front nozzle 5.

Crevice tool 9:

Use this attachment to get into narrow, difficult-to-access places.

Removing attachments:

Simply pull the attachment off the front nozzle 5, the adapter piece 4 or the extension hose 6.

- Switching On/Off

Insert the 12V plug into the 12V socket/cigarette lighter socket of the vehicle, see Fig. C. To switch the device on, press the ON/OFF switch 2 forwards into the ON position. To switch the device off, press the ON/OFF switch 2 back into the OFF position. Pull the 12V plug 3 out of the 12V socket after use.

Tip: If you are going to vacuum for a long period, we recommend that you carry out the cleaning with the engine running.

Servicing and cleaning

The device requires no maintenance.

ATTENTION! Before you clean the device itself, pull the 12V plug 3 out of the 12V socket, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. For the best vacuuming performance always empty the dust container 10 frequently, if possible after each use. Press the unlocking button 1 and take the dust container 10 out of the housing 12.

Take out the dust filter 11. Rinse out the dust filter 11 in cold water and wait until it is completely dry again before you place it back into the dust container 10. Empty the dust container completely. Carefully replace the dust filter 11 back into the dust container 10. Never use the vacuum cleaner without the dust filter 11 in place. Attach the dust container 10 carefully back on to the housing 12 and ensure the two parts engage. Clean all the housing with a soft, dry cloth. Never use liquids or cleaning agents, as they may damage the device.

ATTENTION! The front nozzle 5 must be free and unobstructed at all times. Blockages can lead to overheating and damage to the motor.

Disposal

The packaging is composed of environmentally-friendly materials that can be disposed of at a local recycling centre.

Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household rubbish!

In accordance with European Directive 2002/96/EC, worn out electrical devices must be collected separately and taken for environmentally compatible recycling.
