Installation
Installation precautions
During installation of the water heater, some clearances (at least 250mm vertically, at least 700mm horizontally) shall be left to facilitate future maintenance. If the water heater is inserted in the pinch plate, the downside of the pinch plate is movable, ensuring that the maintenance cover can be removed during maintenance. Make sure that the tap water inlet pressure is not less than 0.05MPa, and the maximum pressure does not exceed 0.75MPa. The water heater shall be installed indoors, with the ambient temperature above 0°C, and the piping shall be centralized. The hot water outlet shall be close to the hot water tap as far as possible. If the distance between them is more than 8m, the hot water piping shall be heat insulated to reduce heat loss. The water heater shall be installed on a solid and firm wall, which can bear two times the weight of the water-filled water heater. No adhesive is allowed to avoid accidental falling of the water heater. If the bearing wall or hollow brick wall is not used, proper protections must be taken, e.g., addition of supports, use of wall-through screws, mounting of backing plates. The water heater shall be installed at a place that is easy to access and provided with a floor drain. Make sure that leakage of the water tank or pipe will cause no damage to surrounding or underground facilities. It is preferably installed above the pedestal pan, bath, washbasin, or doorframe to protect users against depressing or insecure feelings. - Correct the water inlet and outlet pipes properly. The safety valve shall be installed as required, without any unauthorized modification. The pressure relief of the safety valve shall be connected to the atmosphere, without any clogging. Use the test pencil to check if the live wire and zero line are properly connected. Do not power it on for heating until you make sure that the water heater is water-filled, all connections are free of leaks, and the power is satisfactory. To avoid hazards due to accidental reset of the thermal breaker, the water heater can be neither powered by a timer or other external switch gears, nor connected to a circuit switched frequently via other devices. To avoid accidents, our accessories must be installed, and cannot be replaced or substituted at discretion. In case of damaged accessory, contact our maintenance department for repair, and replace with new ones provided by us, otherwise we have no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss arising from accidents due to non-compliance with these requirements.

- As long as the hot water is adequate, set a lower temperature to reduce heat loss, high temperature corrosion and scaling, thus extending the water heater's lifespan.
- Do not place inflammable substances such as petrol near the water heater, otherwise it may cause fire.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Warning!
The water heater must be repaired or maintained by qualified professionals. Improper methods may cause serious injury or damage to property.
Note: Before calling service technicians, please refer to the Q&A to solve simple issues.
Cleaning
1 External cleaning
Power must be switched off before cleaning the water heater. Take a wet cloth and dab it with a small quantity of neutral detergent. Lightly wipe the water heater. Do not use petrol or other solvents. Finally, use a dry cloth to wipe; make sure to dry the water heater thoroughly. Make sure not to use detergents containing abrasive agents (e.g., toothpaste), acidic substances, chemical solvents (e.g., alcohol), or polish to clean the water heater.
2 Internal cleaning
In order to ensure that the water heater will work with high efficiency, clean the heating tube and inner chamber once every two years. Take care not to damage the exterior of the heating pipe and the protective layer on the surface of the inner chamber.
Depending on the local water quality and usage habits, the anode rod should be regularly replaced. If maintenance is required, please contact the local Maintenance Department.
Check
When the water heater is in use, the safety valve should be checked once every month. To check it, turn the safety valve's small handle on the side of the water intake (take care not to hurt your hand). If there is water flowing out, the safety valve is working normally. Please contact the local After-sales Department if no water flows out. In the event of damage to the safety valve, please replace it with a safety valve of similar specifications.
- Regularly engage service personnel to carry out safety inspection and promptly clear the water heating pipes of scale. Check also the consumption of the anode rod; change it if consumption becomes excessive.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Not in use for an extended period of time
If the water heater is not used for an extended period of time, please carry out the following steps:
1 Turn off the water pipe valve. 2 Screw the water drainage pipe to the safety valve's pressure-relief hole; turn on the safety valve handle. 3 Turn the hot water valve to the maximum (at the same time unscrew the soft sprinkler pipe from the water outlet valve; take care not to be scalded by hot water), drain the inner chamber of water.
When the water heater needs to be used again, our recommendation is to open the hot water valve before switching on the power in order to prevent accidents. Allow any gas that may be trapped in the pipe to be discharged. Do not smoke or allow other exposed fire to be near the opened valve. At the same time, make sure to carefully examine all the parts of the water heater and ensure that they are in perfect condition. Make sure to fill the inner chamber with water before use.

Installation
Installation precautions
When installing the water heater, leave a gap (at least 250 mm vertically, at least 700 mm horizontally) to facilitate future maintenance. If the water heater is installed on a mounting plate, the lower part of the plate can be moved, allowing the maintenance cover to be removed during servicing. Check that the inlet pressure at the tap is at least 0.05 MPa and that the maximum pressure does not exceed 0.75 MPa. The water heater should be installed indoors, with an ambient temperature above 0°C, and the piping should be centralized. The hot water outlet should be as far as possible from the hot water tap. However, the distance between them must not exceed 8 m, and the hot water pipe should be insulated to avoid heat loss. The water heater should be installed on a solid, sturdy wall that can support twice the weight of the water heater when filled with water. The use of adhesive is not allowed, as the water heater could fall. If the water heater is not mounted by drilling into a load-bearing wall or hollow brick, appropriate protection must be ensured, such as a support, wall plugs, or installing the accompanying back plate.
Hot water outlet valve

Figure 2 The water heater should be installed by a qualified person hired by our customer service. The water heater should be mounted on the wall. Using a hammer drill, drill 4 holes, each with a diameter of 12 mm and a depth of 65 mm, according to the dimensions in Figure 2. Insert the expansion anchor into the corresponding hole in the wall to securely fasten the mounting bracket to the wall, then lift the water heater and hang it from the rear onto the mounting bracket. After installation, secure the safety valve drain pipe with screws. Install the safety valve and other accessories according to the figure above using PTFE tape.

To facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the water heater, we suggest that you install the water supply and drain pipes with G1/2 connections. Check the water supply location and connect the appropriate water supply pipe and the pipe from the faucet to the faucet. Fill the inner tank with water and check if the pipes leak; if so, reconnect them.
Warning: Secure the water heater with support until you are sure that the hanging frame is reliably installed; otherwise, the water heater may fall, which could cause injury or material damage.
Installation
Installation of the safety valve
The safety valve should be installed at a rated pressure of 0.80 MPa, with a G1/2 connection on the water supply pipe according to the arrow on the valve (which points toward the water heater). After turning on the water heater, it starts heating, and the volume of water increases because it is heated in the tank. To reduce the water pressure in the tank, a few drops leak through the pressure regulator of the safety valve. Connect the pressure regulator to the atmosphere without blockage or obstacles.
Method for installing the safety valve drain pipe: screw one end of the drain pipe onto the pressure regulator of the safety valve; the drain pipe can be shortened or extended as needed; the other end is connected to the sewer, preventing leakage inside when pressure drops. The safety valve drain pipe should be connected so that it continuously slopes downward in a frost-free environment.
