What should I do before first use of the mini-oven?

Before first use, lightly grease the drip tray and run the appliance at maximum temperature for about 5 minutes with all accessories to remove the protective coating. A slight smoke may form. Then clean the drip tray with soapy water.

How do I set the timer for a time less than 5 minutes?

First turn the timer to 15 minutes, then turn it back to the desired time (e.g. 3 minutes). This allows more precise programming. It is advisable to preheat the oven for about 3 minutes in this case.

What cooking modes are available?

You can choose top heat, bottom heat, combined heat (top and bottom), and use the rotisserie spit with rotating motor.

How do I clean the inside of the oven?

The inside of the oven is self-cleaning and requires no special care. Never use abrasive or corrosive products. Do not scratch the protective enamel coating. You can remove the bottom plate to remove crumbs.

What accessories are included with the MBG 2538 N?

The mini-oven comes with a grid, a drip tray, a lever handle, and a rotisserie spit.

What temperature and time for a pizza?

For a pizza, set the temperature between 150 °C and 180 °C and the cooking time between 10 and 20 minutes. Use the drip tray as a baking sheet.

The oven stopped during cooking, what should I do?

Check that the timer has not reached zero. The oven shuts off automatically at the end of cooking. If the timer is still set, make sure the appliance is properly plugged in and the socket works.

Can I use silicone molds in this oven?

Yes, you can use silicone molds, provided they are resistant to temperatures up to 240 °C. Place them on the grid or drip tray.

How to use the rotisserie spit?

Push the spit through the food, place it in the oven, then activate the rotisserie motor button. Set the temperature and timer. Use the lever handle to handle the hot spit.

What should I do if the power cord is damaged?

Do not use the appliance. Only the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or a qualified technician can replace the defective cord to avoid any risk.

• Before commissioning this device please read the instruction manual carefully.
• Please keep these instructions, the guaranty certificate, the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging!
• The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use!
• Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the device beforehand. Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
• In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device. Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the device. Take care to ensure that the cable does not hang down.
• Test the device and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the device should not be used.
• Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an authorised expert.
• For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead may only be replaced by an equivalent lead from the manufacturer, our customer service department or a similar qualified person.
• Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and suchlike.

Special safety information for this unit

• The unit gets hot in operation. Please use oven gloves or oven cloths.
• Do not put the unit down near to hot objects or sources of heat.
• Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant mat.
• In order to avoid a build-up of heat, do not put the oven directly under a cupboard. Ensure that there is plenty of space all around.
• Ensure that the timer is in the "0" position when you are not using the unit.

Start-up

Lightly grease the baking sheet. Operate the machine with the accessories (baking tin, grill grid, grill spit, etc.) at maximum temperature for approximately 5 minutes in

order to remove the protective coatings. It is normal for a small amount of smoke to be produced. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation.

Finally clean the accessories in a bowl of water.

Operation

1. The timer must be set to the "0" position.
2. Only connect the unit to a properly installed and earthed power socket (230 volts, 50 Hz). You can find the details on the type plate.
3. Put the items to be cooked into the oven.
4. Set the desired temperature.
5. Select the area you wish to use (top heat, bottom heat or top and bottom heat). If you use the grill spit, switch the rotation motor on by the switch [-]
6. Set the timer by turning it clockwise to set the cooking time. Once the time set has come to an end, the unit switches off automatically and a ringing sound is heard.
7. For cooking times of less than 5 minutes, first turn the timer to approx. 15 minutes and then back to 3 minutes, for example. This will make the timer more precise. In this case it is recommended that the oven should be preheated (for approx. 3 minutes).
8. Once the oven has switched off, you can open the door again and remove the food with oven gloves or oven cloths (Take care! Hot!).

Accessories:

Grid: for toasting; to be placed underneath baking pans and moulds

Baking sheet: for pizza, to be placed underneath items to be finished in the oven, to be used as a drip-tray for fat.

Lifting handles: for removing the hot baking tin and inserting and removing the grill spit.

Cleaning & storage

Pull the plug out of the socket.
- ONLY clean or put away the unit when it has cooled down. PERICOLO DUSTIONE!
- All the accessory parts can be cleaned in a bowl of water. The inside of the unit is self-cleaning and does not need to be looked after. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaners. Do not wipe the heating element. Do not scratch the protective layer of the baking sheet.
- Crumbs or other remnants on the base of the unit can be removed by taking out the base sheet.

This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements. Subject to technical changes without prior notice!

Guarantee

We undertake to guarantee the appliance sold by our company for 24 months as of the date of purchase (cash receipt).

Within the guarantee period we rectify faults to the machine free of charge which result from material or manufacturing faults, either by repairing the machine or, or our discretion, by replacement. Any such repair or replacement associated with the guarantee shall not cause the guarantee period to be extended, nor be deemed to be the start of a new guarantee period!

Proof for the warranty is provided by the purchase document. The replacement and repair will not be performed free of charge without this proof of purchase.

Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer.

Defects to the accessories do not entitle to the change of the appliance. These will be replaced free of charge. In this case do not send back the appliance. Just order the faulty accessory! Broken glass parts are replaced at the expense of the owner!

Neither defects to consumables and wearing parts (e.g. motor pistons, kneading hooks, drive belts, spare remote controls, spare toothbrushes, saw blades, etc.) nor the cleaning, maintenance or change of wearing parts fall under this warranty and hence are subject to payment of costs!

The warranty is terminated in case of handling on the part of Third parties.
