Frequently Asked Questions - Wellness JE IMETEC

How to assemble the juicer?
Place the motor base on a flat surface. Insert the filter basket into the bowl, align the grooves, and lock into place. Attach the pulp container at the back. Place the juice jug under the spout. Press the lid down until it clicks. Ensure the safety lock is engaged.
How to clean the juicer?
Unplug the juicer. Disassemble all removable parts. Rinse them under running water immediately after use. Use the included brush to clean the filter basket. Most parts are dishwasher safe (top rack). Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse motor base in water.
What fruits can I juice?
You can juice a wide variety of fruits such as apples, oranges, grapes, watermelon, strawberries, and pineapples. For hard fruits, cut them into smaller pieces. For soft fruits, use low speed. Avoid very hard seeds or pits.
Why is the juicer not working?
Check if the power cord is plugged in. Ensure the safety lock is properly engaged. The overload protection may have tripped; let the motor cool down for 15 minutes and try again. If it still doesn't work, contact customer support.
Can I juice leafy greens?
Yes, the Imetec Wellness JE can juice leafy greens like spinach, kale, and wheatgrass. Use the higher speed setting and alternate with harder vegetables to help push the greens through.
How to prevent pulp in juice?
Make sure the filter basket is properly seated and not clogged. Clean the filter after each use. Cut ingredients into small pieces to avoid overloading. The juicer has a pulp control feature; adjust accordingly.
Is the juicer dishwasher safe?
Most removable parts (bowl, lid, pulp container, juice jug) are dishwasher safe on the top rack. The filter basket is also dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended to prolong its life. The motor base should be wiped with a damp cloth only.
What does the reverse function do?
The reverse function helps dislodge stuck ingredients. If the juicer jams, press the reverse button for 2-3 seconds to rotate the filter basket in the opposite direction, clearing the blockage. Then resume normal operation.
How to store the juicer?
Clean and dry all parts thoroughly. Reassemble for compact storage or store parts separately. Keep in a dry, cool place. Avoid exposing to direct sunlight. The power cord can be wrapped around the base.
Where can I find spare parts?
Spare parts can be ordered from Imetec's official website or authorized service centers. Common spare parts include filter baskets, juice jugs, and pulp containers. Use only genuine Imetec parts for safety.
