General Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).
- Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
- Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by a qualified person and with a cable of the same type.

Special Safety Advice for this Machine

WARNING:
• The device should be kept dry.
- Do not use this device near baths, wash basins or other vessels containing water.
- If the device is used in the bathroom, please remove the mains plug after use as the proximity of water represents a hazard. This also applies if the device is switched off.
- Only dry hair should be cut with this machine.

Instructions for charging the device
Please lay the razor on a cool, dry surface when charging.
- Pull the cap (8) off the housing.
- Insert the connector plug of the power unit into the connexion (7) of the shaver.
- Insert the power unit into a correctly installed 230V, 50Hz socket.
- The red control lamp shows that the shaver is being charged and remains on until the shaver is disconnected from the mains power supply.
i NOTE:
- The lamp does not provide any indication of the charging status of the battery.
- It is not possible to use the device from the mains if the battery is completely flat. Mains operation is only possible when the minimum charging capacity has been reached after 1-2 minutes.
• We recommend allowing the battery to completely discharge approximately once a month and then recharging it.
- Leave the shaver to charge for at least 8 hours before using for the first time. It takes from 5 hours for a fl at battery to be charged.

CAUTION:
• After recharging always remove the plug from the mains socket.
- Do not charge the device for more than 10 hours.
Use
Shaver
- Remove the protective cap from the shaving head.
- Push the switch (10) for the shaver upwards in order to switch it on.
- Place the shaving foil gently against the skin and move the shaver evenly up and down.
- Push the switch downwards in order to switch the device off.
Long Hair Cutter
- Open the long hair cutter with the slide (4).
- Push the switch (10) for the shaver upwards to switch on the long hair cutter.
- Remove the longer hairs.
- Push the switch (10) downwards in order to switch the long hair cutter off.
- Close the long hair cutter with the slide (4).
Nose and Ear Hair Remover
- Remove the cap (8).
- Switch the nose and ear hair remover on by the button (9).
- Hold the tip of the shaving head against your nostril or earlobe.
- You should only remove hairs protruding from the nostril or earlobe.
- Switch the nose and ear hair remover off by the button (9).
Cleaning

WARNING:
- Always turn the device off before cleaning it and remove the power unit from the socket.
- Cuts: The shaving foil and cutting blade are sharp. Please be careful.
Shaver and Long Hair Cutter
- Press the unlocking buttons (2) in order to remove the shearing blade.
- With the cleaning brush you can remove the hairs from the shearing blade and the cutting blades.
- Extend the long hair cutter in order to clean it with the brush.
• After cleaning, close the long hair cutter and place the shearing blade back in position.
Nose and Ear Hair Remover
- Turn the nose and ear hair remover (5) in an anticlockwise direction in order to release it.
- With the cleaning brush you can remove the hairs from the nose and ear hair remover and the shearing blades.
- Place the cutting blade back in position.
- Turn the nose and ear hair remover in a clockwise direction in order to attach it.
Battery Disposal

The device contains rechargeable nickel-metal hydrid batteries. Used standard and rechargeable batteries should not be disposed of in the domestic waste.
- The batteries must be removed before the product is disposed of.

WARNING:
Disconnect the device from the mains supply before you remove the batteries!
- Please use a small Philips screwdriver to remove the six screws on the housing.
- Open the housing.
- Use a pair of scissors to cut through the wires on the battery.
- Now remove the battery.
• These can be returned to a collection point for old batteries or special refuse. Contact your local authority for further information.

The workplace-related emission value is less than 70 dB(A).

Guarantee
The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!
The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
After the expiry of the guarantee
After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
