- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
- Before installing the appliance, check that the device voltage corresponds with the supply voltage in your home (refer to rating plate or technical data).
- While using the extension cord, make sure that its voltage is the same as specified on the device. Using different voltage may result in a fire or other accident, causing appliance damage or short circuit.
• The appliance must be grounded. Connect
only to a properly installed wall socket. Failure to do so may result in the risk of electrical shock. Use only grounded extension cords.
CAUTION! During use the appliance becomes hot! Care should be taken to avoid touching the housing, bowl, or any other metal parts while operating. Make sure your hands are protected before handling the device. To avoid possible burns, do not lean above the open appliance.
- Always unplug the device after use, before cleaning or moving. Never handle plug with wet hands. Do not pull power cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces (gas or electric ovens) or sharp edges. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. Do not bend, twist, or stretch the cord.
Remember: damaging the cord may lead to a failure that will not be covered by the warranty. If the cable is damaged or requires replacing, contact an authorized service center only to avoid all risks.
REDMOND
- Never place the device on soft surfaces to keep ventilation slots clear of any obstruction. Failure to do so may result in overheating and device malfunction.
- Do not operate the appliance outdoors, to prevent water or any foreign object or insect from getting into the device. Failure to do so may result in serious damage of the appliance.
- Always unplug the device and let it cool down before cleaning. Follow cleaning and general maintenance guidelines when cleaning the unit.
DO NOT immerse the device in water or wash it under running water!
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the ap-
pliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully unpack the device, remove all packaging materials and stickers except the one with the unit's serial number. The absence of the serial number will deprive you of your warranty benefits. Wipe all interior and exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Wash the bowl with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Odor on first use of the appliance is normal and does not indicate malfunction. In such case, clean the device.
CAUTION! Do not use the appliance in case of any malfunctions.
II. OPERATION
Before Use
Place the device on a flat, stable, and hard surface away from wallpaper, decorative coatings, or any other objects or cabinets that could be damaged by steam, humidity, or high temperatures.
Before operating the appliance, ensure that the outer and inner parts of the multicooker have no dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There should not be any obstructions between the heating element and the bowl.
First fill the removable bowl with foods and liquids and only then place into the cooker, in order to prevent contamination of the working chamber. Never operate the unit without the removable bowl in place. Doing so may cause overheating and lead to malfunction.
Never operate the unit without food or liquid in the removable bowl, because overheating may cause damage to the non-stick coating.
Do not operate the unit after it misfunctions.
Standby Mode
When the cooker is being plugged in it automatically enters the standby mode: the display shows automatic programs indicators (none of them is blinking), and the clock, displaying current time in 24-hour format.
Setting the Clock (Current Time)
When the unit is switched off or in the standby mode, display shows the clock. To adjust the time, press and hold down the "IAC/-" or "MIH/-" button in standby mode, digits on the display start blinking. Press "IAC/1" button to adjust hours and "MIH/-" button to adjust minutes. Press and hold the corresponding button down to scroll through the digits.
When the time is set, wait for a few seconds or press 'CTAPT' button. The unit goes back into standby mode.
Non-volatile Memory
The device is equipped with a non-volatile memory which allows saving current settings in case of a power cut-off.
If power supply is interrupted during the operation of the cooking program current settings are being stored for 15 minutes, if interrupted during the "Time Delay" function operation current settings are being stored for 5 hours. When power supply resumes the unit continues its operation without any memory loss. If power supply resumes after the time has elapsed, multicooker enters
standby mode. The device maintains clock setting in the event of the power failure.
Saving Recent Time and Temperature Settings
Multicooker REDMOND RMC-IH300 can save recent cooking temperature settings (in program "MYLIBYHIOBAP") and recent time settings. The next time cooking program is selected, new settings become default settings.
To restore to factory time and temperature settings, simultaneously press and hold down the "ТЕМПЕРАТУРА" and "ВЫБОР ПРОДУКТА" buttons in standby mode. The device will sound an audible signal and "СТАРТ" button will blink twice to indicate that all programs have been restored back to their factory settings.
Setting the Cooking Time
Multicooker REDMOND RMC-IH300 allows adjusting cooking time in all programs. Adjustment range and interval depend on the cooking program selected. To adjust cooking time of the program:
- Press "MEHIO" button repeatedly to select cooking program. Display shows "Taimer" ("Timer") indicator and default cooking time for the selected program. To scroll through the menu options, after pressing the "MEHIO" button, repeatedly press "HAC/+ and "MIH/-" buttons.
- Press "ВРЕМЯ ПРИГОТОВЛЕНИЯ" button. Digits on the display start blinking.
- Press "HAC/-" button to adjust hours and "MH/-" button to adjust minutes. To scroll through the clips press and hold the corresponding button.
When manually adjusting the cooking time consider adjustment range and interval of the selected program.
"Time Delay" Function
"Time Delay" function allows programming the device to finish cooking by specific time. Cooking program can be delayed from 10 minutes to 24 hours in 10 minute intervals.
Ensure that the current time is correctly set before using the "Time Delay" function.
To delay the program:
- Press "MEHIO" button repeatedly to select cooking program. Adjust cooking time if required. Press "OTLOXENHBI CTART" button. Button indicator starts blinking, display shows "Oscrocha" ("Delay") indicator and the time in 24 hours format.
- Press "UAC/U" button to adjust the hours and "MMI I/-" button to adjust the minutes. Press and hold the corresponding button down to scroll through the digits.
If the time interval added to current time is less than cooking time of the program, the unit will start cooking without any delay.
- When the time of the delay has been set, adjust cooking time of the program if required. To adjust: press "ВРЕМЯ ПРИГОТОВЛЕНИЯ" button, use "ЧАС/+ " button to adjust hours and "МИН/- " button to adjust minutes. To change the time of delay press "ОТЛОЖЕННЫЙ СТАРТ" button.
- Press "CTAPT", button indicator goes off. Display shows "Orcpowa" ("Delay" indicator, name of the selected program and the time by which the dish is to be ready.
- Displayed time will not change until the beginning of the program. When the unit starts cooking "CTAPT" button indicator lights up, display shows "Oxopamine" ("End") indicator, and cooking time of the program. The time begins to count down.
- To cancel the settings press 'OTMEHA/PA30FPER' button, and reset.
Time Delay function is not available in "KAPKA" program.
"Keep Warm" Function
The function is being automatically activated at the end of the program. Keep
REDMOND
Warm* function allows maintaining the temperature of 70–75°C for a period of time up to 12 hours. When the program begins "OTMEHA/PA30TPEB" button, indicator lights up. After cooking time elapses, program indicator on the display goes off, display shows "Pugarpes" (Heating) indicator, "Keep Warm" time starts to count up. To cancel the function, press "OTMEHA/PA30TPEB" button, corresponding indicator goes off.
"Keep Warm" function is not available in "ИОГУРТ" program. If cooking temperature of "МИЛЬТИПОВАР" program was below 75°C "Keep Warm" function will be automatically disabled. You can enable the function manually if resulted.
Preliminary Deactivation of the "Keep Warm" Function
Automatic activation of the "Keep Warm" function in the end of the cooking program may not always be required. Multicooker REDMOND RMC-1H300 allows deactivating the function after beginning of the program or during its operation. To deactivate the function press 'CTAPT' button after the program begins or in the "Time Delay" mode, "OTMEHA/PA30IPEB" button indicator goes off. To reactivate the function repress 'CTAPT' button "OTMEHA/PA30IPEB" button indicator lights up).
"Reheat" Function
Multicooker REDMOND RMC-H500 can be used to reheat cooked dish. Fill the bowl with food, place the bowl into the multicooker, close the lid, and plug in the unit. Press "OTMEHA/PA3OPEB" button. Button indicator lights up, display shows "Roque-pen" ("Heating") indicator. The timer starts to count up the "Reheat" time. The dish will be warmed up to 70–75°C and the temperature will be maintained for 24 hours. Press "OTMEHA/PA3OPEB" button to disable the "Reheat" function, "OTMEHA/PA3OPEB" button indicator goes off.
Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic programs
- Measure ingredients according to the recipe. Fill the inner bowl with ingredients in accordance with the procedure recommended for selected program and place the bowl inside the device. Do not fill the bowl with ingredients or liquids pass the scale mark indicating maximum capacity. Ensure that the inner bowl is installed evenly and makes full contact with the heating element.
- Close the lid until it clicks into place. Plug in the unit.
- Press "MEHIO" button repeatedly to select the cooking program. To scroll through the menu options after pressing "MEHIO", repeatedly press "IAC/+" and "MHH/-" buttons.
- Select the corresponding subprogram depending on the type of product used by pressing "БИВОР ПРОДУКТА" button (for "ТУШЕНИЕ", "ЖАРКА", "ТОМЛЕНИЕ", "СУП", "НА ПАРУ", and "ВАРКА" programs). Each subprogram features its own default time setting, which is being shown on the display.
- Adjust default cooking time if required.
- Delay the program if required.
- Press "CTAPT" button to begin cooking. The display stops showing all program indicators, except the one indicating selected program, cooking time of selected program starts to count down.
Cooking time in "HA RAPY" program starts to count down when water comes to a full boil, providing enough steam.

Repress "CTAPT" button to disable the "Keep Warm" function: "OTMEHA/PASOTPEB" button indicator goes off. Press the "CTAPT" button once again to reactivate the function.

When cooking program finishes, an audible sound is heard. Depending on your current settings the unit either enters the "Keep Warm" mode (display shows "Подгорces" ("Heating") indicator) or indicates the end of the program (display shows the word "End").

To enter standby mode after the program finishes, press "OTMEHA/PASOTPEB" button or wait for 1 minute. To cancel the program, to interrupt cooking/reheating process, press "OTMEHA/PASOTPEB" button.

Unplug the unit after use.
General Cooking Guidelines
For best results we recommend following recommendations given in the recipe book provided with multicooker REDMOND RMC-IH300. The book includes 200 recipes to choose from and each of the recipes has been adjusted for this particular model, all dishes cooked by professional cooks, and ingredients purchased in a regular grocery store.
If you did not manage to achieve the desired results using automatic cooking programs, we recommend you trying a versatile program called "MYLbTHIPOBA", featured by REDMOND RMC-IH300. The program is equipped with a wide range of manual settings, offering boundless possibilities to experiment. Now you can adjust cooking time and temperature to suit your tastes and preferences and use a wide range of additional features provided.
"ЭКСПРЕСС" Program
The program is recommended for cooking different grains. The unit automatically sets cooking time required to cook an amount of grain you put into the bowl. Cooking time of the program does not count down; display shows the progress indicator ("progress bar").
"Time Delay" and "Keep Warm" functions are not available in this program.
"МУЛЬТИПОВАР" Program
The program can be used to cook any dish with your personal time and temperature settings. Cooking time of the program can be adjusted from 2 minutes to 12 hours in 1 minute intervals for a period of time less than 1 hour and 5 minute intervals for over an hour. Cooking temperature can be adjusted from 35 to 170°C in 5°C intervals. Program default cooking time setting is 30 minutes; default temperature setting is 100°C.
If the operating temperature of the program is below 80°C, "Keep Warm" function is being automatically disabled. Press "CTAPT" button during cooking to reactivate the function.
"КРУПЫ" Program
The program is recommended for cooking different types of grain. Default cooking time is 30 minutes. The time can be manually adjusted from 5 minutes to 4 hours in 1 minute intervals.
"ПЛОВ" Program
The program is recommended for cooking meat, fish, poultry, and vegetable rice pilafs. Default cooking time is 1 hour. The time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 2 hours in 5 minute intervals.
The program is recommended for cooking porridges with pasteurized low fat milk. Default cooking time is 25 minutes. The time can be manually adjusted from 5 minutes to 4 hours in 1 minute intervals for periods of time less than 1 hour, and 5 minute intervals for periods of time over an hour. For best results and in order to prevent milk from boiling away, we recommend you to do the following:
- rinse grain (rice, millet, etc.) thoroughly until water runs clear;
• grease the sides of the bowl with butter;
- follow proportions suggested in the recipe book, increase or reduce amount of ingredients proportionately; - using whole milk dilute it by half with water.
The results may vary depending on the quality, manufacturers, and place of origin of the grains and milk used.
If you did not manage to achieve the desired result using "МОЛОЧНАЯ КАШИ" program, we recommend you trying a versatile program "МУЛЬТИПОВАР". Optimal temperature setting for oatmeal is 95°C. Measure the ingredients and set the cooking time according to the recipe selected.
"ЙОГУРТ" Program
The program is recommended for making yogurls and proofing dough. Default
cooking time is 8 hours. The time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 hours in 5 minute intervals. "Keep Warm" function is not available in this program.
You may use yogurt jar set REDMOND RAM G1 (to be purchased separately) to prepare homemade yogurts.
"ВЫПЕЧКА" Program
The program is recommended for baking cakes, pies, puddings, and other types of pastry. Default cooking time is 1 hour. The time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 8 hours in 5 minute intervals.
"ТУШЕНИЕ" Programs
The program is recommended for making meat, fish, vegetable, and poultry stews, meat jettles, and other dishes that take long to cook. Default cooking time depends on the subprogram selected (use "BblBOP PRODYKTA" button to select): "Maco" - 1 hour, "Pobi" - 50 minutes, "Ouqui" - 40 minutes. The time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 hours in 5 minute intervals.
"ЖАРКА" Programs
The program is recommended for frying meat, fish, and vegetables. Default cooking time depends on the subprogram selected (use "Быбор ПРОДУКТА" button to select): "Мaco" - 18 minutes, "Руба" - 15 minutes, "Овощк" - 16 minutes. The time can be manually adjusted from 5 minutes to 2 hours in 1 minute intervals.
"Time Delay" function is not available in this program.
"ТОМЛЕНИЕ" Programs
The program is recommended for cooking meat and fish for an extended period of time, and for cooking traditional Russian dishes. The combination of 3D heating with unique temperature mode allows creating "Russian stove" effect inside the cooking chamber. Default cooking time depends on the subprogram selected (use "BblBOP PROJYKTA" button to select): "Mato" - 3 hours, "Paifa" - 2 hours. The time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 hours in 10 minute intervals.
"СУП" Programs
The program is recommended for cooking meat, fish, and vegetable broths and soups. Default cooking time depends on the subprogram selected (use "BolbOP ПРОЩУКТА" button to select): "Мaco" - 1 hour, "Руба" - 40 minutes, "Овощи" - 35 minutes. The time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 8 hours in 5 minute intervals.
"НА ПАРУ" Programs
The program is recommended for steaming meat, fish, vegetables, and for cooking low fat dishes and baby food. Default cooking time depends on the subprogram selected (use "BblBOP PPODYKTA" button to select): "Maco" = 40 minutes, "Puda" = 25 minutes, "Obouw" = 35 minutes. The time can be manually adjusted from 5 minutes to 2 hours in 5 minute intervals.
Use the steaming container provided to steam foods;
- Fill the bowl with 600 - 1000 ml of water. Insert the steaming container
inside the cooking bowl.

Measure and process ingredients according to the recipe, and evenly distribute them in the container. Place the bowl inside the device, ensuring optimal contact between the bowl and the heating element.

"BAPKA" Programs
The program is recommended for boiling meat, fish, and vegetables. Default cooking time depends on the subprogram selected (use "BILBOP PRODYKTA" button to select); "Maco" - 1 hour, "Puba" - 30 minutes, "Onouk" - 40 minutes. The time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 8 hours in 5 minute intervals.
III. GENERAL MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
General Rules and Recommendations
- Before you start cleaning the device, ensure that it is unplugged and has cooled down. Prior to first use or in order to remove the odor after cooking, steam half a lemon for 15 minutes using the "HA PAPY - Pyba" program. - Use soft cloth and mild soap to clean the device.
DO NOT use a sponge with hard or abrasive surface (unless otherwise specified in this user manual), or abrasive pastes. Do not use any chemically aggressive substances or any other agents which are not recommended for cleaning items that come into contact with food.
DO NOT immerse the device in water or wash it under running water! Clean the housing of the device as needed. It is recommended to clean the bowl after each use. The bowl is dishwasher safe. By the end of cleaning wipe the outer surface of the bowl dry.
It is recommended to remove condensation and clean the inner aluminum lid and the steam release valve after each use.
Remove the inner lid by pulling up 2 plastic holders located on the inner side of the main lid. Clean the surfaces of both lids and wipe them dry. Then insert the inner lid into corresponding slots on the main lid and gently push the 2 holders down until the inner lid clicks into place.
Take the steam valve by the cover and gently pull it up in order to remove. Detach the lower part of the valve by pushing the white plastic lock. Rinse and dry the parts, assemble them together and insert the valve back into the main lid of the device with the lodge facing the back.
Condensation that accumulates during cooking in the special cavity around the bowl can be easily removed with a cloth or tissue.
Clean inner walls of the main unit, the bottom, and the central temperature sensor housing (located in the middle of the bottom) with clamp (not wet) sponge or napkin. Remove any traces of soap or detergent if using any to prevent extraneous odors during cooking.
If there is a foreign object in the cavity around the central temperature sensor carefully remove it using tweezers, avoiding pressing the housing of the sensor.

V. PRODUCT WARRANTY
We warrant this product to be free from defects for a period of 25 months from the date of purchase. If the appliance fails to operate properly within the warranty period and is found to be defective in material or workmanship, we will repair or replace it free of charge. This warranty comes into force only in case an original warranty service coupon with a serial article number and an accurate impress of the company of the seller proves the purchase date. This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by the failure to use this product for its normal purpose or in accordance with the instructions on the proper use and maintenance of the product, or any kind of repair works. Do not try to disassemble the device and keep all package contents. This warranty does not cover normal wear of the device and its parts (filters, bulbs, non-stick coating, gaskets, etc.).
Service life and the applicable product warranty period start on the date of purchase or the date of manufacture (if the purchase date cannot be established). You can determine manufacture date by serial number, located on the Identification Label on the housing of the device. The serial number consists of 13 digits. 6th and 7th digits of the serial number identify the month, 8th digit the year of manufacture.
Service life of the product, established by the manufacturer is 5 years from the date of purchase, provided that the unit is used and maintained in accordance with the user manual and applicable technical standards.
The packaging, user manual and the device itself shall be taken to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Do not throw away the electronic waste with household trash to help protect the environment.
