Frequently Asked Questions - TFMH 360 Thermex

How do I install the Thermex TFMH 360 range hood?
Installation must be done by a qualified professional. Ensure the hood is mounted at least 65 cm above the cooking surface. Follow the user manual for precise measurements and electrical connections.
How often should I clean the grease filters?
Grease filters should be cleaned every 2-3 months depending on usage. Wash them with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher at low temperature. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
Can the hood be used in recirculation mode?
Yes, the TFMH 360 can be used in recirculation mode with optional charcoal filters. Purchase and install charcoal filters to remove odors when ducting is not available.
What type of light bulbs does the hood use?
The hood uses two 1.5 W LED bulbs. These are energy-efficient and long-lasting. Replace only with identical LED bulbs.
How do I adjust the fan speed?
Press the speed buttons on the control panel to select low, medium, or high speed. The hood provides optimal extraction for different cooking intensities.
What is the noise level of this hood?
The noise level ranges from 55 dB(A) on low speed to 65 dB(A) on high speed. It is considered quiet for a range hood of this capacity.
Can I install a longer duct for extraction?
Yes, but keep the duct as short and straight as possible to maintain efficiency. Use smooth rigid ducting with a diameter of 150 mm for best performance.
How do I reset the filter saturation indicator?
After cleaning or replacing filters, press and hold the filter reset button for 3 seconds until the indicator turns off. Refer to the manual for exact button location.
Is the Thermex TFMH 360 energy efficient?
Yes, it has an energy class of A+ with an annual energy consumption of approximately 30 kWh, making it an efficient choice for your kitchen.
What should I do if the motor stops working?
Check the power supply and circuit breaker. If the motor still does not run, contact customer service. Do not attempt to repair the motor yourself.

The range hood is most easily built into a Thermex cooker hood that is custom made for the purpose. It is recommended that the fitting height of the range hood should be at least 50-60cm over the gas cooker.

NB!

The range hood shall be extra protected cf. the high voltage regulations.

Fitting

Connect the tube to the outlet flange ∅ 150mm (fig. 1, A), that should be 1. installed with collar clip (extra accessory), check that the flaps in the outlet tube (counter damper) (fig. 1, B) opens and closes.

  1. Make the electrical connection (fig. 2). The range hood is equipped with 1 or 2 leads: TFMH with one lead for the supply source. Besides TFH with 1 lead for use for external ventilator.

Draw the lead out from the range hood and place it where the panel shall sit (note the length of the lead before making a decision).

Connect the control panel to the lead and attach the control panel in a flat area that is cleaned thoroughly. Possibly replace the fitting plate with a cut-out triangle with the enclosed fitting plate. Detach the fitting plate by removing the 2 finger-screws behind the filters.
