This problem can have several causes. Here’s how to diagnose:

First, check the air pressure

The manual states that the recommended cutting pressure should be 95-99 PSI. Check the gauge on the back panel (PTFE air pressure regulator). A pressure that is too low (below 95 PSI) will turn off the arc quickly.

Check the grounding

According to the specifications, you must securely attach the ground clamp as close as possible to the cutting area. Poor grounding contact creates too much resistance and the arc interrupts. Clean the contact surface and move the clamp closer to the area where you are cutting.

Possible thermal shutdown

If the problem persists after these checks, the thermal protection system may be activating. The CUT-65 machine automatically shuts down when the internal components reach the maximum temperature (especially with repeated starts). Allow the fan to cool the machine for a few minutes.

Check the trigger cable

Ensure that the torch control cable is properly connected to the machine's socket, without pinches or damage.
