2. Do not connect any DALI/1-10V/0-10V/PWM terminals to mains power. DALI wires are NOT SELV and should never be considered safe to touch. Basic level of isolation or better is required between DALI wires and mains cabling.

WARNING

Risk of electric shock! If casing is removed or handled, improperly the internal components of the fixture may cause harm or become permanently damaged. Do not expose the internal mechanisms/components of this fixture to moisture.

1. All electrical installation and repair work should be carried out by a qualified electrician or Dyson Field Service Technician in accordance with current local codes or regulations.
2. Do not connect any DALI/1-10V/0-10V/PWM terminals to mains power. DALI wires are NOT SELV and should never be considered safe to touch. Basic level of isolation or better is required between DALI wires and mains cabling.
3. To prevent movement and strain on the terminals, positive means of field wiring securement must be provided during installation. The field wiring shall be secured less than 3 inches from the cord entry and considered with National Electrical Code.
4. This fixture must be installed in accordance with NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified electrician. This fixture should be installed with appropriate fixings for the installation environment. Conformity and compliance is the responsibility of the installer.
5. If any part of the fixture is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or been in contact with water, do not use and contact the Dyson Helpline.
6. CAUTION: Possibly hazardous optical radiation emitted from this fixture. Do not stare at the light source. May be harmful to the eye. The fixture should be positioned so that prolonged staring into the light source at a distance closer than 2 ft (0.6m) is not expected.
7. Do not install or use with a damaged suspension cable. If the suspension cable supplied is damaged it must be replaced by Dyson, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
8. This fixture is compatible with DALI/1-10V/0-10V/PWM compliant control systems.
9. Use a dry, lint free cloth or compressed air (solvent and moisture free) to clean the fixture. Ensure the fixture is switched off before cleaning.
10. Ensure no pipe work (gas, water, air) or electrical cables, wires or ductwork are located directly behind the drilling/mounting area.
11. Check that the electrical supply corresponds to that shown on the rating plate, if the fixture is connected to any electrical supply other than that stated on the rating plate permanent damage or improper/unsafe operation of the fixture may result.
12. The fixture must be earthed.
13. The fixture is designed for dry, internal location only. Operating environment range 0^ C ( 32^ F) to 40^ C ( 104^ F) and 10-95% RH non-condensing.

MANDATORY INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE US & CANADA

TO ENSURE THAT THE INSTALLATION OF THE FIXTURE COMPLIES WITH UL REGULATIONS, THIS ADDITIONAL INSTALLATION INFORMATION MUST BE FOLLOWED:

1. For Recess Mounting - The driver box must be installed within a metal enclosure with has conduit access above the ceiling. This must be obtained and fitted before installation of the fixture.
2. For Surface Mounting - An additional junction box adapter must be used to connect the driver box to the junction box. Please contact the Dyson Helpline to obtain this part.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE DYSON 5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.

If you have registered your fixture online, your warranty will start from the date of purchase. Please retain your proof of purchase. If you do not have your proof of purchase, your warranty will start 90 days after the date of manufacture, according to Dyson's records.

This warranty will be void if the fixture is installed and used in a country outside the one in which it was sold.

WHAT IS COVERED

5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

All factory parts of your light are covered against original defects, material and workmanship when used in accordance with the owner's manual and installation guide for a period of 5 years from the start of your warranty.

• Any parts that are returned and replaced by Dyson will become the property of Dyson.
- The replacement of any part of your unit under warranty will not extend the period of warranty.
- This limited warranty provides benefits, which are additional to and do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer. This limited warranty gives you legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Dyson shall not be liable for costs, damages or repairs incurred as a result of, due to, or from:

• Careless operation or handling, misuse, abuse and/or lack of maintenance or use not in accordance with the Dyson Operating Manual.
• Use of parts not in accordance with the Dyson Operating Manual.
• Use of parts and accessories other than those produced or recommended by Dyson.
• Faulty installation or installation that does not precisely follow the installation instructions supplied by Dyson (except where installed by Dyson).
  • Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized parties or agents.
• External sources such as weather, electrical outages or power surges.

• Normal wear and tear (e.g. fuse, etc.).

- Damage caused by water ingress due to cleaning or treatment prohibited in this manual.
- Any electrical, flooding or structural damage, or any loss of business or revenue as a result of product failure.
