Principle of operation

Compressors are reciprocating compressors with oil lubricant and are used for the generation of compressed air and accumulation of compressed air to the corresponding maximum pressure. Excess pressure is discharged through the safety valve. Compressed air is used to supply pneumatic equipment running on compressed air, for professional and personal use.

Distinguishing characters of compressors:

Compressors have the following common features:

• Electric-driven compressors for professional and personal use
- Safety valve
• Automatic starting and shutdown system of pressure relay
• Automatic motor breaker
• Power supply 230 V

Types of compressors differ in the following parameters:

Switch

Compressors are equipped with a switch (1), which can also be used as an emergency switch.

  • Position I: ON.
  • Position 0: OFF.

Safety valve

Safety valve (2) is activated when the maximum allowable pressure in the air receiver is exceeded by 10%.

Automatic motor breaker

Compressors serially have an internal automatic motor breaker. Compressors WARRIOR 255 and WARRIOR 435 are equipped with external automatic motor breaker. Positioning an external automatic motor breaker marked with special plate. When faults appear (e.g, by overheating, etc.) motor protection is activated and stops the power supply. In this case see malfunctions overview on page 26, p.G.
