How to install the Sven Plus crib?

Remove the crib from the bag, unfold the legs by pulling them in opposite directions, lock the rails by inserting them correctly, then lower the central lock until it is flat. Place the mattress and secure it with Velcro. Follow figures 1 to 5 in the manual.

From what age can the crib be used?

From birth. The high position is suitable up to 9 kg; as soon as the baby can sit up on their own, use only the low position.

Is the mattress included? Can I add a second one?

Yes, a mattress is included. Do not add a second mattress as it poses a suffocation risk.

How to clean the crib and changing table?

Crib: wipe with a damp cloth and let dry. Changing table: clean with warm water and mild soap. Do not use chemical cleaners, do not machine dry, do not iron.

Is the crib compliant with safety standards?

Yes, it complies with standards EN 716-1:2017+AC:2019 (baby cribs) and EN 12221-1:2008+A1:2013 (changing tables).

Can I use the changing table separately?

The changing table attaches to the crib using fixings on the frame. It can be left hanging on the side when not in use, but it is not designed for independent use.

How to fold the crib for transport?

Remove all accessories, pull the central handle upward, unlock the rails by pressing the side buttons, then fold the legs. Wrap the folded crib with the mattress and secure with Velcro straps, then store in the carrying bag.

Are the canopy and mosquito net removable?

Yes, the canopy clips onto the crib and unclips easily. The mosquito net attaches to the canopy and can be removed separately.

What is the weight capacity of the changing table?

• Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot.
• Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
• Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords.
• Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
• The cot is ready for use only when the locking mechanisms are on. Before use, carefully check that these mechanisms are fully switched on.
• The lowest position of the cot is the safest and should always be used as soon as the child starts to sit up.
• The upper position of the cot is suitable for children weighing up to 9 kg. If your child starts to sit down himself, use only the lower position.
• If you leave the child unattended in the cot, always make sure that the side entrance is fastened with a zipper.

- Before replacing the base with the lowest one, it is necessary to remove the support rails.

- All mounting elements should always be tight, connections should be regularly checked and tightened if necessary.

- The cot can not be used by children who can get out of it themselves, it may cause a fall and serious injuries or even death.

- WARNING - Only use the mattress sold with this cot, do not add a second mattress on this one, suffocation hazards.

- The mattress is an integral part of the bed.

CHANGING PAD WARNING - Do not leave the child unattended.

- The baby cots should be blocked before using the changing table.

- The changing table is suitable for children up to 12 months of age and weighing up to 11 kg.

- Any additional or replacement parts can only be obtained from the manufacturer.

- Do not use the changing unit if any part is broken, torn or missing.

- Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires etc. in the near vicinity of the changing unit.

- All mounting elements should always be tightened, joints should be checked regularly and tightened if necessary.

Safe use of batteries

- Batteries should not be charged.

- Batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.

- Batteries must be removed from the toy before charging.

- Do not insert different types of batteries or new and used batteries.

• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Exhausted batteries should be removed from the toy.
• The supply terminals are not to be short – circuited.
• To replace the batteries: use a screwdriver to open the door and access the battery compartment. Replace the batteries and make sure they are inserted correctly. Screw the door with a screwdriver.
• The toy cannot be connected to more power sources than recommended.

Assembly instruction

1. Take the cot out of the bag and loosen the adhesive straps. Place the cot on the floor and put the bag aside (see fig. 1).
2. Separate the legs pulling them apart. Keep the central lock up. Otherwise handrails will not fit in the right place (see fig. 2).
3. Pull the middle part of each top rail covered with material so that they fit into place. Start with the longer rails, and then the shorter ones (see fig. 3).

Note! So that the sides of the cot / handrails are properly blocked, the central blockade of the floor must be raised upwards. The baby rails will not lock when the floor is unfolded.

1. Push the middle lock until the surface is completely flat (you will hear the click sound) (see fig. 4).

2. Place the mattress in the cot (see fig. 5). Fasten the mattress using Velcro on the two short sides of the mattress (there are special openings in the floor for fastening).

Base installation

The base should be attached using the zipper. Once the base is attached, secure the zipper with a buckle and cover it with a Velcro pad. Slide the reinforcement tubes into the sewn handles and connect them (they must be paired properly). Place the mattress onto the tube-reinforced base and fasten it with Velcro from below (fig. 6).

Canopy installation

Place the rear part of the canopy on the cot, then stretch the fabric and attach the canopy to the cot using plastic clamp holders.

After the roof has been mounted, it should be pressed several times from the top to get rid of the pointed shape, which is picked up in the carton (see fig. 7).

The mosquito net may only be used with the canopy folded out. If you want to fold the canopy - detach the mosquito net (fig. 8).

Changing table assembly instruction

Put the stabilizing tubes (A) into the fabric guides on the changing table. Connect the tubes (B). Fasten the Velcro on the shorter ends of the fabric. Then mount the changing table with the use of mounting elements to both short and long side of the cot frame. Attach the organizer to the dedicated part of the cot frame and fasten the Velcro closure (see fig. 9). Leave the changing table hanging on the side of the cot when not currently in use (fig. 10).

Organizer installation

Put the hooks on the organizer and mount it on the cot frame (see fig. 11).

The cot folding instruction

1. Remove all the cot accessories. Remove the mattress, canopy, organizer and all the other accessories. Grasp the centre handle located in the middle of the floor and pull it up (see fig. 12). The upper level base doesn't need to be taken down before folding.
2. To unlock the upper rails, press the indicated buttons on each side of them. Pull it slightly up and then push it down. Unlock the shorter sides first, and then do the same with the longer ones (fig. 13).
3. While still pulling up the handle, lift the floor of the cot and fold the legs (see fig. 14).
4. Wrap the folded cot with the mattress and fasten it with Velcro straps. Put the folded cot into the bag (see fig. 15.). If these disassembly is unsuccessful, repeat the whole process again until the product is folded.

Cleaning

Wipe the product with a damp cloth, then allow to dry.

Changing table - clean with warm water and mild soap. Do not dry clean and do not use caustic agents. Do not dry mechanically, do not iron.
