SAFETY MEASURES

Before using the electrical unit, read these instructions carefully. Keep these instructions for future reference. Use the unit according to its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this user manual. Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.

  • Before using the unit, closely examine the power cord and the power cord connector located on the unit body and make sure that they are not damaged. Do not use the unit if the power cord or power cord connector are damaged.
  • Before switching the unit on make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
  • The power cord is equipped with a "europlug"; plug it into the socket with reliable grounding contact.
  • Do not use adapters for plugging the unit in.
  • Make sure that the power cord is properly inserted into the connector on the unit body and the mains socket.
  • Use only the supplied power cord, do not use power cords of another units.
    • Use only the removable parts supplied with the unit.

  • Do not touch the power cord and power plug with wet hands.
  • Do not immerse the unit, the power cord and power plug into water or any other liquids.
  • If the unit was dropped into water, unplug it immediately by taking the power plug out of the mains socket. Do not put your hands into water!
  • Apply to an authorized service center for the further use of the unit.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the openings of the unit or between its parts.
  • Do not let edges of clothes or foreign objects get between the lid and unit body.
  • Don't leave the unit unattended, if you are not using the unit, switch it off and unplug it.
  • To avoid injury, do not bend over the steam release openings or over the bowl when the multicooker lid is open.
  • Do not touch the lid surface during multicooker operation, open the lid by pressing the lid opening button only.
  • To avoid getting burned by hot steam, be very careful when opening the multicooker lid.
  • Keep the steam release openings clean, clean them when they get dirty.
  • Never use the unit without the installed bowl and do not switch the multicooker on without food and sufficient amount of liquid in the cooking bowl.
  • Do not use the multicooker if the silicone gasket on the inner surface of the lid is damaged.
  • Follow the recommendations for amount of dry products and liquids.
  • Do not remove the bowl during operation.
  • Do not cover the multicooker during operation.
  • Attention! Watch the level of liquid in the bowl while steam cooking, add water to the bowl as needed. Do not leave the unit unattended.
  • Do not carry the unit during operation. Use the carrying handle, after having unplugged the unit, removed the bowl with food and let the unit cool down preliminarily.
  • The lid, cooking bowl and body parts heat up strongly during operation, do not touch them, if you need to take out the hot bowl use potholders.
    • Clean the unit regularly.
    • Never allow children to use the unit as a toy.
  • For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
  • Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

  • Do not use the bowl (12) as a container for mixing products. Never chop the products in the bowl (12) to avoid damage of the non-stick coating.
  • Never leave and keep any foreign objects in the bowl (12).
  • When cooking food in the bowl (12) stir it only with the plastic soup ladle (14) or spatula (15).
  • Do not use metal objects that can damage the non-stick coating of the bowl (12).

  • When cooking dishes with spices and seasonings wash the bowl (12) right after cooking.

  • To avoid damage of the non-stick coating do not put the bowl (12) into cold water immediately after cooking; let it cool down preliminarily.
  • The bowl (12) is not intended for washing in the dish-washing machine.

Every pressing of the control panel buttons is accompanied by a sound signal.

Cooking program selection buttons (17)

To select a cooking program, press the appropriate button, the button indicator will light up.

“STEW” and “STEAM COOKING” programs offer different cooking time for vegetables, meat and fish. To select a food type press the “STEW” /“STEAM COOKING” button repeatedly, checking with the indicators (21).

Attention!

  • If you switched an auto-cooking program on by pressing one of the buttons (17) without making additional program settings, in 10 seconds you will hear a sound signal and the multicooker will be switched on in the selected food cooking mode.
  • To reset program settings or cancel the cooking program, press the "OFF" button (19), the "8888" symbols will light up on the display (3).
  • Never leave the operating unit unattended.

Notes:

  • Do not open the lid (4) in the «Baking» program until the cooking program is finished.
  • To avoid scorching of the food after finishing of the "BAKING" program, switch the keep warm mode off by pressing the "OFF" button (19).

  • The “ROASTING” program operates similarly to a kitchen stove, the user has to watch the readiness of food during cooking and switch the unit off, when the food is ready.

  • See recipes of dishes in the recipe book (supplied with the unit). All recipes are given for reference only as the required amount and proportions of the ingredients may vary depending on local peculiarities of the food and altitude above sea level.

Steam release temperature maintenance

After a cooking program is finished the unit is switched to the keep warm mode automatically (except "Yogurt" program). Use the button (19) to switch the keep warm mode on/off.

Note: Do not use the keep warm function to heat up cold products.

Switching off / canceling wrong program settings

Use the button (19) to reset settings of the cooking program or to switch the cooking program off.

«DELAYED START» button (20)

You can select the time (from 1 hour to 24 hours), after which the food cooking will be finished.

- Select a cooking program using the buttons (17), press the "DELAYED START" button (20), use the buttons (18) "+ / -" to set the time after which the food must be ready, the countdown of the time remaining to the start of cooking will be shown on the display (3) and after that the selected cooking program will be switched on.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After the unit transportation or storage at low temperature it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room temperature before switching on.

  • Unpack the unit, remove any stickers and package materials that can prevent normal operation of the multicooker.
  • Place the unit on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from all kitchen heat sources (gas cooker, electric cooker or cooking unit).
  • Place the multicooker keeping at least a 20 cm gap between the multicooker body and the wall and at least a 30-40 cm gap above the unit.
  • Do not place the multicooker close to the objects that can be damaged by the released steam of high temperature.

Attention! Do not use the unit near bath tubs, kitchen sinks or other containers filled with water.

  • Open the lid (4) by pressing the button (5) and pulling the handle (6).
  • Wash all the removable parts - the bowl (12), steam cooking basket (13), soup ladle (14), spatula (15) and measuring cup (16), yogurt cups (22) and small lids (23) - with a soft sponge with neutral detergent, then rinse under running water and dry.
  • Clean the unit body with a damp cloth, then wipe it dry.

USING OF THE MULTICOOKER

- Place the food in the bowl following the recipe (see "Recipe book").

Note: Make sure that the ingredients and liquids level does not exceed the maximal mark "1.8L" and that it is not lower than the minimal mark "0.6L". Maximal level mark for porridges (except rice) is «1.4L»

General example of loading products and water (as an example rice is considered)

Measure rice with the measuring cup (16) (one measuring cup is equal to approximately 160 grams of rice), wash it and place in the casserole.

Add water up to the corresponding level.

For simplicity use the graduated scale in cups (CUP). The scale has graduation, marking proportions of rice and water.

Example: If you put four measuring cups of cereal, pour water up to the mark of 4 cups (CUP).

For cooking thin milk porridges the recommended proportion of rice and water is 1:3.

- Put the bowl (12) in the process chamber. Make sure that the outer surface of the bowl (12) is clean and dry, and the bowl itself (12) is placed evenly and is in secure contact with heating element (10) surface.

Notes:

  • do not use the bowl (12) for washing cereals and do not chop products in it, this can damage the non-stick coating;
  • make sure that there are no foreign objects, dirt or moisture in the process chamber and on the bottom of the bowl (12);
  • wipe the outer surface and the bottom of the bowl (12) dry before use;
  • there is a temperature sensor (11) in the middle of the heating element (10); make sure that nothing prevents free sensor movement.

  • If you steam products, pour water into the bowl (12) so that boiling water doesn't reach the bottom of the basket (13). Put the basket with food (13) into the bowl (12).

  • Close the lid (4) until click.
  • Insert the power cord jack into the connector (9) and the power cord plug into the socket. You will hear a sound signal, the «8888» symbols will light up on the display (3) and the “Rice” cooking program indicator will be flashing.
  • Use the buttons (17) to select the desired auto-cooking program, the cooking program indicator will light up

Attention!

If you switched an auto-cooking program on by pressing one of the buttons (17) without making additional program settings, in 10 seconds you will hear a sound signal and the multicooker will be switched on in the selected food cooking mode.

- If necessary, enter the required cooking program duration time, set the time by consequent pressing of the buttons (18) «-/+», the numerical data will be shown on the display (3).

Note: If you select the cooking program "Rice", then setting of the cooking duration time will be unavailable, proceed to the next step of setting.

  • Set the delayed start function, if necessary. For this purpose press the "DELAYED START" button (20) and then use the buttons (18) «-/+» to set the time, after which cooking will be finished. If you want to start cooking immediately, skip this step.
  • Cooking will start automatically a few seconds after the setting is completed, the display will show the operation remaining time (for all programs except the "Rice" program).
  • Sound signals will notify on finishing of cooking, the unit will be automatically switched to the keep warm mode (except for the "Yogurt" program), the display (3) will show time of the multicooker operation in the keep warm mode.
  • To cancel the keep warm mode, press the "OFF" button (19).
  • To force the unit to be switched from the standby mode to the keep warm mode, press the "MAINTAIN t" button (19).

Notes:

  • Despite the unit keeps the ready dish warm for 24 hours, it is not recommended to leave the cooked food in the multicooker bowl for a long time, because this may spoil the food.
  • Do not use the keep warm function for heating up products.

Attention!

• Never leave the operating unit unattended.
- To avoid burns be very careful when opening the lid (4), do not bend over the steam release openings (7) during unit operation and do not place open parts of your body above the bowl (12)!
- During the first operation of the multicooker some foreign smell from the heating element can appear. It is normal.
- Watch the food during cooking and, if necessary, stir the products with the plastic soup ladle (14) or spatula (15). Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl (12).
- You may use the holder on the unit body to store the soup ladle (14) or spatula (15).

"YOGURT" PROGRAM

- Pour leaven and milk into the yogurt cups (22) in the proportion 1:10.

Note: Use natural yogurt with minimum shelf-life free of additives and coloring agents as a leaven. You can make leaven by yourself from special bacteria leaven (you can buy it in a drugstore or in health food stores) following the instructions attached.

  • Put the filled yogurt cups (22) into the bowl (12).
  • Place the bowl (12) into the process chamber, select the "YOGURT" program and set the cooking time (see "Using of the multicooker").

Attention!

When the multicooker is operating in the "YOGURT" program, do not move it

  • Cover cups with ready yogurt with the small lids (23) and place them into the fridge for several hours to stop bacteria growth.
  • You can add fruits, jam and honey to the ready natural yogurt.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Unplug the unit and let it cool down.
- As the drip container (8) is filled up, remove the container (8) and pour the accumulated fluid out.
- Clean the unit body (1) and lid (4) with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe dry.
- Wash all removable parts with a soft sponge and a neutral detergent, then rinse under running water.
- Do not place the bowl (12) in the dishwashing machine.
- Wipe the surface of the heating element (only when it is cold), do not allow water to get inside the unit body.
- Do not immerse the unit body, power cord and plug into the water or other liquids.
- Do not use abrasive and aggressive detergents for washing of the unit and accessories.
