Connecting to the mains power supply
Before connecting the product to the power outlet ensure that the voltage on the label is the same as voltage source in your power outlet.
It is recommended to connect this machine to a power socket that is protected by current protection with a release current of 30 mA.
Never hold the power plug with wet hands.
The connecting power socket on connecting elements must be made from rubber, soft thermoplastic material of the same strength, or must be coated with this material.
Used connecting power conductors must not be lighter than a rubber conductor cable H07RN-F according to DIN 57 282/VDE 0282 and must have a diameter of at least 1.5 mm ^2 . Power plug connections must have protected contacts and connections protected against spraying water. Guide the connecting cable through the pull reduction on the guide handle and insert into the combination socket – power plug. Before use, check that the conductors are not damaged or showing signs of material ageing. Never operate the machine if the electrical lines are not in perfect condition (also applies to lines going to the motor). If while working, the lawn the cable is damaged, immediately pull the power plug out of the mains and only then check the damage.
The extension cable must have the cross section in accordance with the user's manual and must be protected against spraying water. The power plug connection must not lie in water.
If the product's power cable is damaged, have an authorised service or qualified person replace it, in order to prevent hazards. It is forbidden to use an appliance with a damaged power cable or plug.
Do not disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet by pulling the cable.
Avoid turning the machine on and off too frequently in a short time period, namely playing with the switch.

If the device starts to vibrate unusually, immediately pull the plug out of the socket and inspect the machine.
Do not work in such a way that limits the movement of the extension cable.
Do not place the power cable near hot surfaces, or over sharp objects. Do not place heavy objects on the power cable. Position the cable so that it will not be stepped on or tripped over. Make sure the power cable is not touching a hot surface.
- Keep the power cable and extension cable a sufficient distance from the cutting blades. Danger of injury by electrical shock.
The voltage fluctuations caused by this machine during start-up may during unfavourable mains conditions cause interference with other devices connected to the same circuit. In such a case take appropriate measures (e.g. connect the machine to a different circuit or operate it in circuit with a lower impedance).
Pay attention to necessary extension cables.
If you are not using the product, or if you know that you will not be using it soon, turn it off and disconnect the power cable from the wall socket. Prior to cleaning, proceed in the same manner.
* Always pull the power plug from the mains, if:
- you leave the machine,
- the machine starts to vibrate unusually (inspect immediately).
Electrical safety
The garden vacuum/blower can be inserted into any light power socket (with an alternating current of 230 V). Permissible is, however, only a socket protected by a 16 A protective switch and a protective switch against false current with max. 30 mA.
Use only undamaged power cables. The cables cannot be of any length (max. 50 m), otherwise the power of the electrical motor will be reduced. The power cable to the machine must have a cross section of 3 × 1.5 mm^2 . The insulation on cables of garden machinery is very often damaged. The causes of this are:
- damaged caused by driving over the cable
- compression of the cable when it goes under doors, windows, etc.
- cracks caused by the ageing of the insulation
- broken places caused by unprofessional connections or cable routes.
Cables damaged in this way are often used despite the fact that they are deadly. Cables, power plugs and power sockets must meet the following conditions. Electrical cables for connecting the garden machine must have rubber insulation.
The machine should be powered using automatic current protection with a starting current larger than 30 mA.
For extension cords up to 15 meters long use a wire cross-section of 1.5 mm ^2 .
For extension cords longer than 15 meters and shorter than 40 meters use a wire cross-section of 2.5 mm ^2
Cables damaged in this way are often used despite the fact that they are deadly. Cables, power plugs and power sockets must meet the following conditions. Electrical cables for connecting the garden machine must have rubber insulation.
Electrical cables must be at least type H05RN-F, with 3 conductors. The cable must be marked with a print. So buy only cables labelled with a print. Power plugs and connecting sockets on electrical cables must be from rubber and protected against spraying water. The cables must not be of any length. Longer cables require a larger cross section. Regularly inspect the power and connecting cables for damage. During an inspection power cables must be disconnected. Fully unwind the power cable. Also inspect broken places on the connecting cables at the power plug and the connecting power sockets.
The connecting power sockets on connecting elements must be made from rubber, soft PVC or another thermoplastic material of the same strength, or must be coated with this material.
7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE
Working procedure
Do not try to vacuum wet debris, like wet leaves, etc. allow them to dry before using the vacuum cleaner. The garden vacuum/blower can be used to blow debris from yards, streets, roads, lawns, bushes and fences. It can also be used to pick up leaves, paper, small branches and sawdust. If you use the garden vacuum/blower in the vacuuming mode, it will vacuum garden debris through the suction tube into the collection bag, where the debris will be mulched on its way through suction fan passage. Mulched organic matter is very suitable for mulching around plants.
Blowing mode
Before starting work, carefully inspect the work area. Remove all items, which could be deflected by the blower, or which could clog the blower or jam inside. Using the selection lever on the side of the machine select the blowing function and turn on the machine. Place the blower on the guiding wheels on the front part of the tube and move it forward directing the nozzle at the garden waste, which you wish to blow away. Otherwise you can hold the nozzle above the ground and move the machine in a swinging motion from side to side. Blow the garden waste on to a reasonable pile, which you can then comfortably vacuum up using the vacuuming function. Never blow garden waste in the direction of standing persons or household pets.
Vacuuming mode
Before starting work, carefully inspect the work area. Remove all items or debris, which could be deflected by the vacuum cleaner, or which could clog the vacuum cleaner or jam inside. Using the selection lever on the side of the machine select the vacuuming function and turn on the machine. Place the vacuum cleaner on the wheels and move it forward, directing the suction tube at the garden waste, which you wish to collect. Otherwise you can hold the suction tube above the ground and move the machine in a swinging motion from side to side, advancing forward directing the nozzle at the garden waste to be collected.
ATTENTION: Do not place the suction tube into the removed garden waste, this may clog the suction tube and lower the machine's efficiency.
Organic material such as leaves, contains a large amount of water and this may cause the material to become caught inside the suction tube. To lower the adhesion of the material, leave it to dry out for a few days before collecting.
For the vacuuming function of the garden vacuum cleaner always use the bag to collect the mulched material.
ATTENTION: Any kinds of hard items, for example rocks, cans, glass, etc. will damage the suction fan.
