Frequently Asked Questions - TSA5030 Teesa

How do I charge the robot vacuum cleaner?
Connect the AC adapter to the charging socket on the robot and plug it into a power outlet. The charging indicator flashes red during charging and turns solid blue when fully charged. Full charge takes about 3–4 hours.
What is the runtime of the vacuum?
On a full charge, it runs for 80–100 minutes. If you press the power button twice, it runs for a fixed 45 minutes then stops.
How do I empty the dust bin?
Turn off the vacuum. Remove the top cover, then the filter cover. Take out the dust bin, remove the filter, empty the bin, and reassemble. Empty after each use for best performance.
How do I clean the side brushes?
Turn off the vacuum. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw from the center of the side brush shaft. Detach the brush and clean off hair or debris. Reattach and tighten the screw. If bristles are deformed, soak in hot water to restore shape.
Why does the vacuum stop suddenly?
Possible reasons: low battery (charge it), the interval mode (45 minutes) ended, or it is tangled with an obstacle. Check manually and remove any tangles. Also ensure the dust bin is not full.
Can I use it on carpets?
Yes, it works on low pile carpets and hard floors. Avoid high-pile carpets as they may cause performance issues.
Does it prevent falls from stairs?
Yes, it has cliff sensors to detect drops. However, environmental conditions (e.g., direct sunlight) can affect them, so use a physical barrier on stairs if needed.
How do I replace the filter?
Turn off the vacuum. Remove the top cover and filter cover. Take out the old filter and replace with a new one. Use only authorized filters. If heavily soiled, cleaning performance drops—replace it.
The vacuum makes a clicking sound while cleaning. Is this normal?
Yes, a clicking sound may occur when the anti-tangle system is activated. It stops the side brushes to avoid getting tangled in cords or tassels. This is normal.
Can I vacuum liquids or wet surfaces?
No, do not use it on wet surfaces or to pick up liquids. It is for dry surfaces only. Using it on wet surfaces can cause electric shock or damage.

  1. Use a suitable screwdriver and remove the screw from the middle of the side brush shaft.
  2. Remove the side brush from the appliance.
  3. Clean the side brush from any hair, debris or threads which have been entangled around the shaft.
