Frequently Asked Questions - LC50-SP Cocraft

What batteries does the Cocraft LC50-SP laser level use?
The laser level uses three AA/LR6 batteries. Note the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
How do I switch between self-levelling and manual levelling?
To use manual levelling, first turn the power switch OFF, then press the manual levelling button [ ] (7). Press it again to deactivate manual mode.
What does it mean when the laser line flashes and the device beeps?
This indicates the laser level is tilted more than 5° during self-levelling. Place it on a level surface to stop the flashing and beeping.
Can I use the laser level outdoors?
Yes, but for outdoor use you need to activate Pulse Mode (press [P] (9)) and use an optional laser receiver (Clas Ohlson art.no 40-9978) to detect the beam.
How do I clean the laser level?
Always switch off the laser before cleaning. Use a lightly moistened cloth with mild cleaning agents. Never use solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Is it safe to look into the laser beam?
No. Never point the laser at people or animals and never look into the beam. Even class II lasers can cause permanent eye damage. Do not use optical instruments to view the beam.
Why won't the laser turn on?
