Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fluctuation or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.

To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:

1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed in accordance with applicable electrical codes according to EN.
2. It is recommended that to install residual current protection (RCD) for better protection with nominal tripping current not exceeding 30 mA in the bathroom electrical circuit. Ask your electrician for advice.
3. Never use the hair straightener if the power cord is damaged. All repairs, including cord replacements, must be carried out at a professional service centre! Do not remove the protective covers from the appliance; there is a risk of electric shock!
4. Protect the appliance from direct contact with water or other liquids to prevent possible electric shock. If the straightener falls into water, unplug the cord from the outlet immediately.
5. When using the appliance in the bathroom disconnect it after use by pulling the plug from the power supply, because the proximity of water presents danger even when the appliance is switched off.

6. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in a humid environment or touch the power cord or appliance with wet hands. Risk of electric shock. Do not leave the appliance in places exposed to direct sunlight or another heat source, it could cause damage.

7. Pay close attention when you are using the appliance near children!

8. The appliance should not be left unattended when in operation. We recommend that for safety reasons you switch off the hair dryer whenever you set it aside.
9. Do not turn the appliance on or off by plugging or unplugging the power cord. Always switch off the appliance using the main switch first, then pull the power cord out of the outlet.
10. We recommend that you do not leave the appliance with plugged in power cable unattended. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to any maintenance. Do not remove the power cord from the outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the power cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
11. This appliance is equipped with a safety fuse to prevent overheating. If the air intake is covered, the appliance shuts off automatically. After a short time needed for cooling it switches on again. Make sure that the grilles for air intake and outlet are free when using the appliance.
12. Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces or run the cord over sharp edges. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
13. Unplug the appliance immediately after you are done using it and let the appliance cool completely before putting away.
14. Do not use accessories, which were not recommended by the manufacturer.
15. Use the appliance only in accordance with instructions in this user manual. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
16. Never use the appliance in combination with hair spray or another aerosol product.
17. This appliance is intended for household use and similar areas, such as: - appliances used by guests in hotels, motels and other residential places; - appliances used in bed and breakfast establishments.
18. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and people with reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of

experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance operations performed by the user shall not be carried out by children without supervision. Children under the age of 8 must keep away from the appliance and the power supply.

WARNING:

Do not use this appliance close to bathtubs, showers, washbasins or other places containing water.

DANGER for children: Children may not play with the packaging material. Do not let children play with the plastic bags. Risk of suffocation.

Do not touch the ceramic roller, it may be hot. The curling iron may only be used on dry hair!

Do not immerse in water!

USING THE APPLIANCE

Basic instructions

Note: We recommend that people with dyed, fragile, damaged and fine hair use lower degree setting. We recommend that people with healthy, strong and resilient hair use a higher temperature setting to save time and effort.

• For optimum results, first wash your hair with shampoo and treat it with conditioner. Dry your hair thoroughly and make sure that it is not tangled before using the curling iron.
• The curling iron is not suitable for synthetic wigs and hair extensions.

Using the curling iron

1. Carefully place the curling iron on a firm, flat and heat resistant surface and make sure that the surface is not in contact with the roller.
2. Plug the curling iron in the electrical outlet and turn it on using the switch ②. The LED indicator ④ lights up with the temperature indicator and the curling iron starts heating up. You can switch the operating temperature by pressing ③ from 80 °C to 230 °C (indicated by LED ④). Press again ② to switch the curling iron off.
3. Heating to the operating temperature takes about 3 minutes. The curling iron is equipped with temperature control. Set the required temperature before use.
4. Switch off the curling iron after use and unplug it from the outlet. Before it cools down completely, we recommend to secure the curling iron in the heat -resistant case. Store the curling iron only after it cools completely.

Creating curls

1. Using the glove ⑤ take a strand of hair and wind it around the heated cone of the curling iron. When styling your hair, do not wind strands of hair, which are too thick around the cone.
2. Allow the heat to work about 10–20 seconds, depending on the structure and length of your hair.
3. Then pull the curling iron out. The smooth finish of the cone ensures easy slipping out of the curling iron from the curl.

4. After you pull the curling iron out of the curl, wind the curl around a finger and secure it with a hairpin.

5. Repeat until you achieve your desired hairstyle.

6. Before final styling let the hair cool off to ensure longer durability of the hair style.
7. When the curls cool down (in about 5–10 minutes), remove the hairpins and comb your hair with fingers.
8. You can complete the hair style by applying hair gel or hairspray.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• The unit does not contain inside any elements, which could be adjusted by the user, refer all repairs to qualified service personnel!
• Disconnect the appliance from the electrical output prior to performing any maintenance.
• Cleaning should always be performed on a cooled down appliance and regularly after every use!
• Clean the curling iron surface with slightly damp cloth and wipe it dry.
• Never immerse curling iron in water!
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives for cleaning.
• Before storing it, make sure that the curling iron is completely cooled down, clean and dry.
