How do I install the Smart Switch Dual Battery?

Installation requires a neutral wire. Turn off power at the circuit breaker, connect wires according to the diagram, mount the switch in the wall box, and restore power. Use the Tesla app for setup.

What happens during a power outage?

The dual battery backup automatically kicks in, keeping your connected devices powered for up to 4 hours. The switch will continue to operate normally.

How long does the battery last?

The battery lasts up to 4 hours under typical load. Battery life depends on the connected load. The batteries are rechargeable and will recharge when mains power is restored.

Can I use this switch with Alexa or Google Home?

Yes, the Smart Switch Dual Battery is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit. Enable the Tesla skill or action in your preferred assistant app.

What is the maximum load I can connect?

The switch supports up to 10A resistive load (e.g., lighting) and 5A inductive load (e.g., motors). Do not exceed these limits to avoid damage.

How do I reset the switch?

To reset, press and hold the button on the device for 10 seconds until the LED flashes. This will restore factory settings and disconnect from the app.

Does the switch monitor energy usage?

Yes, the switch has built-in energy monitoring. You can view real-time and historical energy consumption in the Tesla app.

What if the battery stops charging?

- The smart scene switch is based on ZigBee technology, with stable network, fast response, high security, strong expansion ability, and low power consumption.

- The ZigBee smart scene switch can be used with other smart devices to realize rich home automation and scene control.

Connection and Operation

Quick Configure Mode

Press and hold the switch reset button for 10s until indicate LED flash, the switch get into Quick Configure Mode.

Install/Replace Battery

Please follow this instruction to install battery or remove battery tap when first time use this product.

1. Push the front panel to the left to open

1. Remove old battery then push new CR2430 battery to slot.

After replacing the battery, the smart scene switch will automatically connect to the ZigBee/ network and resume normal working status, and the user does not need to make any APP settings.

APP Operation

1 Preparation for use

- Tesla Smart is available for both iOS and Android OS. Search the name 'Tesla Smart' in App Store or Android Market, or scan the QR-Code to download the App and register or login your account.

• Make sure that the smartphone is connected to the 2.4Ghz network.

2 ADD Devices (ZigBee)

- Press and hold any button of the switch get into Quick Configure Mode.

- Open the App, press and hold any button to get into network pairing mode. Open the App, on the "Tesla Smart ZigBee Hub" page, click "add subdevice", and click "LED already blink".

•search nearby device and discover the Tesla Smart Switch Quatro Battery.

•After adding the device successfully, click "DONE"

• After connecting the network successfully, you will see the Intelligent Gateway page, choose the „Tesla Smart Switch Quatro Battery“ to enter the controlling page, then choose „Add intelligence“ enter to the setting mode.

- Choose „Add condition“ to choose the controlling condition, such as „Sin-

gle click", the choose „Add task" choose the controlling action.
