In order to achieve best possible results we recommend using exclusively original Zelmer accessories. They have been specially designed for this product.
Please read this instruction manual carefully. Pay special attention to important safety instructions. Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
Important safety instructions
Read this entire manual carefully before using the appliance. If the instructions for correct use of the appliance are not observed, the manufacturer's liability for any resulting damage will be excluded.
Make sure that you understand the below safety precautions.

DANGER! / WARNING! Health hazard
- Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
- Risk of injury from sharp blades/rotating drive!
- Never grip the blade in the blender foot. Never clean the blades with bare hands. Use a brush.
- Avoid contact with the moving parts.
- Switch off and unplug the appliance before changing any accessories or approaching the moving parts.
- Do not touch the blade while it is operating as it is very sharp. After the appliance has been switched off the blade will continue to rotate a moment longer.
- Observe the following safety precautions while using the mini food processor:
- The edge of the blade is very sharp. Always hold the blade by the plastic handle. Handle with care to avoid any cuts.
• Always place the container on a clean, level surface.
• Grip the blender firmly during use.
- The universal cutter is not microwave-safe.
Risk of scalding!
- Do not use the appliance with hot oil, as there is a risk of burns due to splashing.
- Caution when processing hot liquids. Liquids may splash during processing.
- When processing hot milk, use a tall, narrow receptacle for blending. Hot milk may splash and scald you.
- Do not operate the appliance with the cable still coiled.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord and/or appliance are damaged.

To prevent injury, a damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service or a similarly qualified person. Only our customer service may repair the appliance.

This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- Repairs may only be undertaken by qualified staff. Improper repairs may result in serious injuries to the user. In case of malfunction, contact specialized service centre.
• Make sure that the lid of the mini food processor is closed before operating the appliance. - Do not detach any elements while the blender is in motion.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only.
- Only use the appliance indoors at room temperature and up to 2000 m above sea level.
- Be careful when cleaning, emptying the container and manipulating with cutting blades. Careless use can result in injuries.

CAUTION!
Risk of property damage
The appliance may only be plugged to an electrical socket (alternating current only) with voltage corresponding to the voltage indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.
Never insert metal utensils, such as knives or forks, into the inside of the cowl while the appliance is operating.
Do not operate the blending foot without a workload; when mixing liquids, do not immerse more than half of the foot in the liquid.
Do not place the power cord over sharp edges or hot surfaces.
Never place blender foot on hot surfaces or use in very hot food. Leave hot food to cool down to at least 80°C before processing with the blender! Before using the hand blender in a cooking pot, take the pot off the hotplate.
Operate the hand blender with original accessories only.
Do not attach or remove tools until the appliance is at a standstill.
Recommendation: Never switch on the appliance for longer as you need to processing the ingredients.
The blender jug is not suitable for use in the microwave.
Do not unplug the appliance by pulling the power cord.
Do not overload the appliance by processing too much food at one time or pressing too hard.
Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Do not use aggressive detergents such as emulsion, milk, paste, etc. as they can remove the graphic symbols such as scales, markings, warning signs, etc.
Be careful, not to flood the inside of the blending foot.
Do not process continuously more than one portion. Before the next use, let the appliance cool down to room temperature.
Do not wash metal parts in a dishwasher. Aggressive cleaning agents used in such appliances cause tarnishing and dulling to metal elements. Wash by hand, using traditional dishwashing liquids.

Information on the product and tips for use
The appliance is only suitable for cutting or mixing food. It must not be used for processing other objects or substances.
Please keep the operating instructions in a safe place.
if passing on the appliance to a third party, always include the operating instructions. If the instructions for correct use of the appliance are not observed, the manufacturer's liability for any resulting damage will be excluded.
Manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by unintended use or improper handling of the blender and its accessories.

To fix the support to a wall, drill two holes and attach the support by means of the wall plugs and screws supplied with the appliance.
Use
The blender is suitable for preparing mayonnaise, puree, compotes, milkshakes, jams, baby food or for chopping up small quantities of walnuts or almonds.

The blender is not suitable for preparing mashed potato.

Before assembling and removing the blending foot, make sure, that the plug of the supplying cord is disconnected from the power outlet.
- Slot the foot (5) onto the blender's motor housing (1) and twist it to the left (anticlockwise) D.
- Place the food you wish to process with the blender into the corresponding jug (7).
- Hold the blender and the jug. To stop the food from splashing out during use, only switch the blender on or off when the foot is immersed in the food being processed. To switch the blender on, press button (2) E. For maximum speed, press button (3) E.
SPEED SELECTOR

The speed selector allows you to adjust the speed to the type of food being processed. Low speeds are suitable for starting the blending process, churning, beating and mixing ingredients, as well as whipping egg whites. Higher speeds are suitable for beating eggs, preparing batters, etc.

If the universal cutter is not included with the hand blender it can be ordered from customer service (order no. 640686).

The mini food processor blades are very sharp. Be very careful when assembling, disassembling and cleaning. Never disassemble the lid from the container before the disc stops rotating.

Never touch the blade of the mini food processor!

Never clean the blade of the mini food processor by hand! Always use a brush.

The blade of the mini food processor must only be held by the plastic handle.
OPERATING THE MINI FOOD PROCESSOR

To mince meat, chop hard cheeses, onions, aromatic herbs, garlic, fruit, vegetables, nuts and almonds (see the table 1).

Before mincing meat remove any bones or gristle.

It is not allowed to grind hard products such as coffee beans, nutmeg and ice cubes.

Before assembling and removing the motor unit out of the mini food processor, make sure that the plug of the supplying cord is disconnected from the power outlet.
- Place the mini food processor container (9) down on a flat, clean surface.
• Fit the blade (10) into the mini food processor container. - Place the food you wish to process in the container.
- Fit the lid (11) onto the mini food processor container and twist it to the right (clockwise) until it clicks shut.
- Place the motor unit onto the lid with gear (11) and twist it to the right (clockwise).
- Hold the motor unit and the mini food processor and switch the appliance ON/OFF.
• Fit the lid (12) to protect the processed food Ⓗ.
Examples of use:
Grated cheese for pasta dishes
Blend 200 g of moderately hard cheese (Emmental, etc.) for ten second to obtain a thickly grated cheese, ideal for sprinkling over pasta dishes.

Only fit or remove the whisk when the appliance is switched off.

Never insert the whisk directly in the motor unit without using the whisk gear.
USING WHISK ATTACHMENT

To whip cream, egg whites or milk (cold milk, maximum temperature 8°C).
- Slot the drive mechanism into the blender's motor unit and twist it to the left (anticlockwise).
- Slot the whisk into the drive mechanism.
- Place the food you wish to whisk into the jug.
- Hold the blender and the jug. Press the on/off button.

For better results, lean the whisk is a small angle and make round movements with it inside the bowl.
Cleaning and maintenance

Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• After each use of the appliance carefully wash all parts in contact with processed product.
- After washing the blender accessories dry them and store in a dry place.
MOTOR HOUSING
• Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth only.

Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
BLENDING FOOT
- Do not immerse the foot in water as this will ruin the lubrication on the bearings.
- The blade of the blending foot should be washed under running water without using any abrasive detergents.
• Do not clean the foot in a dishwasher. - Dry the blender foot in an upright position (blender blade face up) so that any trapped water can run out.
WHISK
• Take the whisk out of the motor unit.
- Wash the whisk in the dishwasher. The motor unit must only be cleaned with a damp cloth.

Never immerse the lid of the mini food processor with whisk gear in water and do not wash in the dishwasher. Do not use steam cleaners!
MINI FOOD PROCESSOR

Never immerse the lid of the mini food processor with gear (11) in water! Do not wash it in the dishwasher!
• Take the motor unit off the adapter (11).
- Twist the lid (11) to the left (anticlockwise) and remove the mini food processor (9).
- Hold the blade by the plastic handle and remove it.
- The mini food processor container, container lid (12) and the blade are dishwasher safe.
- The mini food processor lid with gear must only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Disposal
Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner. This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU concerning used electrical and electronic appliances (waste electrical and electronic equipment – WEEE). The guideline determines the framework for the return and recycling of used appliances as applicable throughout the EU. Please ask your specialist retailer about current disposal facilities.
