We assume that the user is familiar with the common procedures of handling household appliances.

Before using the appliance for the first time please read carefully and thoroughly through these operating instructions and the safety advice, completely familiarising yourself with the appliance. Retain these instructions for future reference and pass them on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

Intended use

This appliance is intended exclusively for the processing of small quantities of foodstuffs that can be shredded. It is not intended for the processing of liquids.

It is also designed exclusively for use in private households. This also includes observance of all information in these operating instructions, particularly the safety instructions. All other uses are deemed to be improper and can result in property damage or even in personal injury. We shall not accept liability for damages caused due to improper use of the appliance.

Important Safety Instructions

Please keep this instruction manual in a safe place, along with the warranty card, purchase receipt and carton for future reference. The safety precautions enclosed here in reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to.

  • Connect the chopper only to properly installed power sockets with a mains voltage of 220 -240 V and 50 Hz / 60 Hz.
  • The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
  • The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.
  • Unplug the device from the socket if you notice any faulty operation and when you decide to clean it. Always remove the power cable from the socket by pulling on the plug, do not pull on the cable itself.
  • Do not crease or crimp the power cable and place the power cable in such a way to prevent anyone from stepping or tripping over it.
  • To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.

  • To avoid potentially fatal risks, arrange for a defective power plug and/or cable to be replaced at once by a qualified technician.

  • Never grasp the appliance, the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
  • Separate the chopper from the mains supply immediately after use. The appliance is completely free of electrical power only when you unplug it.
  • It is necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times, because it comes into direct contact with food.
  • WARNING: The chopping blades are very sharp, avoid physical contact during emptying and cleaning the device, you can seriously injure.
  • CAUTION: The motor assembly must not be immersed in water for cleaning. Follow the instructions provided in the chapter "Cleaning".
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance shall not be used by children from 0 year to 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.

Risk of personal injury!

  • Handle the extremely sharp blade with caution, holding by its shaft, otherwise it can cause injuries. Reassemble the chopper after using and cleaning it so that you do not injure yourself with the blade.
  • Keep the blade out of the reach of children.
  • Never attempt to remove foodstuffs from the bowl as long as the blade is still running, wait until the blade has stopped rotating. NEVER try to grasp the still rotating blade!

Description of the appliance

Before the first use

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10cm. free space around the device.
  • Before using your appliance for the first time, wash the cover and bowl in warm and soapy water, and then dry thoroughly. Be extremely careful cleaning the blades, as they are very sharp. Wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.

Operating the appliance

This appliance has push-button operation. The motor will run as long as you keep the switch pressed down.

IMPORTANT:

  • The appliance is suited for a short-term operation of a maximum of 15 seconds at a time. Allow it to cool down before using it again.
  • Do not start-up if there is nothing in the chopper. Avoid the blades rub with the glass bowl.

  • Prepare the items to be processed by cutting large pieces to a size that will fit in the bowl.

  • Fit the blade onto the axis of bowl and place the ingredients to be chopped in the bowl.

  • Place the lid onto the bowl and over the axle of the blades.

  • Fit the power unit.

  • Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

  • Press the ON/OFF pulse button. The blade rotates as long as you keep the button pressed. The motor stops as soon as it is released.

NOTE: Hold the bowl firmly with one hand and the motor unit with the other hand while processing food.

  1. If the appliance is overloaded, remove some of the mixture and continue processing in several batches.

TIP: When chopping hard foods (e.g. meat, cheese) cut into cubes with 2-3cm.

  1. If the ingredients stick to the side of the bowl, stop the appliance, remove the power head and the cover. Use a spatula to dislodge the pieces and then replace the cover and the power head. Continue processing.
  2. Do not run the chopper continuously for longer than 15 seconds. Leave to cool for 2 minutes in between each 15 seconds operation.
  3. After use remove the power plug from the socket and dismantle.

NOTE: This product cannot chop hard things, such as: Meat with bones, soya bean, pepper, coffee bean, ice cubes and freezing food.

WARNING – RISK OF INJURY! Never attempt to remove food from the bowl while the blade is still turning. There is a risk of injury and food can also spray out and make a mess.

NOTE:

- The motor unit is fitted with a safety switch:

If the appliance does not start, check if the motor housing, protective cover and blade are correctly fitted.

Cleaning and Maintenance

WARNING:

• Always remove the plug from the socket when the device will be cleaned.
- Do not submerge the motor unit in water! It could lead to electric shock or fire.
- The cutting surface of the blades is sharp. There is a risk of injury! Handle these with the necessary care, ideally by its shaft.

- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.

- Never immerse the motor in water or any other liquid. The motor is not dishwasher proof.

- The bowl, the blade and the lid can be washed in the upper basket of the dishwasher.

- The bowl cannot heat by microwave oven, and do not wash with warm water more than 50 degrees.

- Some food will discolor; it won't harm the plastic or affect the flavor of your food.

CO Time

The C.O. Time (Continuous Operation) details how long an appliance may be used without the motor overheating and being damaged. After the appliance has run for this period, it must be switched off until the motor has cooled itself down.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  1. The product is guaranteed for the period stipulated by the legislation where it is placed on the market, starting from the date of purchase, against manufacturing defects and/or workmanship. The lack of conformity manifested in this period is presumed to exist at the date of purchase. After this period, it is for the customer to prove that the lack of conformity already existed at the time of delivery.

  2. If, during the warranty period, the product is defective in normal use, the buyer should contact the selling establishment and send the appliance to the place indicated by the seller.

  3. The warranty is only valid upon presentation of the invoice proving the purchase and the completed warranty certificate (indicating the date of purchase, the name of the dealer, the reference of the model, and it is also recommended to indicate the serial number and lot number).
  4. The importer/seller reserves the right to refuse warranty assistance in the event that such information has been deleted or altered after the original purchase of the product.
  5. The responsibility of the importer/seller includes in particular the costs of repairing and/or replacing the unit covered by the warranty with the reservation of the right to replace it with an equivalent product, in cases where it is not possible to repair it.
  6. The warranty does not apply to problems that are not directly related to defects in material, design or workmanship.
  7. This product is an appliance and is intended for home use only. The warranty will be void if the product is used for professional purposes.
  8. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, spillage, external factors, or intentional damage.
  9. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from falls, use of excessive force, blows, exposure to extreme environmental conditions or deterioration caused by the normal use of plastic parts or keyboards, as well as the use of batteries other than those specified in this manual.
  10. The warranty does not cover installation and programming by the dealer. In particular, no claim for installation and free programming by the reseller may be accepted.
  11. The warranty does not cover deficiencies that insignificantly impair the operation of the appliance. Other costs, such as installation, transportation and travel of the technician are expressly excluded from the warranty.
  12. The applicability of the warranty presupposes that the appliance is sent to the seller or place indicated by him, complete and in well-protected packaging (if possible, in its original packaging) and accompanied by its sheet or warranty card duly filled out and proof of purchase.
  13. If after verification, it is found that there are no reasons for the claim, or that the product is not defective, the inherent costs will be imputed to the customer, and the dealer is authorized to charge those costs to the customer.
  14. The warranty will be void when it shows signs that an unauthorized person has attempted to carry out repairs, modifications or replacement of parts on the appliance.
  15. Repairs carried out after the end of the warranty period are subject to costs.
  16. This warranty does not affect your legal rights that you may have as a consumer under applicable national law governing the purchase of products where the product is sold.
  17. Warranty Period:
