Thank you for having chosen a HAEGER product.

The HAEGER products have been produced to think about the welfare of the consumer privileging the most raised standards of quality, functionality and assign. We are sure you will be happy with this appliance.

We assume that the user is familiar with the common procedures of household appliances.

Before using your new appliance for the first time please read carefully and thoroughly through these operating instructions and the safety advice, completely familiarising yourself with the appliance. Retain these instructions for future reference and pass them on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

Intended use

This multi-use chopper is intended exclusively for the processing of small quantities of boneless foodstuffs. It is not intended for the processing of liquids.

This universal food processor is also designed exclusively for use in private households. This also includes observance of all information in these operating instructions, particularly the safety instructions. All other uses are deemed to be improper and can result in property damage or even in personal injury. We shall not accept liability for damages caused due to improper use of the appliance.

General Safety Instructions

  • Connect the universal food processor only to properly installed power sockets with a mains voltage of 220 - 240V and 50Hz .
  • To avoid potentially fatal risks, arrange for a defective power plug and/or cable to be replaced at once by a qualified technician.
  • Unplug the universal food processor from the socket if you notice any faulty operation and when you decide to clean it. Always remove the power cable from the socket by pulling on the plug, do not pull on the cable itself.
  • Do not crease or crimp the power cable and place the power cable in such a way to prevent anyone from stepping or tripping over it.
  • Do not submerse the motor block of the universal food processor in liquids at any time and do not permit liquids to penetrate into the housing of the motor block.

  • NEVER subject the appliance to moisture and do not use it outdoors. If by chance liquids do enter into the housing, unplug the appliance from the power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.

  • Never grasp the universal food processor, the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
  • Should the power cable or motor block become damaged, arrange for the universal food processor to be repaired by a qualified specialist before using it again. Do not open the motor block housing of the universal food processor. Should you do so, appliance safety can no longer be assured and the warranty becomes void.
  • Separate your universal food processor from the mains supply immediately after use. The appliance is completely free of electrical power only when you unplug it.

Special safety instructions

  • The appliance may be used by children 8 years or older and by persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities, if they are under supervision or if they have been instructed in the use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential risks. Children must not carry out cleaning and maintenance of the appliance, unless they are 8 years or older and under supervision. Children younger than 8 years have to be kept away from the appliance and its power supply.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Handle the extremely sharp blade with caution, it can cause injuries. Reassemble the universal food processor after using and cleaning it so that you do not injure yourself with the blade.
  • Keep the blade out of the reach of children.
  • Never attempt to remove foodstuffs from the vessel as long as the blade is still running, wait until the knife has stopped rotating. NEVER try to grasp the still rotating knife blade!
  • Do not run the universal food processor for more than 1 minute at a time. After this period allow it to cool down.

Instructions for use

How to use

Before using the appliance for the first time, clean it thoroughly.

  • Place the motor unit on the table.
  • Put the chopping bowl on the motor unit.
  • Fit the chopping blade on to the blade holder inside the bowl by pressing down on the blade body until you hear it click in place.

The blade cutter is extremely sharp, handle it with care.

  • Cut the ingredients up into pieces and place them in the bowl.

Never place any liquid or juicy food in the bowl.

  • Fit chopping switch lid onto bowl.
  • Only then plug the multi-food chopper to power socket.
  • Press on the chopping switch lid to start the chopper.
  • To stop the chopper, let go of the lid.

Always wait until the blade has totally stopped before removing the lid.

  • Unplug the chopper after each use.
  • To remove the blade; first take the bowl in both hands, press the top button with your index finger, then lift off the bowl and the chopping blade together.

Cleaning

  • You can put the chopping bowl, the blade, the lid and the spatula in a dishwasher.
  • Don't put the motor unit under a tap water, but clean it with a damp cloth.

Guarantee

This unit is covered by a 24 months (*) warranty, from the purchase date, and covers the repair free of charges of the damaged due to the manufacturer fault or defected components. The distributor reserves the right to change the unit for an equivalent model.

The warranty does not cover any damaged caused by incorrect use, lightning, incorrect installation, external factors or any intentional damaged. The warranty does not cover damage thus attributable to falls, blows, spill, exposure to extreme environmental conditions or deterioration caused by normal use of plastic parts or keyboards, as well as by the use of batteries other than those specified in this manual.

For the repairing, during the warranty period, the unit shall be sent to the distributor or reseller, or to the address indicated by them, and must be jointed the warranty certificated and the respective original invoice or selling ticket, where the buying date is expressed indicated.

The consumer is protected by the guarantee provided by Directive 1999/44/CE of European Parliament and Council of 25 May.
