SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

- To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove any of the covers. This device contains parts that are not accessible to the user.

- Do not place vessels filled with liquids, such as vases or watering cans, on the device.

- Do not drop metal objects on this device.

- Do not place any heavy objects on the device.

- Only use accessories and add-on parts that have been approved by the manufacturer.

- Pull the plug out of the socket if there is a thunderstorm, a storm or if you are not going to use the device for a long period of time. This way, you can prevent damage.

- Have repairs carried out by qualified specialists only.

- Repair is required if the device has been damaged in any way, i.e. if objects have fallen on it, if it is not working properly or if it has been dropped. Do not try to repair the device yourself. Opening the cover exposes you to the risk of electric shock and other personal injury.

- Do not pull, bend or place heavy objects on the cord.

- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

- Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on the device.

- Never let the pump run empty.

- Only operate the pump in aquariums and only at temperatures up to a maximum of 50 °C.

Setting up

- Do not place the solar panel in hollows or holes where water is likely to accumulate. Please ensure that you select a level setup location with a firm base. You can place the filter pump in the aquarium cabinet or next to the aquarium, for example. Raise the position of the pump if the aquarium wall exceeds the maximum height.

- Do not place the device on other devices that may become hot. This heat could damage the device.

Transporting the unit

Please keep the original packaging. To achieve sufficient protection when transporting the unit, pack the unit in the original packaging.

Getting Started

1	As shown in figure 1, the locking buckles (1 and 2) should first be unfolded,releasing the lid from the body.
2	Insert the drainage basket into the housing after inserting the appropriate filtermedium. Put the lid back on and close with the two closing flaps (1 and 2).
3	Pull the safety cap to remove the spigots. First bring the hoses and theaquarium-side parts together and finally connect the hoses to the pumpnozzles. Finally, put the nozzle part back in place.

4	Install the unit as shown in figure 4. Attention: The curved tube (7) with the spray tube (9) is intended for the filter outlet! The other curved pipe (13) is intended for the filter inlet together with the skimmer.
5	Press the blue button down firmly and release it again immediately. When it comes back, it draws water into the pump (if all hoses and parts are properly and tightly connected). As soon as the water level in the outlet pipe/hose corresponds to that of the aquarium, you can connect the unit to your house electricity.
6	Under the transparent cover you will find the on/off switch.

Change the illuminant

• Carefully lift the lid and place it upside down.
• Loosen the screw and remove the frame of the quartz cylinder.
• Slowly and carefully turn the cylinder anticlockwise and carefully remove it.
• Pull out the old fluorescent tube and replace it with a new one.
• Be sure to use an identical model.
