INTENDED USE

The wind machine is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial use.

Only use the wind machine as described in this operating manual.

1. Only operate with free air inlet and outlet; ensure at least 1 m of free space in front of and behind the device.
2. Do not use in potentially explosive areas (ATEX) or in rooms with corrosive or flammable gases/vapors.
3. Do not operate in the rain, outdoors, or in wet environments (bathroom, shower, swimming pool).
4. Never insert fingers, tools, textiles, or other objects through the protective grille; keep hair and loose clothing away.
5. Only operate the device on a stable, level surface; do not place any objects on the device or attach anything to it.
6. Do not leave the device running unattended; switch it off when leaving the room.
7. Children under 8 years of age and persons with limited abilities may only use the device under supervision and after instruction; children must not play with the device.
8. Check before connecting: The mains voltage and frequency must correspond to the type plate (220–240 V\~, 50 Hz; 1000 W; Schuko).

1. Only operate on properly grounded sockets; sockets must not be damaged or loose.

2. Avoid using extension cables; if necessary, only use tested, fully unrolled, grounded cables with a sufficient conductor cross-section.

3. Lay the 5 m supply cable (3×0.75 mm ^2 ) without kinks, shearing, or tension; do not run over it, pinch it, or run it along hot surfaces.

4. Never plug or unplug the device with wet hands and never pull on the cable – always hold the plug.

5. Only use the integrated speed control; do not connect any external dimmers/controllers.

6. High volume flow (up to approx. 21,060 m³/h) creates strong air currents – secure small, light objects.

7. The sound pressure level may be perceived as disturbing in noise-sensitive areas – select the operating time and distance accordingly.

8. When moving, use only the integrated castors; securely lock the parking brakes before operation.

9. Only stack devices of the same design on a stable, level surface; do not operate if unstable.

10. Before cleaning, maintenance, or moving: Switch off the device and disconnect the power plug.

11. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth with a mild cleaning agent for cleaning; do not use aggressive agents or immerse the device in water.

12. Do not bend the protective grille or blades; after cleaning, check that all screws/covers are securely fastened.

1. Keep the motor ventilation openings free of dust; carefully remove any accumulated dust.
2. Do not make any modifications or alterations; use only original replacement parts/accessories (otherwise the warranty/guarantee will be void).
3. Do not operate the device if the power cord or plug is damaged; replacement only by the manufacturer/service workshop.
4. Store the device in a dry, child-proof, and dust-free place; do not operate it in confined spaces or cabinets (risk of overheating/fire).
5. Do not dispose of this product with household waste; use designated collection points for recycling.
6. The information on the type plate and in the complete operating instructions applies; national regulations and company occupational safety rules must be observed.
7. Do not carry by the protective grille, only by the frame; lift with two people during transport; check stability before operation, lock parking brakes.

SAFETY TIPS FOR THE POWER CORD

1. If the power cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department, or a suitably qualified specialist—otherwise there is a risk of accident.
2. Never pull on the cord or jerk the device.
3. Always plug the connector into the connector housing and insert it straight into the socket.
4. To disconnect from the mains: grasp the plug by the housing and pull it straight out of the socket.
5. Check the power cord for cuts or abrasions before each use. Do not use the device if it is damaged – send it to our service department or an authorized specialist for maintenance and cord replacement.
6. Do not wrap the cable tightly around the device. Excessive bending or pulling can damage the cable.
7. Do not operate the device if the power cord is damaged or if it only works intermittently.

DESCRIPTION OF INDIVIDUAL PARTS

ASSEMBLY

1.) No assembly required. The device is completely pre-assembled.
2.) Before first use: Place the device on a level surface and lock the parking brake(s) on the casters (5) to ensure that the wind machine is stable.

OPERATION

Check voltage

Ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the type plate.

Switch on & select speed

Use the speed control on the back of the device to the selected speeds: 0 (off) and speeds 1 and 2 for slow and high speeds.

Maintain a safe distance

Never touch the fan blades and do not insert any objects through the protective grille.

Take care of the power cord

Do not pull on the cable or jerk it suddenly. If the cable is damaged or operation is interrupted, do not use the device and have it checked by the manufacturer/authorized service center.

Cleaning

a) Switch off and unplug the device. Allow the device to cool down.
b) Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
c) Do not use polish, solvents, abrasives, or corrosive agents; do not allow water to enter the device.
d) If applicable to this model: Carefully remove the protective grille and blades (do not drop them), clean them, and reattach them securely.

Before the next use

Check that the protective grille and blades are securely in place, that the air inlets/outlets are unobstructed, that the unit is stable, and that the parking brakes are engaged if applicable.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Caution! Allow the device to come to a complete stop before cleaning and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Use a soft cloth for cleaning. If dirt or contaminants cannot be easily removed, use warm soapy water.
3. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners (thinners), metal utensils, or hard brushes for cleaning, as these may damage the housing.
4. Do not immerse the wind machine in water or other liquids. No water should drip onto or into the motor housing of the wind machine.
5. Dry all components thoroughly before storing them.

WARRANTY

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision in favor of innovation, durability, and reliability.

We grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase for this BE COOL device, valid in Austria!

If, contrary to expectations, your device requires servicing during this period, we guarantee

free repair (spare parts and labor) or (at the discretion of Schuss) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.

In the case of air conditioners, please contact the customer hotline (see sticker on the device or cover page of the instruction manual) as a first step. For fans, please contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized repair shop in Austria will immediately void this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
• Damage due to failure to follow the operating instructions
• Devices that are used commercially, even if only partially
• Devices that have been mechanically damaged by external influences (falls, impacts, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
• Unmet consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, or power surges.
• Devices on which the type designation and/or serial number has been changed, deleted, made illegible, or removed.
• Services outside our authorized repair shops, transportation costs to an authorized repair shop or to us and back, and the associated risks.

We expressly point out that within the warranty period, a flat rate of €60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no fault is found.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the complete device description) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the device type and serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the device) must be noted! Without presentation of the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this warranty and remain in full force and effect. Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in cases of gross negligence or intent. In any case, liability for lost profits, expected but unrealized savings, consequential damages, and damages arising from third-party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
