Bike mini compressor CFMK 7 A1
- Introduction

Congratulations! You have chosen one of our high-quality products. Please familiarise yourself with the product before
using it for the first time. To do this, please read through the following operating and safety instructions carefully.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!
Intendeduse
The integrated compressor unit is designed exclusively for pumping up bike tyres, for example after a puncture. The pressure relief valve adapters are
not trade-approved. After pumping up bike tyres always take the shortest possible route to a service point which has a trade-approved device. Check the pressure of the bike tyres there. The device is not designed for use for anything other than the intended applications, in particular not for any type of car battery. The mini bike compressor is not designed for continuous operation to generate pressure for longer than 5 minutes at a time. Store these instructions in an easily accessible place. Ensure you hand over all documentation when passing the product on to a third party. Any use that differs to the intended use as stated is prohibited and potentially dangerous. Damage or injury caused by misuse and disregarding the above warning is not covered by the warranty or any liability on the part of the manufacturer. The device is not intended for commercial use. Commercial use will void the warranty. The product must only be started up initially by people who have been trained to do so.

■ If the cable is damaged, immediately unplug it from the plug socket.
Rechargeable battery packs:

CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD!
- Do not open and/or short-circuit the mini bike compressor 1. This could cause the device to overheat, ignite or explode.
- Do not expose the mini bike compressor to high temperatures. The battery could explode.
■ Regularly check the mini bike compressor for leakage. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause burns if they come into contact with skin. In this situation, always wear suitable safety gloves! Carefully wipe up the liquid with a cloth and avoid contact with skin and eyes. If the liquid should come into contact with your skin or eyes, immediately wash out with clean water and seek medical attention.
- Specific safety instructions
■ We recommend charging the mini bike compressor ☐ once a month.
■ A slightly increased temperature during charging is not a malfunction, but completely normal.
However, we do recommend leaving the mini bike compressor 1 to rest for 15 minutes before using.
- Protect the mini bike compressor from moisture and high temperatures, including fires.
■ Store the mini bike compressor in a dry place and protect the device from moisture and corrosion.
If you notice the mini bike compressor is leaking,
producing an unusual odour or looking deformed in any way, stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer.
- Do not drop the mini bike compressor while it is being used.
■ The mini bike compressor is designed exclusively for bike tyres. It is not suitable for car tyres or for inflating other inflatable items. Always check the maximum permissible pressure of your bicycle tyres before inflating them. Make sure that this pressure is never exceeded.
PLEASE NOTE: The pressure relief valve adapters 6, 7 are not trade-approved. After pumping up bike tyres always take the shortest possible route to a service point which has a trade-approved device. Check the pressure of the bike tyres there.
■ During inflation, high temperatures can be produced at the air outlet. There is a risk of burn injuries!
■ 'The device must not be used while it is being charged. There is a risk of overheating.
■ The device must only be used with the valve adapters supplied with the product 6, 7. Operating it without these adapters or with third-party adapters is not permitted.
• Using the device
- Charging the mini bike compressor
The mini bike compressor can be charged with an appropriate USB A plug such as, for example, an appropriate USB AC adapter (operating peak output voltage U_out,max 5 V)
To do this connect the USB cable to the USB-C charge input of the device. Then connect the USB cable with an appropriate USB power connection or an appropriate USB plug socket.
If the On/Off button is flashing red, then the rechargeable battery pack is empty and must be charged.
During the charging process, the On/Off button flashes green. When it lights up green continuously, the rechargeable battery pack is fully charged.
PLEASE NOTE: USB AC adapter not included in the scope of delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: An undervoltage protection circuit is installed in the mini bike compressor 1 to protect the device from damage. This prevents a deep discharge of the mini bike compressor 1 and automatically switches the device off once the rechargeable battery pack is fully discharged. In this case, the device can no longer be switched on or used. Please re-charge the mini bike compressor 1, as described.
PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons the device cannot be charged if a battery cell is defective or deeply discharged. In this case, please contact our service point.
• Using the mini bike compressor for the first time
Depending on bike valve you are using, fit either the valve adapter for the Schrader valve 6 or the valve adapter for the Presta valve 7
To do this screw the valve adapter onto the compressed air outlet 3 of the mini bike compressor 1
- Using the mini bike compressor
Presta valve:
■ Remove the cap of the Presta valve.
- Unscrew the valve of on the knurled screw slightly, in order to allow some airflow.
- With the valve adapter for Presta value fitted, put the mini bike compressor onto the valve so that it is firmly in place and level.
Schrader valve:
■ Remove the cap of the Schrader valve.
- With the valve adapter for Schrader valves fitted, put the mini bike compressor onto the valve so that it is firmly in place and level.
■ Switch the mini bike compressor on by pressing the On/Off button of the compressor 2.
As soon as approx. 3 bar is reached for Schrader valve adapter or 7 bar for Presta valve adapters ^7 , then the integrated pressure relief valve will release air.
■ Switch the mini bike compressoroff by pressing the On/Off button of the compressor 2 again.
■ Proceed as described above in reverse order, to disconnect the mini bike compressor 1 from the respective valve and closing off that valve.
ATTENTION: Use the mini bike compressor 1 with the appropriate valve adapters only on tyres, which are suitable for the pressure range which is stated on the valve adapters. Excessive pressure can damage tyres or cause dangerous accidents.
PLEASE NOTE: When disconnecting the mini bike compressor 1 from the valve, air may escape from the valve. So make sure you disconnect the device from the valve as quickly as possible. Air can also can escape from the valve if the valve adapter is fitted at an angle.
ATTENTION: During operation, the compressed air outlet and the valve adapter of the mini bike compressor which is connected to it 1 will become hot. Make sure that you do not come into contact with it during operation to avoid suffering burns. At the end of the job, wait for at least 10 minutes before you disconnect the valve adapter from the mini bike compressor 1
PLEASE NOTE:
The pressure relief valve adapters 6, 7 are not trade-approved. After pumping up bike tyres always take the shortest possible route to a service point which has a trade-approved device. Check the pressure of the bike tyres there.
Tips for use
The device is not intended for continuous operation. The device was designed to create air pressure – not an air flow. Please do not use the device for more than 5 minutes at a time, to avoid overheating and damage to the device.
Safety fuse
If the device becomes overloaded or malfunctions, the safety fuse triggers to protect the device.
Never use a fuse with a higher release current strength. There is a risk of fire!
ATTENTION: To protect people and property, an overheat protection circuit has been installed for the rechargeable battery pack in the mini bike compressor 1. This prevents an overheating of the rechargeable battery pack installed in the device and automatically switches off the mini bike compressor 1 if the battery temperature is too high. If this happens, allow the device to cool down prior to using it again.
Attention: The compressor function must not be used while the mini bike compressor 1 is being charged. There is a risk of overheating.
- Troubleshooting
