If your Sutro seems to be experiencing a loss of water pressure, your mesh filters may be dirty or clogged and should be cleaned. Follow the steps below to clean the filters. If the pressure issue is not resolved after cleaning, see the Troubleshooting section at the end of this manual for other possible solutions.
Cleaning the T-Valve Mesh Filter
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Shut off the water supply valve at the wall.
- Disconnect the top bidet hose from the T-Valve only. Use pliers to remove the mesh filter. NOTE: You will need a bucket or towel to catch residual water within the hoses and valve.
- Clean the mesh filter with water and soft brush, then reinsert back into the T-Valve, with the "x" side facing up. Ensure the filter is pushed in all the way and reconnect bidet hose until secure.
- Slowly turn on the water supply valve and check for any leaks. Wait 5 minutes and check for leaks again before plugging the unit back into the GFCI outlet.

Cleaning the Bidet Inlet Mesh Filters
- Turn the unit off and unplug the power cord.
- Shut off the water supply valve at the wall and disconnect the bidet hose and flush hose from the T-Valve. You will need a bucket or towel to catch residual water within the hoses and valve.
- Remove the top bidet unit by grabbing the back-top corners of the bidet and gently, but firmly pulling up towards you to release the bidet from the ceramic base. Be careful not to damage any hoses, power cords, or connections as you remove the bidet.
- Lift the bidet over to expose the bottom and locate the large flush water supply hose and bidet hose connections.
- Disconnect the hoses and remove the mesh filters using pliers.
- Clean the mesh filters with water and a soft brush, then reinsert back into the bidet inlets, with the "x" side facing up. Ensure the filters are pushed in all the way.
- Reconnect the hoses and feed the bidet hose, flush hose, and power cord back through the ceramic base cavity, ensuring none of the water supply hoses become pinched or kinked.
- Reinstall the bidet seat onto the ceramic base; evenly press down until you hear the bidet snap into place.
- Reconnect the flush hose and bidet hose to the T-Valve.
- Turn on the water supply valve slowly and check for leaks. Wait 5 minutes and check for leaks again before plugging the unit back into the GFCI outlet.

2 Filters
Unplug the integrated bidet from the power source before cleaning the seat.
Use a soft, damp cloth and mild cleanser (such as dish soap, Simple Green or Windex) to wipe down the seat. DO NOT scrub or use harsh, abrasive products to clean. DO NOT use thinner, benzene, acidic chemicals, chloride, or hydrochloric acid detergent. This may result in corrosion to the metal parts or discoloration or scratches to the bidet body.
NOTE: Be cautious of leaving home and beauty products in contact with the bidet seat, the result of which can be irreversible discoloration. Most stains can be removed using a 1:1 mix of rubbing alcohol and water and a soft cloth or towel. However, some permanent stains are the result of substances left on the seat while the seat heater was activated. Be cautious of home and beauty products (including but not limited to various hair and air freshener sprays, lotions, body wash, skin tanners, body butters, and oils) that come in contact with the seat. Wash off any substances that come in contact with the seat as soon as possible.
UV Nozzle Cleaning
This unit includes an ultra-violet (UV) light for intensive nozzle cleaning, which automatically activates 10 seconds after leaving the seat. The UV light will stay active for 3 minutes. If the seat is activated within the 3-minute timeframe, the UV light will shut off.

- Press and hold the nozzle cleaning button for 3 seconds and the nozzle will extend.
NOTE: The nozzle cleaning function will not work while the seat is occupied or if the seat sensor is turned off.
-
Gently clean the nozzle manually with a soft cloth or toothbrush. Do not forcefully hold or press down on the nozzle otherwise damage can occur.
-
The nozzle tip can be removed for deep cleaning.
-
The nozzle will automatically retract after 4 minutes.

Step 4 nozzleCleaning the Deodorizer Vent
Cleaning the Deodorizer Vent
The deodorizer has a vent cover that prevents dust and particles from flowing into the deodorizer filter. Over time, the vent may get covered with dust, which may affect the deodorizer's efficiency, so this should be checked and cleaned regularly.
- Turn the unit off and unplug the power cord.
- Shut off the water supply valve at the wall and disconnect the bidet hose and flush hose from the T-Valve.
NOTE: You will need a bucket or towel to catch residual water within the hoses and valve.
-
Remove the top bidet unit by grabbing the back-top corners of the bidet and gently, but firmly pulling up towards you to release the bidet from the ceramic base. Be careful not to damage any hoses, power cords, or connections as you remove the bidet.
-
Using a soft cloth or toothbrush, gently brush the dust off the vent.
-
Feed the bidet hose, flush hose, and power cord back through the ceramic base cavity, ensuring none of the water supply hoses become pinched or kinked.
-
Reinstall the bidet seat onto the ceramic base; evenly press down until you hear the bidet snap into place.
-
Reconnect the flush hose and bidet hose to the T-Valve.
-
Turn on the water supply valve slowly and check for leaks. Wait 5 minutes and check for leaks again before plugging the unit back in.

Step 4Product Storage
Short Term Non-Use
If the product will not be used for more than a few weeks, you can simply unplug it. You may also consider shutting the water supply off at the wall for extra precaution.
Long Term Non-Use
If the product will not be used for an extended time (longer than 4 months), you should unplug the unit and shut the water supply off at the wall.
NOTE: During winter, the water inside may freeze after long periods of storage and non-usage. Before connecting the product to the water supply and electrical outlet, allow it to defrost for 30 mins in a warm indoor environment. In case of extreme cold or freezing, wrap the water supply hose with a warm towel. Never pour hot water or use a hot air dryer directly on or in the bidet or toilet.
