GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

• The device can be used by children aged 8 and over if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting dangers.
• Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
• Children under 8 years of age should be kept away from the device and the connecting cable.
• For the safety of children, keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, styrofoam, etc.) out of their reach.
• The device can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience / knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting dangers.
• The device must always be disconnected from the mains if there is no supervision and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning
• The appliance is designed exclusively for steaming and

smoothing standard textiles for private use. The steam straightener must be operated with steam. Use without water is not permitted.

• Only connect the device to a properly installed protective contact socket. The connecting cable and plug must be dry. The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage indicated on the nameplate of the device.

• Do not immerse the device in water or hold it under running water. If the device gets wet, pull out the power plug immediately.

• Switch off the device when cleaning or storing. Always pull the power plug out of the socket when the device is not in use and remove the supplied accessories.

• Do not operate the device without supervision. When you leave your workplace, always switch off the device or pull the plug out of the socket.

• Check devices and cables regularly for damage. Do not use the device if it is damaged.

• Do not repair the device yourself. An authorized technician should be contacted. The defective cable will be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service or an equivalent person with a cable of the same type.

• Never point the steamer directly at people or animals. The steam is very hot and can cause burns.

• The surfaces can get hot when the device is switched on and remain hot even after switching off! Let the device cool down before adding or removing accessories.

• Do not use your bare hand as a support during steaming. Never steam or smooth the textiles on your body.

• Do not place the head of the steamer on the power cord after use.

• The head of the steamer remains hot for some time after the appliance has been switched off.

• Do not use the device when the tank is empty and do not exceed the maximum water level. Thoroughly dry the water tank before you put it back in the device - risk of death from electric shock!

• If water needs to be refilled, always pull the power plug out of the socket.
• Never cover the device during operation.
• Never touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Always place the appliance on its base. Do not lay the steam straightener on its side.
• Never leave the device unattended when it is connected to the mains.
• The product has been designed for use with tap water. Never add other substances to the water. The textiles and / or the device can be damaged.
• In the event of misuse, incorrect operation or improper repairs, no liability is accepted for any damage. Guarantee services are also excluded in such cases.

Accessories:

USE

1. Completely unwind the power cord.
2. Pull out the stopper and fill the water tank up to the MAX mark.
3. If you want to use one of the brushes, attach it now. a. The textile brush improves the result with thick, firm and heavy fabrics such as coats and jackets. ATTENTION: Do not use on fine textiles, can cause damage. b. The lint brush is ideal for removing lint, hair or other impurities from textiles.
4. Insert the power plug into the socket and press the power button.
5. When the control lamp stops flashing, the operating temperature has been reached.
6. Press the power button again to select the eco or normal steam mode.
7. Press the steam trigger to start the steam output. You can activate continuous operation with the caps lock key.
8. Work the textiles until the desired result is achieved. The textiles can get slightly damp during steam ironing. Let the fabrics dry completely before putting them in the closet or putting them on.
9. When the water tank is empty, switch off the device by pressing the power button for 2 seconds, pull the plug and refill the tank.

AFTER USE & CLEANING

• Press the power button for 2 seconds to switch off the device.
• Pull the power plug out of the socket.
• Let the device cool down completely.
• Empty the water tank to avoid deposits.
• Wipe the device with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or detergents. Never immerse the device in water.

• Remove lint from the brush heads.

• Store the steamer, if possible upright, in a dry and clean place that is out of the reach of children. Do not wrap the power cord around the device.
