How to install the MJ-2000B-DWJ trailer jack?

Mount the jack following the provided diagram. Secure the mounting plate using the supplied bolts and nylock nuts. Ensure the trailer is secured (hitched to the towing vehicle) during installation. Tighten all bolts firmly.

What is the maximum lifting capacity?

The maximum capacity is 2000 pounds (approximately 907 kg). Never exceed this load.

How to swivel the jack?

Pull the pull pin, rotate the jack to the desired position, then release the pin to lock it. Perform this operation only when the trailer is securely attached to the vehicle.

Can this jack be used to change a tire?

No, this jack is designed for vertical trailer movement only, not for lifting the trailer for maintenance or tire changes. Use a suitable jack.

What maintenance is required?

Clean occasionally with mild soap and water. Lubricate pivot points with light oil. Once a year, apply automotive grease to the internal gear by removing the cover. Also lubricate the caster wheel axle.

How to adjust the jack height?

Turn the crank clockwise to raise the trailer, and counterclockwise to lower. The screw stroke is 10 inches.

What are the important safety instructions?

Always use on a flat, hard, level surface. Never stand under the load. Do not exceed capacity. Do not allow children to operate the jack. Wear protective equipment.

What to do if the jack is used in a marine environment?

Rinse the entire jack and bushings with fresh water after each use, then apply fresh lubricant to prevent corrosion.

What is the height adjustment range?

The adjustment range is 12.5 to 22.5 inches (approximately 31.8 to 57.2 cm). The minimum total product height is 25.2 inches.

2. Always wear eye protection when performing service or maintenance to the vehicle. Other safety equipment to consider would be hearing protection, gloves and possibly a full face shield, depending on the nature of the service.

3. Never allow anyone unfamiliar with this product to install, operate or service this product.

4. Never lift or level the trailer without a properly installed footpad.

5. Never crank the jack or couple the trailer without preventing the tr from rolling.

6. Never exert excessive side forces to the trailer jack.

7. Never allow anyone, including the operator, to put any body parts under the trailer jack or the supported load during jack operation.

8. Never exceed the load capacity!

9. Never use trailer jack to lift the trailer for service or tire change.

10. Never move the trailer before the trailer jack is fully retracted.

11. Keep children and bystanders away from the work area while operating the tool. Do not allow children to handle the jack.

12. Do not use the jack where there is a risk of causing a fire or explosion; e.g., in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. The jack can create sparks, which may ignite the flammable liquid gases, or dust.

13. For use on flat, level, hard surface capable of supporting load.

14. Do not use blocks for additional ground clearance.

15. When using the drop foot or drop leg, make certain the supplied fully inserted through both sides of the inner tube and the drop before using the jack.

16. If the trailer jack has a drop leg, never attempt to adjust the dr when there is any load on the jack.

Note:

1. The jack is designed for vertical movement of the trailer only.
2. Rapid and continuous lifting is not recommended to avoid gear heating and reduce service life.

ASSEMBLY

1. When mounting trailer jack, it is best to hook up to the tow vehi make sure the trailer is secure.
2. Mount jack based on drawing shown above.
3. Make sure bolts and nylock nut are securely tightened.
4. (Regularly check to make sure bolts and nylock nuts are securely tight.)
5. After the jack is mounted to trailer, attach the handle assembly to with bolt fastener provided.

OPERATION

1. To activate the swivel function on the jack, pull the pull pin and jack into desired position.
2. Only swivel jack when trailer is securely attached to a tow vehicle. Make sure pull pin is properly engaged after swiveling into desire position.

1. Turn handle clockwise to raise.
2. Turn handle counterclockwise to lower.

Note: Remember that the jack must not interfere with the vehicle or when turning or passing over speed bumps, boat ramps, etc.

MAINTENANCE

1. Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water along with light oil lubrication of pivot points will prolong peak performance and appearance
2. Periodically check whether the screws are loose.
3. Before each use, inspect jack tubes and replace if bent or damag
4. The following procedures should be performed at least annually. The internal gearing and bushings of the jack must be kept lubricated. Apply a small amount of automotive grease to the internal gearing by removing the jack cover. Rotate the jack handle to distribute the greater evenly. The axle bolt and nut assembly of the caster wheel must also lubricated with the light weight oil.

If this product is used in a marine environment, flush the jack assem and bushings with fresh water, and apply fresh lubricant.
