How to tell if the device is working normally?

Check that the power indicator is on and the status indicator flashes. Listen for a tick sound (pulse discharge). Bring an insulated wire from the red terminal to 0.25 cm from the black terminal: sparks confirm proper operation.

Why does the fence have little or no electric shock?

Possible causes: poor contact at terminals, wires touching weeds or the ground, insufficient grounding (rod too dry or less than 5 feet), or a short circuit between red and black wires. Check each point.

How to properly install the charger?

Mount the unit indoors or in a weatherproof enclosure. Connect the red terminal to the fence wire and the black terminal to a ground (rod buried more than 1.5 m). Use insulators to separate the wire from posts.

What is the maximum fence distance?

With the TT-P4 model, the range on a single line is 1 to 3 km depending on conditions (vegetation, humidity). Reduce distance if voltage drops.

Can a battery or solar panel be used?

Yes, the device accepts external power: 12V lead-acid battery or solar panel with controller. The supplied wall adapter can be replaced by these sources (not included).

What to do in case of a thunderstorm?

Never install the electric fence during a thunderstorm. Disconnect the device and stay away from the fence to avoid lightning risks.

How to perform grounding?

Drive a metal rod (at least 1.5 m) into moist soil. Connect it to the black terminal. If the soil is dry, add an extra ground wire along the fence. Proper grounding is essential for effective shock.

What if the power indicator remains on steadily?

A steady light indicates a malfunction of the device. Check connections, power supply, and wiring. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service – do not disassemble the device.

What are the electrical risks?

The output voltage reaches 12 kV (pulse). Never touch the fence or terminals during operation. Always disconnect before any handling. Failure to comply may cause serious or fatal injury.

How to maintain the electric fence?

Regularly cut weeds and branches touching the wires. Check for corrosion at connections. Test voltage with a fence tester. In winter or dry soil, moisten the ground rod.

Precautions for installation: The voltage generated by the product is pulse voltage.

1. This product has high voltage inside during operation. To avoid electric shock, please do not disassemble it without permission.
2. There is 5000V~10000V high voltage at the output front end of the product. Do not touch it when working. Please install the host after correctly installing the front fence rod, sub-alloy wire, and the correct circuit. Install the host with electricity.
3. Do not install electric fence during lightning.
4. Do not install the pulse host directly outdoors or in place.
5. In case of any abnormality of the product, the power shall be cut off first, and the professional installation maintenance personnel shall be notified in time. Do not disassemble or repair by yourself, or you will bear the consequences;
6. The user shall not open the host for maintenance, otherwise our company will not provide warranty;
7. Users of this product must have knowledge of electric safety and electric shock rescue;

EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION

(1) Installation of metal conductive cable

The wiring method of the front conductive cable needs to be reasonably installed according to the type, size, and conductive materials of the animals in captivity. The following are some typical wiring diagrams. Choose the same or similar wiring methods according to your needs.

(2) Equipment installation

1. Fix the pulse electric fence host indoors. If it is installed outdoors, it needs to be installed in a waterproof box.

1. There are one red terminal and one black terminal at the terminal of the pulse electric fence. The red terminal is the high-voltage pulse output terminal, and the black terminal is the grounding terminal.

1. Install insulators, springs, insulating handles, and other accessories on the front wooden pile.

Terminal rod insulator

It is mainly used to fix at the corner or the terminal wooden pile, fix and tighten the power-on rope, and ensure insulation with the wooden pile.

Self-tapping insulator

It is mainly installed on the upright pole with material such as wooden pile or plastic pile, which plays the role of supporting the conductive rope and providing insulation.

Spring door

It is composed of a two-way hook insulator, insulating handle, and door spring. After the fence door is determined, it is connected to the upright rods on both sides of the door. It can be removed at any time to facilitate the access of people or animals and ensure the integrity of the perimeter when the door is closed.

1. There are one red terminal and one black terminal at the terminal of the pulse electric fence. The red terminal is the high-voltage pulse output terminal, and the black terminal is the grounding terminal. The grounding terminal can also be connected to a wire on the fence that is connected to the grounding pile (this wiring mode can make animals feel stronger blows when they encounter the red pulse output wire and the black grounding wire at the same time. Note: the black grounding wire must not have any contact with the red pulse output wire on the fence).

1. The pulse electric fence is powered by a power adapter, lead-acid battery, or solar energy (one out of three).

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

1. The installed metal conductor must be insulated from the support. Whether it is a wooden pile or a metal support pole, a special insulator must be installed.
2. If the wire connected to the output end is connected to other metal that is connected to the ground in a rainy and humid environment, the output voltage of the equipment will be pulled down, reducing the impact on animals.
3. It must be effectively grounded. If there is no rain for a long time in the northern region, the land is very dry, or in a desert area, the strike

voltage will be reduced, and a slightly humid environment should be selected as far as possible.

1. This product is only used for breeding and special places. Do not use it as pulse high-voltage equipment.
2. Weeds and branches around the metal conductive cables, such as entangled wires, need to be cleaned in time, otherwise the voltage will be reduced and the equipment will lose its function. Especially when it rains, the conductor will be fully grounded and the voltage will drop to a low level.
3. The transition wire from the impulse output terminal and the ground terminal of the electric fence to the front metal conductor and the graphite cannot use a multi-core power line for transition. Two independent power lines must be used and the spacing between the two lines shall be more than 16 feet.
4. In case of the following conditions during installation, it is recommended that the host of the electric fence should lead out a metal wire on while grounding the black grounding terminal (as shown in the above wire installation legend): the environment ground is dry, large animals kept in captivity, and long-distance places (more than 0.6 mile).

FAQ

Q: How to judge whether the test equipment is working normally?

A: 1. If the screen lights up, the power indicator light stays on, and the running light is flashing, it is considered normal; if the running light is constantly on, it indicates a device malfunction. 2. After the host is turned on normally, listen for a pulse voltage output sound from the host (when the host is working normally, it will emit a ticking discharge sound; if there is no such sound, it indicates equipment failure). Connect one end of an insulated wire to the

red output terminal and the other end close to the black ground terminal (within 0.1 inch), and check for any electrical sparks. If there is a crackling sound or spark, it indicates that the equipment is working properly. If there is no electric spark, it indicates that the equipment is faulty.

Q: What is the reason for the electric fence having little or no electric shock (animals do not respond when touched)?

A: 1. First check whether the device is running normally (refer to Question 1). 2. Check if the connection between the red output port on the host and the black ground port is loose. 3. Check whether the line connected to the red output port on the fence is in contact with weeds, trees, metal objects, or the ground (if so, please adjust the line on the fence in time). 4. Check whether the wire connected to the red output port on the fence is in contact with the wire on the black ground terminal (the wire on the output terminal must not be in contact with the wire on the black ground terminal). 5. Check whether the grounding place of the host is dry or the grounding pile is not deep enough (try to avoid too dry an environment for grounding, and the grounding pile needs to be buried in the ground more than [the specified depth]). When the electric fence installation environment is dry and the grounding is poor, you can refer to the installation instructions in the manual to lay the ground wire to the fence.
