FUNCTIONANDPURPOSE

Thisdrop-inisintendedanddesignedtoholdcontainersoffoodat
properservingtemperatures.Hotfoodstationsarenotintendedor
designedtocookrawfoodortoreheatpreparedfood.Foodmustbe
preparedandplacedinfofoodstationsatproperservingtemperatures.
Thesequipmentisnotintendedforhousehold,industrialorlaboratory
use.

A THUMBSCREW.Securesthedrop-intothemountingsurface.
B TEMPERATURECONTROL. Used to setor adjust the temperature of the well. The larger the number the higher the temperature, the smaller the number the lower the temperature. The "0" position is off.
C POWERINDICATORLIGHT.Illuminateswhenthewellisinthe heatingmode.

1. Plugelectricalpowercordintoaoutletthatmatchsterated voltageonthenameplate.
   2.Turnthe temperaturecontroltothemaximumheatsetting.Coverthe well(s).Preheatfor30minutes.
2. Place containers of hot food, above 140^(60^) , intopreheated equipment.
   4.Reduceheatsettingtoalevelthatwillmaintainasafeholding temperatureandmaintainfoodquality.

NOTICE: Monitor food temperature closely for foodsafety. The United States Public Health Service recommends that food be held at a minimum of 140^(60^) to help prevent bacteria growth.

1. Usegloves, mittsorpotholderstoprotechandswhenremoving hotfoodcontainers.

CLEANING

CAUTION

BurnHazard Hotsurfacedandfoodcanburnskin.Allowthehotsurfacedto coolbeforehandling.

Tomaintaintheappearanceandincreaseservice life, clean your equipment daily.

NOTICE: Donotusecausticcleaningchemicals, steelwoolor commerciallimeremovalproductstocleantheequipment. Thoroughlyrinseequipmentwithwateraftercleaning.

1. Remove hot food containers. Use gloves, mitts or holderstopechards
   2.Turnthetemperaturecontroltothe"0"setting.
   3.Unplugthedrop-in.
2. Allowthedrop-intocoolcompletely.
3. Removetheshieldfromthebottomofthewell.
   6.Handwashtheshieldinsoapywater.
   7.Drytheshield.
   8.Useadampclothspongedippedinsoapywatertocleanthe insideofthewellandtheoutsideofthecquipment.
4. Useadampclothspongeto thoroughlywipeoffthesoapywater.

TROUBLESHOOTING

ProblemMightbeCausedByCourseofAction
Drop-indoesnotheattothe correcttemperature.	Loworincorrectvoltagetounit.	Verifythatvoltageratingonthedrop-inmatchesthesourcevoltage.If not,havealicensed发电lectricianinstallpropersourcevoltage.
