This operating manual should help you to familiarise yourself with your product and to use it for its intended purpose.

The operating manual includes important instructions for the safe, proper and economic operation of the product, for avoiding danger, for minimising repair costs and downtimes and for increasing the reliability and extending the service life of the product.

In addition to the safety instructions in this operating manual, you must also observe the regulations applicable to the operation of the product in your country.

Keep the operating manual package with the power tool at all times and store it in a plastic cover to protect it from dirt and moisture. They must be read and carefully observed by all operating personnel before starting the work.

The product may only be used by personnel who have been trained to use it and who have been instructed with respect to the associated hazards.

The required minimum age must be observed.

In addition to the safety instructions in this operating manual and the separate regulations of your country, the generally recognised technical rules relating to the operation of such products must also be observed.

We accept no liability for accidents or damage that occur due to a failure to observe this manual and the safety instructions.

4. Proper use

This device is suitable for inflating car, motorcycle and bicycle tyres, sports balls, beach balls, air mattresses and similar objects.

This device is not suitable for tyres with a very large volume, such as lorry and tractor tyres.

The compressor may only be operated in a dry and well ventilated indoor space.

The product may only be used in the intended manner. Any use beyond this is improper. The user/operator, not the manufacturer, is responsible for damages or injuries of any type resulting from this.

An element of the intended use is also the observance of the safety instructions, as well as the assembly instructions and operating information in the operating manual.

Persons who operate and maintain the product must be familiar with the manual and must be informed about potential dangers.

The liability of the manufacturer and resulting damages are excluded in the event of modifications of the product.

The product may only be operated with original parts and original accessories from the manufacturer.

The safety, operating and maintenance specifications of the manufacturer, as well as the dimensions specified in the technical data, must be observed.

Please note that our products were not designed with the intention of use for commercial or industrial purposes. We assume no guarantee if the product is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent work.

The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or incorrect operation.

5. Safety instructions

General power tool safety warnings

⚠ WARNING! Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specifications provided with this power tool.

Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

1. Work area safety

a. Keep your work area clean and well-lit.

Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

b. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.

Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

c. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.

Distractions can cause you to lose control.

2. Electrical safety

a. Power tool plugs must match the outlet.

Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.

b. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

c. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions.

Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.

d. Do not use the cable for another purpose, for example, carrying or hanging the power tool or pulling the plug out of the socket.

Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving device parts. Damaged or coiled cables increase the risk of an electric shock.

e. If you work with an electric tool outdoors, only use extension cables that are also suitable for outdoor use.

Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

f. If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply.

Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

1. Personal safety

a. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.

Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.

A moment of carelessness when using power tools can result in serious injuries.

b. Wear personal protective equipment and always safety goggles.

Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, safety helmet or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

c. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or rechargeable battery, picking up or carrying the tool.

Carrying electric tools with your finger on the switch or connecting power tools to the power supply when they are already switched on invites accidents.

d. Remove any adjusting tools or spanners/keys before turning the power tool on.

A tool or spanner that is located in a rotating device part may result in injuries.

e. Avoid abnormal postures.

Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

f. Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.

Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

g. If dust extraction and collection devices can be mounted, make sure that they are connected and used properly.

Use of dust extraction can reduce dust-related hazards.

h. Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles.

A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.

1. Power tool use and care

a. Do not overload the device.

Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

b. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

c. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing tool

attachments, or storing power tools.

Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.

d. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and

do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

e. Maintain power tools and tool attachments.

Check whether moving parts function properly and do not get stuck and whether parts are broken or are damaged and thus adversely affect the electric tool function. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

g. Use the power tool, tool attachments and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions.

Take into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

h. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease.

Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.

1. Service

a. Only have your power tool repaired by qualified specialists and only with original spare parts.

This ensures that safety of the elec- tric tool is maintained.

Safety instructions for compressors

⚠ Attention! The following basic safety measures must be observed when using this compressor for protection against electric shock, and the risk of injury and fire.

Read and observe these instructions before using the device.

Safe work

1. Keep the work area orderly

- Disorder in the work area can lead to accidents.

1. Take environmental influences into account

- Do not expose power tools to rain.

- Do not use electric tools in a damp or wet environment. There is a risk of electric shock!

- Make sure that the work area is well-illuminated. - Do not use power tools where there is a risk of fire or explosion.

1. Protect yourself from electric shock - Avoid physical contact with earthed parts (e.g. pipes, radiators, electric ranges, cooling units).

2. Keep away from children!

3. Do not allow other persons to touch the tool and cable, keep them away from your work area.

4. Securely store unused power tools - Unused power tools should be stored in a dry, elevated or closed location out of the reach of children.

5. Do not overload your power tool

6. They work better and more safely in the specified output range.

7. Wear suitable clothing

8. Do not wear wide clothing or jewellery, which can become entangled in moving parts.
9. Rubber gloves and anti-slip footwear are recommended when working outdoors.

10. Tie long hair back in a hair net.

11. Do not use the cable for purposes for which it is not intended

12. Do not use the cable to pull the plug out of the outlet. Protect the cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.

13. Take care of your tools

- Keep your compressor clean in order to work well and safely.

- Follow the maintenance instructions.

- Check the connection cable of the electric tool regularly and have it replaced by a recognised specialist when damaged.

- Check extension cables regularly and replace them when damaged.

1. Pull the connector out of the socket

- When the power tool is not in use or prior to maintenance and when replacing tools such as saw blades, drill bits, cutters.

1. Avoid inadvertent starting

- Make sure that the switch is switched off when plugging the plug into an outlet.

1. Use extension cables for outdoors

- Only use approved and appropriately identified extension cables for use outdoors.

- Only use cable reels in the unrolled state.

1. Always remain attentive

- Pay attention to what you are doing. Remain sensible when working. Do not use the power tool when you are distracted.

1. Check the power tool for potential damage

- Protective devices or other parts with minor damage must be care-

fully inspected to ensure that they function correctly and as intended prior to continued use of the power tool.

- Check whether the moving parts function faultlessly and do not jam or whether parts are damaged. All parts must be correctly mounted and all conditions must be fulfilled to ensure fault-free operation of the power tool.

- Damaged protective devices and parts must be properly repaired or replaced by a recognised specialist workshop, insofar as nothing different is specified in the operating manual.

- Damaged switches must be replaced at a customer service workshop.

- Do not use any faulty or damaged connection cables.

- Do not use any power tool on which the switch cannot be switched on and off.

1. Have your power tool repaired by a qualified electrician

- This power tool conforms to the applicable safety regulations. Repairs may only be performed by an electrician using original spare parts. Otherwise accidents can occur.

1. Attention!

- For your own safety, only use accessories and additional equipment that

are indicated in the operating manual or have been recommended or indicated by the manufacturer. Use of other tools or tool attachments that those recommended in the operating manual or in the catalogue could represent a personal danger to you.

1. Noise

- Wear hearing protection when using the compressor.

1. Replacing the connection line

- If the connection line is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an electrician to avoid danger. There is a risk of electric shock.

1. Inflating tyres

- Check the tyre pressure immediately after filling using a suitable pressure gauge, e.g. at a petrol station.

1. Street-legal compressors in construction site operation

- Ensure that all hoses and fixtures are suitable for the maximum permissible working pressure of the compressor.

1. Set-up location

- Only set up the compressor on a flat surface.

1. In case of pressures above 7 bar, it is recommended to equip supply hoses with a safety cable (e.g. a wire rope).

2. Avoid over-stressing the piping system by using flexible hose connections to prevent kinking.

3. Use a residual current circuit breaker with a trigger current of 30 mA or less. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

⚠ WARNING! This power tool generates an electromagnetic field during operation. This field can impair active or passive medical implants under certain circumstances. In order to prevent the risk of serious or deadly injuries, we recommend that persons with medical implants consult with their physician and the manufacturer of the medical implant prior to operating the power tool.

Using and handling the cordless tool

a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A battery charger that is suitable for a particular type of battery poses a fire hazard when used with other batteries.

b) Use power tools only with specifically designated BATTERY packs. Use of any other BATTERY packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

c) Keep the unused battery away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that could cause a short-circuit between the contacts. Shorting the BATTERY terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the BATTERY; avoid contact.
Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If the liquid gets into your eyes, seek additional medical attention. Liquid ejected from the BATTERY may cause irritation or burns.
e) Do not use a damaged or modified battery. Damaged or modified batteries can behave unpredictably and cause fire, explosion or injury.
f) Do not expose a battery to fire or excessive temperatures. Fire or temperatures above 130^ C may cause an explosion.
g) Follow all charging instructions and never charge the battery or rechargeable tool outside the temperature range specified in the operating manual. Incorrect charging or charging outside the approved temperature range can destroy the battery and increase the risk of fire.

6. Residual risks

The product has been built according to state-of-the-art and the recognised technical safety rules. However, individual residual risks can arise during operation.

- Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use of improper electrical connection cables.

• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been met, some non-obvious residual risks may still remain.
- Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety Instructions" and the "Intended Use" together with the operating manual as a whole are observed.
- Avoid accidental starting of the product: the operating button may not be pressed when inserting the plug in a socket.
Use the tool attachment that is recommended in this operating manual. This is how to ensure that your product provides optimum performance.
- Keep your hands away from the working area when the product is in operation.

8. Unpacking

• Open the packaging and carefully remove the product.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the packaging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for transport damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must be informed immediately. Later claims will not be recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the warranty period.

• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the operating manual before using for the first time.

• With accessories as well as wearing parts and replacement parts use only original parts. Spare parts can be obtained from your specialist dealer.

• When ordering please provide our article number as well as type and year of manufacture for the product.

⚠ WARNING!

The product and the packaging material are not children's toys! Do not let children play with plastic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of choking or suffocating!

9. Before commissioning

Warning!

Do not use your product until it is completely assembled and installed according to the instructions.

9.1 Charging the battery (Fig. 3)

• When the battery is almost empty, the battery charge status indicator (7) shows one bar (of three). If the pump is running and stops with a dark display, please charge the battery. Do not attempt to switch the pump on, as this may damage the battery.
• Switch the pump off at the On/Off switch (11).

• Insert the USB-C plug (17) into the USB-C port (4) on the device.

• Connect the USB cable to the mains.

• The voltage indicator (3) illuminates red during the charging process. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the voltage indicator (3) illuminates green.
• Unplug the USB cable again.

9.2 Fitting the compressed air hose and the adapter set (Fig. 1)

• Screw the compressed air hose connector (16) into the mount (1).
• Screw the required adapter (19, 20, 21) into the mount on the compressed air hose (16).

9.3 Using the adapter set (Fig. 4-7)

The adapter set enables the following additional capabilities:

• Using the ball needle to inflate balls (20).
- The Dunlop valve (21) enables bicycle tyres and car tyres to be inflated.
- Pools, air mattresses, boats or similar swimming accessories can also be filled using the additional conical adapter (19).

ATTENTION! When inflating objects with an air pressure of 10 Psi or less, always inflate in short bursts. After each burst, squeeze the object or use a calibrating measurement device to check whether the required air pressure has been reached.

ATTENTION! The air pressure required to inflate most sports balls is too low to be read out accurately on the device's measurement indicator.

10. Operation

⚠ Attention!

Always make sure the product is fully assembled before commissioning!

10.1 Switching on/off (fig. 1)

• Press and hold the On/Off switch (11) to switch on.
• Press the operating mode button (10) for a short time to switch to the required inflation mode.
• Press and hold the operating mode button (10) for 3 seconds until the required measurement unit (bar, kPa, PSI, kg/cm²) is shown on the display.
• Press and hold the On/Off switch (11) to switch the device off.

10.2 Selecting inflate mode (Fig. 2)

You can choose from four pre-set pressure values: Car, motorcycle, bicycle and ball. You can also select manual mode and define the pressure yourself.

Press the operating mode button (10) until the required symbol is shown on the display.

10.3 Adjusting the pressure (Fig. 1)

ATTENTION! If the measured pressure is higher than the maximum value that is pre-set in the selected more, the light illuminates red.

The pressure can also be regulated using the “+” (14) and “-” (13) buttons.

The “+” button can be used to increase the pressure.

The “-” button can be used to decrease the pressure.

10.4 Inflate (Fig. 1)

- Press the On/Off switch on the pump (9) to start the inflation process.

• The pump stops automatically as soon as the pre-set pressure is reached.
• It can also be stopped by pressing the On/Off button on the pump (9) again.
  • After inflating, first remove the adapter (19, 20, 21) from the compressed air hose and then pull the compressed air hose (16) off the device.

10.5 LED work lamp (Fig. 1)

This product is equipped with an LED work lamp (2) to illuminate the immediate work area and improve visibility in poorly lit environments.

CAUTION! Do not look directly into the LED work lamp or the light source.

1 Press the LED button (12) again for a short time to switch the LED work light (2) on.
2 Pressing again causes the light to flash in SOS mode.
3 Pressing a third time switches the light off again (the LED work light can also be used when the device is switched off).

11. Cleaning and maintenance

- Keep protective devices, air vents and the engine housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the product clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with compressed air at low pressure.

• We recommend that you clean the product directly after every use.
- Clean the product at regular intervals using a damp cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they could attack the plastic parts of the product. Make sure that no water can penetrate the interior of the product. Water penetration increases the risk of an electric shock.
- The interior of the product has no further internal parts that require maintenance.

12. Repair & ordering spare parts

After repairs or maintenance, make sure that all safety-related parts are installed and are in perfect condition. All parts which may cause injury must be kept where they are inaccessible to children or others.

Attention: According to the German Product Liability Act, no liability is accepted for damage caused by improper repairs or by not using original spare parts.

Such work should be performed by a customer service centre or an authorised specialist. The same applies to accessory parts.

Connections and repairs

Connections and repair work on the electrical equipment may only be carried out by electricians.

Please provide the following information in the event of any queries:

12.1 Ordering spare parts

12.2 Service information

With this product, it is necessary to note that the following parts are subject to natural or usage-related wear, or that the following parts are required as consumables.

Wearing parts*: Compressed air hose, adapter

* may not be included in the scope of delivery!

13. Storage

Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry and frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.

The optimum storage temperature lies between 5 and 30 °C.

Store the product in its original packaging. Cover the product to protect it from dust or moisture. Store the operating manual with the product.

14. Disposal and recycling

Notes for packaging

The packaging materials are recyclable. Please dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

Notes on the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG)

Waste electrical and electronic equipment does not belong in household waste, but must be collected and disposed of separately!

- Used batteries or rechargeable batteries that are not installed permanently in the old device must be removed non-destructively before disposal!

Their disposal is regulated by the battery act.

- Owners or users of electrical and electronic devices are legally obliged to return them after use.

- The end user is responsible for deleting their personal data from the old device being disposed of!

- The symbol of the crossed-out dust-bin means that waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste.

- Waste electrical and electronic equipment can be handed in free of charge at the following places:

- Public disposal or collection points (e.g. municipal works yards). - Points of sale of electrical appliances (stationary and online), provided that dealers are obliged to take them back or offer to do so voluntarily.

- Up to three waste electrical devices per type of device, with an edge length of no more than 25 centimetres, can be returned free of charge to the manufacturer without prior purchase of a new device from the manufacturer or taken to another authorised collection point in your vicinity.

- Further supplementary take-back conditions of the manufacturers and distributors can be obtained from the respective customer service.

- If the manufacturer delivers a new electrical device to a private household, the manufacturer can arrange for the free collection of the old electrical device upon request from the end user. Please contact the manufacturer's customer service for this.

• These statements only apply to devices installed and sold in the countries of the European Union and which are subject to the European Directive 2012/19/EU.

In countries outside the European Union, different regulations may apply to the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Notes on lithium-ion batteries

Remove the battery before dis- posing of the device!

- Do not dispose of the battery in household waste, in a fire (risk of explosion) or in water. Damaged batteries can harm the environment and your health if toxic vapours or liquids escape.

- Defective or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC.

- Hand in the device and the battery charger at a recycling centre. The plastic and metal parts used can be separated by type and thus recycled.

- Dispose of batteries when discharged. We recommend covering the poles with an adhesive strip to protect against a short circuit. Do not open the battery.

- Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Return batteries to a used battery collection point where they can be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Ask your local waste disposal company about this.

Apparent defects must be notified within 8 days from the receipt of the goods. Otherwise, the buyer loses its rights of claim due to such defects are invalidated. We guarantee for our machines in case of proper treatment for the time of the statutory warranty period from delivery in such a way that we replace any machine part free of charge which provably becomes unusable due to faulty material or defects of fabrication within such period of time. With respect to parts not manufactured by us we only warrant insofar as we are entitled to warranty claims against the upstream suppliers. The costs for the installation of the new parts shall be borne by the buyer. The cancellation of sale or the reduction of purchase price as well as any other claims for damages shall be excluded.
