Introduction

We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

This product is intended for normal use. This product is only suitable for private use in dry indoor locations or outdoor areas without electrical connection (e.g. storerooms or camping sites).

ATTENTION: The product can be used as a charger for small electronic devices with USB charging.

The product is not intended for commercial use or for use in other applications.

This product is not suitable for household room illumination.

- Scope of delivery

After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packaging materials before use.

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN!

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. Always keep children away from the packaging material.

This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking experience and/or knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products.
- Do not use the product if you detect any type of damage.
■ Never immerse the product in water or other liquids!
Only connect the product to a properly installed USB socket. The voltage must comply with information given in the section "Technical data".

Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the product yourself. The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
■ The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product must be replaced.

CAUTION! DANGER OF BURN

INJURIES! To prevent burns, verify the product is switched off and has cooled down for at least 15 minutes before touching it. The product can become very hot.

The accessible surface, especially heat shrink, is very hot when the lamp is operating.

FIRE HAZARD! Fit the product so that it is at least 0.1 metre away from the material to be illuminated. Excessive heat can result in a fire.

WARNING! Do not turn on the light when the product is facing down to a combustible surface. The exposed surface may be overheated or ignited.

  • Do not place burning candles or open fire on or near the product.
  • Do not use the product near heat sources such as radiators or devices emitting heat.
    ■ Dispose of the product if product or USB cable are damaged.
    ■ Ensure the USB cable 10 cannot become damaged by sharp edges or hot objects. Unwind the USB cable completely before use.
    Immediately switch the product off and remove the charging cable from the product if you smell burning or see smoke. Have the product examined by a qualified technician before using it again.
    If you use a USB power supply, the socket used must always be easily accessible so that the USB power supply can be quickly removed from the socket in the case of emergency. Please also refer to the manufacturer's instruction manual.
  • Observe the usage restrictions and prohibitions of use for battery-operated products in situations which may be hazardous such as at petrol stations, airports, hospitals, etc.

WARNING! Do not cover the product while charging. There is a risk of warming and overheating.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION!

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.

  • Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
  • Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries

  • Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.
    If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!

Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. The removal or replacement of the rechargeable battery may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery.

Before use

● Charging the product

NOTES:

☐ Remove all packaging materials from the product.
☐ In order to use the product without a USB cable 10, you need to recharge the rechargeable battery before use. The charging process takes about 7 hours. The rechargeable battery is firmly integrated into the base of the product.
□ Fully charge the rechargeable battery prior to first use.
☐ Charge the battery if it becomes empty (only 1 LED of the charging indicator 6 is flashing).

  1. Open the protective cap 7.
  2. Connect the USB plug of the USB cable to the USB input socket 8 on the product.

NOTES:

The battery charging status is shown by the charging indicator 6:

☐ The charging time is approximately 7 hours when the battery was drained.

☐ The product has an overcharging protection system. Nevertheless, you should disconnect the product from the mains once the charging process is complete.
☐ The product is not working at temperatures below +5 °C and above +45 °C due to its battery protection.

  1. Disconnect the USB cable 10 from the product to prevent the batteries discharging themselves.
  2. Close the protective cap 7 before you start to use the product again. Otherwise water could enter to the product when it is used outdoors.

- Checking the battery capacity

☐ When product is not charged: Press the ON/OFF switch 2 to check the battery capacity. The red charging indicator 6 shows the capacity* of the battery inside the product.

* This is the approximate percentage of battery capacity but not actual measurement.

● Mounting the product

CAUTION! A single adjustable foot/hand grip 4 is not sufficient for attaching the product to magnetisable surfaces (Fig. E).

☐ Each of the adjustable 2 foot/hand grips 4 is equipped with 4 magnets 5. With these magnets, the product can be attached to magnetisable surfaces.

Operation

⚠️ RISK OF ACCIDENTS! Preferably do not use the product whilst driving a vehicle. When using the product in a vehicle, be sure this does not endanger the driver or the passengers. Always store and secure the product so that even full braking does not pose a risk of injury from the product or product damage.

☐ Turn the adjustable foot/hand grip 4 and fix the product at desired position. The adjustable foot/hand grip can also be turned up and used as a hand grip (Fig. C).
☐ The product can be fixed by attaching it to a flat ferromagnetic surface with the magnet 5 of the adjustable foot/hand grip.
☐ The product can be hung up. Press the grip lock 11 to release the adjustable foot/hand grip (Fig. D). Push the adjustable foot/hand grip back in after hanging the product at a desired position.

CAUTION! Please note the position of your hands whilst turning the adjustable foot/hand grip to prevent pinching your fingers.

NOTES:

☐ The product may be used as a light or as a charger.
☐ The energy stored in the rechargeable batteries power both the LED light and the charging station. Using the product as a charger therefore reduces the operating time and brightness in lighting mode.

Using as a LED light

□ Fully charge the product as described in the section "Charging the product".
☐ The product can be operated in 3 different modes. Select these by repeatedly pressing the ON/OFF switch 2.

ON/OFF switch Mode
Press 1×: 2 white lights light up.
Press 2×: 1 white light lights up.
Press 3×: 1 white light lights up.
Press 4×: Switch off the light.

- Using as a power bank

ATTENTION! Charging a device which requires a higher charging current may cause a defect in both devices.

The charging current the device requires may not exceed 2 A. Carefully read the instructions for use of the device you wish to charge.
The battery of the device you wish to charge must have a significantly smaller capacity than the total capacities of the rechargeable batteries inside the product (5000 mAh). Otherwise charging may not complete.

☐ When used with the USB cable [10] , the product may be used to charge small electronics devices with USB socket (Type C) for charging (e.g. mobile phones or digital cameras).

  1. Open the protective cap 7.
  2. Insert the USB plug of the USB cable 10 into the USB output socket 9.
  3. Insert the USB plug of the USB cable into the small electronic devices you wish to charge. The red charging indicator 6 lights up, indicating the battery capacity.
  4. Remove the USB cable as soon as charging is complete.
  5. Close the protective cap.

● Maintenance and cleaning

■ Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
■ Never use caustic cleaners.
The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Before cleaning:
- Switch off the product.
- Disconnect the USB cable 10 from the USB socket.
- Close the protective cap 7 on the USB input socket 8 and USB output socket 9.
☐ Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stubborn dirt.

● Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!

Batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.

Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

For this product, rechargeable battery is also covered by its warranty period.
