WARNING:

The pumping device, charging cable and charging adapter must not be washed or disinfected in water.

NOTE:

- Separate and wash all components of the device that come into contact with milk immediately after using the device. This will remove the milk residue and prevent the growth of bacteria.

- For washing, use only drinking quality tap water. Use bottled water if the water in your tap does not meet this requirement.

- Do not use brushes when cleaning valves. Be careful not to punctuate the valve.

- Disassemble, wash and rinse all breast pump components that come into contact with milk, except for the pumping device.

- Use a mild dish soap when washing the breast pump components.

SEE FIG. 4

A. Washing (before and after first use – in the sink):

a. Rinse all elements of the breast pump that have come into contact with breast or milk in cold water to remove the milk residue.
b. Soak the elements in warm, soapy water for 5 minutes. Then rinse and wash.
c. Let the elements dry naturally. Store the dry parts of the set in a cool, dry place when you're not using them.

B. Disinfection (before first use and once a day – on the stove):

a. Fill the pot with water so that all the elements placed in it are covered when placed in water. Bring it to boil.
b. Place the breast pump elements in boiling water for 10 minutes.
c. Let the elements dry naturally. Store the dry parts of the kit in a cool, dry place when you're not using them.

C. Cleaning the pumping unit:

a. Wipe the pumping unit with a soft, damp cloth and a mild dish soap. Other cleaning products or abrasives may damage the device and its display.
b. Do not submerge the pumping unit under water or wash it with running water.
c. When you are not using the pumping unit, store it in a cool, dry place.

06. ASSEMBLING THE BREAST PUMP

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before touching your breast and the breast pump.
  2. Connect the breast shield, suction cap and suction bowl to be connector.

  3. Place the valve in the connector and screw the milk bottle onto the connector, turning it clockwise until it stops.

  4. Connect the tube to the suction cap (1). If you want to express milk from both breasts simultaneously, connect the tubing to both suction caps (2) SEE FIG. 5.

Tips:

a. Check the breast pump components for damage before each use. Replace damaged items with new ones as needed.
b. Always check the cleanliness of the elements before using the machine
c. To avoid damage to the breast pump, make sure that all its parts are dry before using it.

07. CHARGING THE BREAST PUMP

Before the first use, charge the breast pump for 2 hours by connecting it to the power supply using the USB cable. The battery icon on the display will be full when charging is complete.

SEE FIG. 7

Full blinking battery – low battery, connect device to power.

SEE FIG. 8

Blinking battery, not full – battery being charged, current battery charging status.

SEE FIG. 9

Full battery – battery fully charged.

The breast pump can be used when the device is connected for charging.

Your device's battery will charge when you plug it into power. The battery of the device will not be charged when the pumping device is switched on.

Fully charge the battery before putting it into storage if you intend to not use the breast pump for a long period of time.

Charge the device's battery before it is completely depleted. This extends battery life.

If the breast pump has been stored in a hot place, the battery of the device may not work at first. Allow the breast pump to cool down for an hour before using it.

08. USING THE BREAST PUMP

If expressing milk from one breast - insert the unused end of the tubing into the tubing holder.

SEE FIG. 6

  1. Place the breast shield on the breast so that the nipple is inside the funnel.

  2. Press the breast shields and connectors to your breasts using your thumbs and index fingers. Support your breasts with your hands.

  3. Turn on the breast pump by pressing the power button and select the mode of operation that suits you.

  4. Press the power button to turn off the breast pump after use and place the lid on the breast shield to protect the device from dust.

The breast pump remembers the last used suction level settings in all modes.

a. The breast pump starts work in stimulation mode. Set a convenient suction level for you using the +/- buttons. Stimulation mode – fast pumping that mimics the natural sucking of breast milk by the baby, stimulating the flow of milk.

b. After 2 minutes, the breast pump will automatically turn on the expression mode. Adjust the suction level using the +/- buttons to find the highest level of suction that is comfortable for you. If food starts to flow out of your breasts before two minutes pass, press the mode change button to manually enter expression mode.

c. Expression mode – slower pumping, which gently and efficiently sucks milk from the breast.

d. In expression mode, increase the suction force until you feel slight discomfort (not pain) and reduce the suction by one level.

e. Milk let-down mode – gentle pumping mode. Turn it on when the milk flows from the breast by itself.

09. REPLACEMENT OF CONSUMABLE PARTS

Consumable parts are subject to natural wear and tear during use of the breastpump and are therefore not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Worn parts of the breastpump that come into contact with milk should be replaced. A worn part has a crack, is deformed, or you notice discolouration or a marked change in colour.

  • Replace the membrane every 8 weeks (if you use the breastpump 1-3 times a day) or every 3-4 weeks (if you use the breastpump more than 3 times a day).
  • Replace the valve every 2-3 months (if you use the breastpump 1-3 times a day) or every 4 weeks (if you use it more than 3 times a day).
  • The breastshield should be replaced every 6 months if you use the breastpump more than 3 times a day.
  • Replace the tube only if moisture gets into the tube or if it is damaged.

10. MILK PREPARATION

  1. Do not thaw frozen milk in the microwave or in boiling water. This can burn the baby's mouth.

  2. Thaw the milk in the fridge overnight. Do not freeze thawed milk again.

  3. You can quickly thaw the milk, keeping it under running water at a temperature of max. 37 °C. Place the closed bottle/bag in a bowl of warm water for 20 minutes to bring the milk to body temperature.

  4. Do not add freshly expressed milk to previously frozen milk if the amount of fresh milk exceeds the amount of milk previously frozen. Feeding:

a. It is recommended to breastfeed before you start feeding your baby with a bottle.

b. Always check the bottle, teat and other components before and after each feeding. If the teat is damaged, stop using it immediately.

c. To avoid a choking hazard, test the strength of the teat by gently pulling the protruding part of it.

d. Do not attempt to enlarge the hole in the teat.

e. Infants should not be bottle fed without adult supervision.

f. The bottle teat should not be used as a pacifier.
