USER MANUAL Air Active 6.000 Fiap
With the purchase of the product AIR ACTIVE 6.000 and 10.000 you have made a very good choice. Before using the device for the first time, read the operating instructions carefully and familiarize yourself with the product. All work on and with this device may only be carried out in accordance with these operating instructions. It is essential to observe the safety instructions for correct and safe use. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. If you change hands, please pass on the operating instructions.
INTENDED USE
AIR ACTIVE 6.000 and 10.000, hereinafter referred to as the device, may only be used to enrich pond water with air. All other parts from the scope of delivery may only be used in this context. The device must be operated at the permissible outside temperature between -5 °C and +45 °C. The area of application is for ponds and water basins with and without fish stock.
The device must not be operated:
In swimming ponds, without water flow, when frost is expected, not in contact with chemicals, food, highly flammable or explosive substances.
IMPROPER USE
In the event of improper use and improper handling, this device can pose a risk to people. In the event of improper use, our liability and the general operating permit expire.

Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision. It is essential to observe the safety instructions for correct and safe use. Please keep these instructions in a safe place. If the owner changes, please pass on the instructions.
All work with this device may only be carried out in accordance with these instructions. The combination of water and electricity can lead to serious danger to life and limb if it is not connected properly or handled improperly.
Only operate the device when there are no people in the water!
Before reaching into the water, always unplug all devices in the water. Compare the electrical data of the power supply with the type plate on the packaging or on the device. Make sure that the device is protected by a residual current device with a rated residual current of maximum 30mA . Only operate the device from a properly installed socket. Keep the power plug and all connection points dry! Lay the connection cable so that it is protected to prevent damage. Only use cables, installations, adapters, extension or connection cables with protective contact that are approved for outdoor use. Do not carry or pull the device by the connecting cable! The device must not be operated if the cable or housing is defective! If the power cord of the device is damaged, the device must be disposed of; it is no longer possible to replace the power cord. If the cable is damaged, the device must be disposed of. Electrical installations on garden ponds must comply with international and national installation regulations. Never open the housing of the device or its associated parts unless this is expressly stated in the instructions for use.
Never make technical changes to the device, this leads to the immediate expiry of all warranty and guarantee claims. Use only original spare parts and accessories. Have repairs carried out only by authorized customer service centers.

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
Before doing this, follow the steps below: Connect the air hose to the device before switching it on. The air stones should be immersed about 30 cm below the surface of the water. Keep the length of the air hoses as short as possible. Lay the connection cable in a protected manner and connect the device to a socket. After a short start-up time, air emerges from the air stones.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
First switch off the power supply and secure the device against being switched on again. If the performance decreases, clean the air inlet opening on the housing cover.
The membranes need to be replaced occasionally. Always change them in pairs on the left and right.

CHANGING THE DIAPHRAGM ON THE AIR ACTIVE 6.000:
First pull out the mains plug and secure the device against being switched on again. You can remove the cover by opening the screws on the underside of the device.
Pull the connecting hose off the pump heads on the left and right. Remove the diaphragm chamber secured with four screws. Carefully lift the cover of the membrane chamber off the membrane. Loosen the screw and remove the support washer from the membrane. The membrane can then be replaced. Pay attention to correct installation (note shape). Reassemble the device in reverse order and put it back into operation.

WEAR PARTS

The membranes, air hoses, valve unit and air filter are wearing parts and are not subject to warranty.

REPAIR
If the cables or the housing are damaged, the motor cannot be repaired and must therefore be replaced.

STORAGE
The device must be taken out of operation and dismantled if frost is expected. When uninstalling, take the air hoses out of the water and clean them. First clean the device as described under Cleaning and Maintenance. The device can be stored dry.
Make sure that the container is set up frost-free.
DISPOSAL
The device must be disposed of in accordance with national legal regulations. This device must not be disposed of as domestic waste. Make the device unusable by cutting the cable and dispose of it via the return system provided.
If the device contains light sources, these must be disposed of using the return system provided for this purpose.
